    Ingredients
    * 1 cup oats
    * 1/2 cup Vivo Life Perform Madagascan Vanilla protein
    * 1 1/2 cups plant milk
    * 1 mashed ripe banana
    * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    * 2 teaspoons baking powder
    * 3/4 cup all-purpose flour see notes for gluten-free
    * 1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional
    * 1/3 cup vegan chocolate chips optional
    * pinch of salt
    Instructions
    * Heat up your waffle iron.
    * Blend oats into a flour. To the blender, add protein, milk, banana, oil, baking powder and salt and blend until completely smooth. Add in flour and whisk or pulse until just combined (don’t over-mix).
    * Spray waffle iron with oil if needed, and cook to preferred doneness. I have a Cuisinart belgian waffle maker and this makes 6 pretty thick waffles for me.

    Hi Sarah! As an Italian I would recommend you to learn first Spanish at a medium/advanced level, and then languages like Italian and Portuguese will be automathically understandable at a basic lavel. Because if you start learning italian or french from 0 when you already have a spanish base it will be confusing in my opinion. I did this mistake with Spanish and Catalan, now I really confuse them. However love your vlogs and greetings from Venice :)

    Have you tried making homemade mayo with soy milk? Its so easy and cheap and delicious. I made chickpea salad with it and it was great. The recipe is basically just to ad a couple tablespoons of soy milk and any flavourings you would like (vinegar, mustard, garlic, kala namak, pepper etc.) and whipping or blending it while streaming in some neutral tasting oil until the texture is nice and creamy.

    I enjoy your videos so much more than most of the content I see regarding vegan food. Like, some days people eat veggie packed salads, and other days we get the impossible whopper from BK. Balance 💁🏻‍♀️ It seems like people just generally upload picture perfect meals and it feels kinda fake. (Not to throw too much shade, I’m sure some people really do eat that way, but I don’t)

    When I worked at this fancy restaurant last year, we had a coconut sorbet with citrus fruit salad and spicy simple syrup for the vegan menu. And every single time I plated that dessert at least two of the waiters came running with a spoon to "taste" the sorbet. (It could be the same person three times the same night. It was that delicious.) Unfortunately I never made the actual base for the sorbet but from what I could gather it was only some coconut cream, lime juice and simple syrup. I really think you should give it a try! :)

    You look so cute together, passing time in the pandemic and being creative. At that time I found some wool in my closet and knitted a ton of stuff, it kept me calm and happy even if the world was going crazy. The soup sounds amazing and very nutritious, I usually put parsnip in mine, but beans to make it silky is genius!
    For milk, try hemp seeds , one date, water , you get silky hemp milk. And the seeds are shelf stable.
    For emergency vegan meals, I like the book. Vegans unplugged! The authors have included an emergency vegan meal kit. You could do a video about that.
    Keep us updated on your tries fo vegan ice cream, when I read the ingredients in commercial vegan ice cream I didn't want to try it. It is not nutritious and it is processed. Fruits sorbets would be the way to go. I use the ZOKU to make a slurry with fruit juices. HUmmm, maybe I could add some coconut cream to the fruit juices and it would make an ice cream?

    If y’all have a Costco membership then y’all should buy Soy or Almond milk in bulk there. It’s so much cheaper that way. They come in packs of 12 quart size containers and it’s only like $11, I believe. The last time we went we picked up 2 packs and it was the best decision because we go through so much milk! It’s way cheaper than running to the store every week just for milk. We also do once a month shopping which is so budget friendly and we only go back for fruit and veg and anything special that we just want.

    Hi guys! I am wondering--how crucial is the Liquid Smoke to the flavor of the jerky? We bought some soy curls in bulk and I think we have more than I could ever use in a lifetime, so my interest is incredibly piqued by your jerky recipe! Only problem is...I just can't even with Liquid Smoke. I blame an ex that I used to live with and who never put the lid on the bottle properly and it would dribble all over the refrigerator and its contents. We could never get the smell out and to this day it haunts my dreams and gives me this horrible visceral reaction to even think about it! So...would you say that you could get away with leaving it out?

    I love my deep fryer. I don't care what anyone says french fries are much better from a deep fryer. I have tried every brand and every method, but the deep fryer always wins. There's a million other things that I like better in a fryer as well like beer battered onion rings and tofu. You just can't get the same results from the oven. (I am not saying that you should eat it every single day, but it is a nice thing to have once in a while.)
