Thank you! I am a 64 year old overweight women with many health challenges. This is the first time I have done floor Yoga. I surprised myself by doing most of the poses in spite of spinal injuries. I lasted 27 minutes. I will do this again on Monday. Many Thanks ❤

This is beautiful! I too found this video peaceful and calming. From therapy, I am learning that anxiety is often the result of worrying about the future in one way or another, so this video brought me back to the present, especially with the deep and paced breathing 🥰
Yeah I'm 72 now and I started practicing in 1970 when I was 20. But with raising kids and 50 years of marriage I often have been just exercising and trying to maintain my equilibrium. Thank the Lord for Thriftbooks I obtained some of my old instructions books. And just started practicing again. Like they say, "when the student is ready the teacher will appear".
Hands down the best restorative practice I’ve ever done. I’m 30 yrs old ex-athlete/bodybuilder and have suffered from debilitating anxiety, injuries and severe chronic fatigue for 1 year now. I’ve followed this video practice only twice and I have felt levels of peace and equanimity in my body that I have not felt in over 12 months. Thanks Jessica!

My favorite practice of all videos on UA-cam! This is perfect for my lifestyle. I work a stressful schedule. 2 days a typical 9-5 and 2 days graveyard, completely conflicting my internal clock evey shift so the graveyard shift are hard to pull theough at times and takes a toll on my mind, body and spirit. This practice however keeps me sane especially. after coming home from hanging in there from my graveyard shift...its PERFECT to rebalance my health.
Jessica seriously. you're amazing. Your reverance during this class was so beautiful to watch and experience with you. You also helped me realize that I can end my yin or restorative classes sitting up! My back tends to be stiff after lying on my back. It was so great to see you do the lying down poses then move to seated and meditation, which is the opposite of how I set my class. Genius sis. Thanks so much! Be blessed!
I love to do this sequence at the end of the day after I've been sitting in front of a computer for ~10 hours. It really helps to open up my chest and hip area and relieve the strain in my upper back and neck. I've also noticed that after a few weeks of doing it every day, my desk posture is much better and some chronic pain that I used to have is much reduced. Thank you for sharing!
This was just as advertised: restorative! I felt so much relief from tension throughout my body that near the end I was surprised by the tears that I started to release and shivers went down my back. What a wonderful yoga routine. Very grateful to you for sharing this gift with everyone ❤

I have chronic health issues, and usually when I do guided yoga it’s a struggle to get from one position to the next. But with this class, I can actually relax into the shapes and allow my muscles to stretch naturally and gently. Also, something about the words you choose allows me to feel what you are saying in my body. Thank you so much. ❤️
You can try shorter sessions and alter the video setting for a slower play speed like .75 ... I do this frequently, as I'm 60 and find myself not quite as nimble as these young yogis.. but do love following them. This was a lovely session, though, I do agree.
Today I came home from work very overwhelmed. My boyfriend told me to relax and do yoga, because he knows I enjoy doing it. Well, I ended up in your video completely by chance and at the end of the video, during the guided meditation, when you said "you don't need to have control now" I started crying. Words cannot explain how calming this was for me. I feel like I've been in such a weird place mentally and physically. It's either I don't know what to do with my day at all and regret sleeping or being inactive. OR it'll be me working extremely hard and feeling like I can't catch a break. I've been wanting to do something along with normal workouts and this just solidified my decision. Thank you so much! This is my first time trying this and I can't wait to add this into my daily routine. My therapist asked me to do mindful meditation and yoga once a day and I have to say, doing this and listening to your voice was just like being at the hypnotherapist. After shoveling some snow the other day my back was really hurting. This yoga sequence helped release the tension in my low back. Thank you!

I have been a subscriber for a while now. I always loved your classes, especially the vinyasa flows. I am currently recovering from two different surgeries and I haven't been able to exercise in over five months. I was nervous about where to begin. I selected this class to start, and it was perfect. When we went into the half frog position, I instantly felt that I should be doing more and working to get deeper into the pose, but after a few breaths and close to the end of the hold, I was able to let go and feel at peace with not trying. My therapist asked me to do mindful meditation and yoga once a day and I have to say, doing this and listening to your voice was just like being at the hypnotherapist. Thank you ❤ I was feeling fatigued and had cold symptom from hiking few days a go. I wanted to get a massage but not well enough to drive. Doing this on a piece of thick cloth is really nice to stretch the muscles and put pressure points. Glad I find ur page.❤
