Nowadays Content creators have to master this Hydra of content platforms to maximize their reach, it's crazy when you compare to how it was just 10 years ago. Nowadays gotta have a UA-cam, twitter, twitch, discord, tik tok minimum.
As a Viewer i meet new creators all the time in different platforms and try to keep up the most with creators i enjoy, that means daily checking multiple sites and apps.
But i've also heard of the opposite: viewers who refuse, either out of preference or Principle to interact with specific playtforms.
You can never go wrong with youtube tho, literally everyone i know uses this platform so keeping things rolling on this side of the internet is the best decision, even with all the Demonetization chaos.

Also people that want to grow on Twitch really need to advertise and promote their streams somewhere else. The "recommended channels" section and "people who watch x also watch y" helped me find some good streamers I like, but that's a handful of streamers in the ocean. I often hear the advice to funnel people from youtube videos to your clips, but more recently I also saw more people having success with putting videos on tik tok.
(Mostly) unrelated to the video but I found your channel a while ago and you are doing great. While I am, and probably will be, noone to you I still want to take the time to tell you that I apprecitae ur content.
You seem to be confident and quite successfull in doing what you r doing. I can only speak for your most recent uploads and while your deliverance is comedic there's nothing but truth to be found.

You will not believe how happy it makes me to see your vod channel in a video. Some vtubers are like: "just because i have an official vod channel, does not mean i have to put videos on it." I have even seen a vtuber nuke a fanmade vod channel. I just hate it when i have to watch something at a specific time. I am a moody person and sometimes i just do not feel like watching streams. Having the ability to pause and grab some food or got to the toilet is always awesome. I just want to say thanks for the vod channel. It made you earn a special place in my heart.

I’m seeing a pattern here. UA-cam and twitch have had monopolies for video and streaming respectively. Kick is bringing competition to the market. This results in better content opportunities as UA-cam would have to compete with other platforms that provide more money to creators or allow ad revenue on questionable material
