a couple of comments have pointed out to me that starter/1st stage evolutions aren't technically "baby" pokemon, which is true and something i didn't consider! however, on a personal level, the pokemon being generally very small and young-looking leads me to not being interested in them in the first place. though tbh a wrinkled chad squirtle sounds like an absolute smash
for the next generations, i will be taking item-evolution pokemon into consideration as non-"baby" pokemon. thank you for informing me! c:
I think you should also add Pokémon who were originally unevolving like Lickitung or Stantler to your “first evolution” exception list, because I don’t think you can really look at those and claim they look young and childish like a Squirtle or Dratini.
Honestly, while you can't say it directly out loud due to a certain 'crowd', it's refreshing to see a vtuber just straight up say this. (In regards to how you feel towards 'young' things in general)

There needs to be third option in these quizzes, which is "Cuddle". There's tons of pokemon I wouldn't even remotely think of smashing, but would love to hug.
That's what Vaporeon is actually best for. It would be like hugging a warm water balloon that you don't have to worry about popping, and has the mind of a dog cat.

Yeah, I don't equate evolution to age because you can have a level 100 Ralts that you have for years and a level 100 Gardevoir who was hatched on the same day, plus both can bread. Then you have Riolu who's a baby Pokemon who needs to evolve with high friendship during the day, so theoretically one could be a Riolu forever. The whole thing's a mess.
But, I can understand why she skipped them because people are weird and have different morals about smashing Pokemon... which honestly makes absolutely no sense at all to begin with.
