Oh, speaking of waifus, do you prefer the good ones or the naughty ones, or maybe both? There's also a waifu paradise in Isekai Slow Life: click.fan/Lucy_ISL!
GHOST COOOOOOOOCHIE
A little bit of column A and a little bit of column B
Yeah, both thanks.
The worse the better. But that's probably because I'm part of the Asmongold-Lucy overlap and clearly want a combination of both in my waifu.
No.
i woke up to see the news about the sssniperwolf doxxing situation just this morning and i just wanna say i actually did not go hard enough on her in this video. i should've gone further. i should've said worse
Not unhinged enough smh
Opportunity missed. 😔

I'm sorry. Tha-that was a little dark. Very poor taste
I shouldn't have said that

Not too late to do a part two to this! Get her ass, Lucy.
congrats on being the better person
Every time I watch a new Lucy Pyre video I am amazed by just how far she can push her degeneracy and still remain on UA-cam, like she has to be reaching the limit here right? And then next video she goes farther. Every. Single. Time. Props to you for fighting the UA-cam algorithm Lucy!
can't wait for SSJ3 degen pyre
It's like a superpower!
The algorithms has probably given up by now.
I dont think free speech should ever be banned. It's sad that it is, especially if you speak the truth. Lucy is not pushing degeneracy , she is just a little bit less fake than all the mainstream. Appreciate her while we have her.
@@sungarlic I would agree! In my comment above I was mainly trying to voice my surprise at how far Lucy's content pushes the envelope considering UA-cam's policies on such things. But I absolutely agree that Lucy's content is special and worth celebrating, and I appreciate how uncompromising she is in her vision for her content even if she risks demonetization for it.
I just wanted to say, I was an Asmon viewer who got introduced to your channel through his reacts, and since I Iove your... content... I try to watch your videos before his reacts come out for them, even though I watch those too. Keep making awesome content, Lucy!
Lol same
i went from watching asmon reactions occasionally to just watching lucy lol
Found her through Asmon as well. Way too much for me but I check-in every once in a while 😆
I found Asmon through a reaction to an elden ring video he made, and then Lucy through an Asmon reaction to one she made. With some simple communication and respect, content creators can actually help each other through reactions.
Same, found Lucy through Asmon, and found Asmon because he reacted to Josh Strife Hayes.
I can already see Asmon face palming hard while reacting to this lmao
Straight 2 hand face-palm all the way down to the desk
She did our boy dirty!! T.T
@@jazeenharal6013 ya boy aint shit, just a boy
@bleachknight90 his content is arguably transformative as he spends most of the time giving his opinion and takes on the content.
Unlike sniperWolf lol
@@jazeenharal6013nah.. pausing the video to talk about something the video talks about later on is not transformative
I agree the bare minimum is to shout out the original creator so your fanbase at least has the option to leave a like and some watch time on the original video (even if it's muted in a tab somewhere in the background). Allowing some time for the original video to generate revenue for the creator is a good thing too. After that the addition of takes more complicated than the occasional sage nod, or a literal description of what's occurring on screen makes the video actually decent. Great video as always, keep up the good work!
It's still stealing. If you're showing the entire video on your stream, it's not like your viewers are gonna go rewatch the original. It's illegal for the same reason restreaming a whole movie is
just ask youtube to give the revenue of that video to the original maker easy react on UA-cam will just die by itself
no one will bother doing that so its kinda pointless tbh, Most important thing is to let the content cook for a week or so before reacting imo
I normally don't like to watch a lot of reaction content unless it's like shows but if I do watch content from a creator I give the video a like sometimes a comment and play it in the background to support them as much as possible.
Yeah, and hitting out the links ontop for people to leave a like and a view
and of course actually leaving some input or actual reaction. Doesnt have to be an expert's opinion, but just not view.jpg. Like actually discussing what happens or smth
Edit: altough on a 2nd read you also said that, oops
I don’t know why the judges disqualified Lucy; that sssniperwolf impression was spot on!
I'm not sure it was THAT accurate. Lucy's voice is more than tolerable, and you can actually understand what she's saying, while sniperwolf's voice makes me envy deaf people.
Asmond is pretty much react content done right. He pauses often. Talks about the content. Shows you what the video is, and continues about his day.
SssniperWolf, XQC, and Piker are stains on the legacy of react content. (And that's being nice about it)
hasan at least generally makes a credible attempt to comment on the content. xqc doesn't even do that, and i'm surprised he hasn't gotten sued yet for it.
edit: and no i'm not a hasan watcher at all - couldn't care less of his streams and i disagree with much of his political views (dude started as a breadtuber and expanded) too
@@dead-claudia Hasan had actually done that exact XQC thing on a number of occasions to a point even his own chat talks about it. I don't watch him but the are fast forwarded clips of him putting something on, leaving, and being gone forever.

Well, what do you expect from the Breadtube people like Hasan? That they don't steal from the small man and give it to the big guy (themselves?) Come on, being for the small guy was never how communism worked :D
What an l take 😂
I'm part of the small overlap of Lucy Pyre viewers and asmongold viewers, but I also play WoW so my opinion is invalid. But yeah, react content is fine if it's adding something but those that just daze out themselves while watching it or rip off the vid need a harsh slap. Another great video Lucy and can't wait to watch it again with Baldy.
And just for the record, occasionally interjecting with "wow" or "that's crazy" isn't adding anything
I discovered Lucy through Asmon. I'm not gonna lie, a lot of Asmon's Channer-bait content pisses me off, but his react content is SOLID. He gives creators an easy way to opt out and he actually discusses the content and adds to the discussion. Granted, for Lucy he usually just blushes and locks up. But that's because Lucy is a degenerate who deserves religious head-shaving.
It’s funny since I gave up on Asmon’s channel recently because I was tired of nothing but react videos. Like Asmon, but don’t like the content or how his editors make the videos so clickbaity.
@@HumanPerson_final Content creators/streamers who want to remain relevant have to follow the current "meta" when it comes to their type of content. The very few who say they're doing whatever they want, without following the trends, just out of love or passion are either the 1% on the platform, who don't need to worry about the audience they draw in, or are in no way shape or form in need of financial incentives in their lives.
I'm not always a fan of mainly react streamers/content creators, like what Asmond does nowadays. But I can tell you that I've watched Asmond more now when he's doing react content compared to when he was mainly just a WoW streamer.
@@statixfear to each their own. I’ve watched him for a couple years or so and it’s kinda the same thing. The clickbait dramatic way they’re presented by the editors has gotten worse and that’s a big part of why I got frustrated with it. Asmon himself is usually entertaining, especially when demonstrating his chef skills.
I found your channel through Asmon. Your videos are interesting, funny and thoughtful. I'm sure there are more people like me. If you comment on his reaction videos to your videos, I'm sure you'll be on top of the comment section and get more subs.
Same here. Wouldn't know Lucy existed if Asmon didn't react to her. Glad he did.
Same :D

@@Kossagubben wtf
I don't understand why UA-cam just hasn't done some sort of "React Feature" yet. Add in some sort of revenue share, and have the videos be "merged" in terms of views or something. Maybe a fancy UI so you can easily find reactions from the main video, etc. A lot of the react channels are basically just aggregate channels and are actually pretty useful for finding other channels you might be interested in (It's how I found this channel for example, I don't really use the algorithm). There should be a way to flag your video or claim a video as a "reaction" and then some sort of revenue split happens. Maybe views are also pushed over as well which would also help the video in the algorithm.
Congratulations on your 200k subscribers, Lucy. It's well earned!
Damn, that was entertaining. Great writing, editing, and delivery.
The irony is that I found Lucy through Asmon.
I think that react content is only great when it's creative and respects the content creator they're reacting too. Hard to agree with it when 80% of reacters just sit there with a thumb up their ass and just saying random generic quotes like "Damn," or "Thats Crazy"
Now wait a gosh darn moment, Lucy
You mean to tell me that there's an ETHICAL way to do reaction content? That a creator doesn't have to just wholesale slap a video of someone else onto another video of theirs and be a leech? *Impossible*
But honestly, thats great to hear. I genuinely wish more people would adopt that idea cause, like you said, watching your favorite creator react to shit can be fun, provided they actually make it transformative enough and follow through with proper procedure of giving credit and everything else mentioned. That's why it got popular. And I hope what TheActMan and Asmon did to resolve their issue becomes the norm going forward. Two big names doing what they did should hopefully make that solution more popular.
W content as always!
There's a very simple way to be lazy and still make "ethical" reaction content. Don't play the video at all and just have a timestamp. There's a reason why it's not popular. Also some people might argue that calling transformative works that would hold up in a court of law "reaction content" only serves to muddy the waters.
@@abcron3788 That... actually makes no sense to me, can you explain what you mean by that (Did you mean for the people that watch the video in silence then give a 3 minute commentary, if so then I agree. Creators like Asmon are transformative because they're constantly discussing and debating the video actively and tend to double, if not triple the length of it while providing meaningful dialogue, which honestly I find damn hard to do).
People that just add one or two minutes extra or don't add anything are an unforgiveable sin on this earth tho
The fight wasn't really a fight, discussion or... well anything. Asmon used to reacted around 1-2 days before the vid came out, TAC asked him if he could delay his reactions to his vids to around 4 days and Asmon said 'Aight, fine by me'. They're still on good terms
@@destinystriumph1573 Are you saying that as long as you pause and talk for long enough, such as triple the length of the video, that it's okay to rebroadcast the entire video? Even though that removes the need to watch the original video? Are you aware that many videos take longer than triple their length to create, maybe months and the efforts of multiple people?
Though to answer your question, I meant that if the creators wanted to sue reactors, such as Asmon, for intellectual property theft, they would win. That's why you won't catch reactors rebroadcasting the entirety of an IP created by a company with a legal team, at least not without permission. (There are exceptions such as an advertisement or certain video games but not all. (Visual novels will sometimes take legal action against people who stream their game because it eliminates too much demand for consumers to play the game themselves.))
Seriously as cringe as Asmongold's stream persona is, he seems like a legit decent dude. Most react youtubers and streamer don't link the original creator or even acknowledge them.
He has nearly always included a link to the original creator and if he likes the content he will give a shoutout on his stream to go show their channel some love and attention.
The reactions that I'm the most interested in are from people who are either experts in something like for example a historian reacting to "the history of japan i guess" and a doctor reacting to race car crashes, or something contextual like a parent reacting to oshi no ko ep 1 (showing only the subtitles), or random people reacting to specific scenes I like because I don't have friends to share them with, like the random people reaction to the "urusee baaka" scene from kaguya sama.
That intro was incredible Lucy, thank you for that.
Great video. Also great editing Pinoy. Any person that uses the voice of cards soundtrack in the video instantly get my respect. Amazing editing.
you're the goat for noticing that
This is such a well made take with a great plan and call to action, 10/10 gj lucy! I hope this blows up and can help folks come up with mutual solutions on this.
2:37 - I knew I was not alone, damn voices... NO, I'M NOT GOING TO GET NAKED
Yeah, alright, Asmon is DEFINITELY going to react to this one... I can't wait to see his reaction when he watches the add.
I like that guy, he's so wholesome.
Btw, yes, completely agree about the fact that I also enjoy react content (because it lets me discover new people and creators (I literally discovered you and your content thanks to Asmon reaction to one of your vids...), and enjoy the "reacter" reaction) and also completely agree that is about the reactor (and sometimes I'd just search for reactions to a specific content and enjoy the reactions of reactors to that content).
Obviously I do not enjoy ALL reactions and reactors, as many other people we all have our filters and dislikes.
Hell, for me the Asmon case it's very clearly a "Asmon could watch a video about literally anything that I'd watch it", because I enjoy watching and hearing him (I love his second chanel vids, even sometimes watched em with my dad, thing that I can't really normally do because our interests)
In short, nice vid, I enjoy your humor and more times than not I find myself nodding and agreeing with even the... lets say spicy stuff so hey, that's another positive point for you in my book, even if it's a horni point, but I'm sure people would say those are the best points xD
It's interesting because I only found Lucy through Asmon, so it's like, should I be thankful for the react content showing me a new creator? Is the alternative reality of never being shown a new creator through a react better?
I noticed that Asmon at least shows the video title and the creator on screen usually. Unlike some other reaction channels, *cough* *cough* sssniperwolf *cough* *cough*, that just have a large compilation of videos that are difficult to track down. Some even will go out of their way to ensure watermarks are cropped out or hidden. In terms of Asmon, it may take a view away from that one reaction video, but if you like the video he is reacting to it is easy to find the original creator and subscribe to them.
@@dhgmrz17if someone actively cropped out watermarks for stuff i create, i'd actually consider suing for that.
even most creative commons works require attribution. and yes i've heard of people (not streamers but in general) losing in court for not including attribution for works using creative commons licenses.
key word is "consider" bc well i wouldn't sue if it's potentially fair use
I came here from Asmon because I wanted to watch the original video from you Lucy! Now I'm subscribed and liking your videos ever since! Also thank you Pinoy for using (even for a few seconds) Jet Set Radio OST and Bomb Rush CyberFunk background! I hope more people play these games!

@@rylenstuffsv2yes i do with all my being i understand
Personally, as long as they're adding more than just "haha", "wtf", or "bro", it's a fine react in my eyes. I don't care if it's you, Asmongold, or Pausan Piker, as long as the reactors own takes are being added to it, it's cool to me.
Aka XQC
I think it should go like this:
If it's a heavy production video, like with high quality editing, tons of research and citations, etc, the creator should either not touch it or leave a massive donation/tip. IE: stuff Upper Echelon usually makes.
If it's a silly ha-ha video that is memetic or of something random in the world, like cute animal videos or wild car chases, then it's completely fair game.
If it's something more typical of a creator, like a basic video essay giving an opinion or talking about a subject, then the original creator should be shouted out and promoted and the reactor should provide actual dialogue into the video, not being silent/absent or nothing-reacts like "haha" or "bro".
Or if it's just a lunch break but they still upload it to UA-cam because "content"
@Tramelle I wouldn't really say xqc is like that cause he usually goes on a 10 minute non coherent rant 5 minutes into the video or tries to act like an expert with a "take" lol.
Xqc reacting to get a 40k skin or more despite being a millionaire. 😂
Great video! I can't wait for Asmon's reaction as he's malding over it.

Lucy: You can't become popular through reaction videos!

Your content and arguments remind a lot of old UA-cam and debate format i so love. You give something to think about in this genre. Subbed
I did not have to see that roach part, I could've gone my entire life without seeing Lucy banging an Umi gasping roach under my floorboards moaning in my ears. I'll be telling to my therapist about this.

Lucy got talent
Asmongold is my backup for when I'm out of Lucy content.
Evey new Lucy Pyre video brings me closer to ascending to a higher plane of existence. Truly a worthy representative of the degen community.
Every one of Lucy’s videos is a ride! She’s such a good writer!
Just recently subscribed to you and I am so mad at UA-cam not recommending you so much sooner! ❤😂
React content is definitely 100% that cocaine we like to consume. Too real. I just love seeing different people react to in-game cutscenes for my favorite games/characters/shows. It's that little gremlin inside your brain that you're trying to satisfy but it can't get enough of it.
I like how Asmongold leaves in all the sponsorship segments of videos he reacts to. In theory, that should make sponsors be much more interested in paying for content from creators whose videos the bald man tends to react to.
He might be partially bald, but he somehow manages to make his remaining hair look fabulous.
I think the most easy way to handle react content is exactly waht was mentioneda t the end. Since Videos are bascically on a plato, jsut wait a few days, 4 seems to be perfect, im sure the number didnt come out of nowhere, and than do the reaction video.
Also i must personally says, i have found a lot of creators through reactions i otherwise ouwld not have found - including lucy!
It does feel right to wait for a video to be essentially forgotten by the algorithm before reacting to it, and there is also the fact that some creators are mistaken in thinking that every view from a react video is the same as a missed number of view, since the audiences don't necessarily overlap. But these overlap are great, unironic good exposure.
Personally, I got to discover many channels, including this one, through react, and so whenever these channels upload, I watch their original video, then a few days later, if there is one, a reaction of a favorite streamer. Other times, and it's sad but true, I just don't particularly like the original video, but I do like what someone might have to say about it.
Man cant wait for the Baldman to react to this so I can watch it!
All jokes aside i do think Asmon is one of the few co tent creators that does react content correctly. If you approach him he listens to you about what you want him to do for your content. He doesnt just let it play and drool all over the place, instead he actually pauses the videos and gives his insights (much to the dismay of chatters at times). Also oh my god he pauses while leaving to do other things!? And finally he links the original source of the video for people to go watch.
Wow, Lucy's takes are SO TRUEEEE!!
*slurps ramen*
damn she just like me fr fr.........
I usually put videos on as background noise but everytime I try with one of yours, I end up going “Wtf did I just hear?” and I actually watch the video. It’s like a traffic pileup of degeneracy. I can’t look away
The editing in this is fantastic lol
My firm belief on react content is that it'll only truly be gone once there is no content to react to anymore. So as much as people might not like it (me either honestly), it's here to stay baby! I just hope everyone adds a bit more spice to it you know? Something that shows that its THEM reacting to content instead of just anyone else. For Lucy? probably coom jokes, but hey, that's our Lucy!
It'll be gone the day we stop being so lonely.
@@Lianpe98 It'll be gone when UA-camrs finally decide to protect their IPs the way companies do instead of letting a significant portion of viewership go to thieves. If reactors didn't play stolen content, then they'd only be hogging views that would have gone to anything else.
@@abcron3788 Many would just keep on doing it propperly with permissions and royalties
Technological solution. When you want to react your audience gets a link to the source, the audience opens it and watch along getting the ads and ignoring all the calls to action the marketing team demanded. Nothing shows on the reactor's video stream. But the reactor can control the group's pause/play so you get the same effect but only if you are watching the source picture in picture. Everyone wins.
**Google inc wants to know your location**
UA-cam should've added watch parties forever ago tbh. They so rarely add features
And, Ms. Pyre, if'n you're taking reaction requests, might I recommend some Frog Leap Studios cover videos?
I don't think I've seen enough people react to his Metal rendition of Adell's 'Hello'.
Nor have I seen enough people react to his acoustic cover of Slipknot's 'Duality'.
But, there's more to his covers than interesting sounds. His videos have a humor to them. For some examples, look at Black Betty, Immigrant Song, and Row, Row, Row Your Boat. (Yes. His Row, Row, Row Your Boat will do ANYTHING BUT put your kids to sleep at night.)
And, he does some interesting collaborations with other musical talents. His duet with Violet Orlandi in 'Listen to Your Heart' is a fun one. Pay close attention. Violet does something interesting regarding the subject matter for that one.
And, he even does interesting advertisements for his cover music and band tours following each music video. Usually worth checking out.

S’good stuff Lucy, I will now proceed to bolster Asmonbald’s channel by putting his reaction video to this one on loop for 6 days.
you got me with that Tekken 8 intro parody. also i suppose every commentary channel will be talking about the SSSniperwolf situation eventually, like EVERY channel with that genre, whether big or small lol
I mean, in my opinion, react content will always be demanded as long as 1) people want to share videos with others, and 2) there are people who have little to no people to share it with in person to see them react like friends or family members who understand your love for anime vtuber waifus. In other words.... It ain't going anywhere.
Yep, I don't have friends to share things with.

Jokes aside, i never watched reaction videos out of pure principle, the only exception is on a stream, and even then, it was actually transformative because said streamer wanted to learn about a game's universe(yes, it's wh40k) and paused to comment on things/ask questions to chat.

I think people would be less "unhappy" about the react meta if the streamer/youtuber would actually post the links to the things they react to in the video description, or sticky it in Twitch so people know can watch the thing themselves.
Asmon has to react to this now 100%!111!! Its a must!
