I live in Shanghai and I've recently had to start online teaching due to the coronavirus and schools being closed. I've had to record videos daily to send to my students; even when I was really not feeling being on camera, or I was having really bad breakouts, or I was just generally not motivated to talk to a camera with no stimulating environment around me to spur me on. I made those Cajun beans and they were amazing. I just used some regular vegan sausage I had by simple truth. It’s plain by itself but I seasoned it and it was amazing.

I'd love to see a video about sauces, dips (possibly show us the intended superbowl dips?), condiments (ketchup??), butter, etc. made at home and vegan! I know you've shared the vegan ranch, ceasar dressing, and of course cheese sauce before but a video dedicated to them would be helpful :)
Sarah! The other day I found Chobani oat milk at Kroger! They have regular, vanilla and extra creamy. I snatched extra creamy and it’s amazing in coffee!!

I loved your test kitchen you had going on for a while, recreating that but from blog posts would be super helpful! Again with the whole ‘easy access’ thing - recreating different food bloggers recipes would be super interesting. I guess when I look to vegan food videos I tend to go for ones to inspire (a very lazy) me to get in the kitchen! Love your channel - whatever name you choose 🥰
In Chinese cuisine cinnamon is sometimes used as a savory spice. So some of my friend would associate the scent of cinnamon with savory food, and would find it weird to use it in sweet foods lol

love it!! 1) sarah, the stew seemed to have weird texture because of neglect in pressure cooking the beans :/. always save that stock, it's not the same canned liquid at all! 2) how much is that sausage?
The snow here has been pretty harsh! When there's snow, that means I don't have work, coz my work is outdoors. Oh well, it gave me lots of time to film at home and that light was great because of the reflection off the snow!
I love the hot Italian flavor! I did not like the bratwurst one. You can't tell these are vegan at all! My bf, who eats meat, is obsessed with the hot italian!! He said it was his favorite vegan food, until I made vegan Chinese mango crispy chickn...lol. But he actually asks for this sausage over meat!! My meat eating parents also love it. I saute them in a pan with a bit of oil, along with diced onions and peppers. As the sausages cook, they emit an orangy colored oil, and it's soooo delicious when that oil mixes with the onions and peppers! I brown the sausages to my liking, and the "casing" gets a tad bit snappier but still fine! Definitely try them!

I'm planning to go in unbleached, and I'm really excited to finally have red-ish hair again. Red is your colour by the way, looks great!

Hey dont want to be a health police but id look into using agave. I used to be a fiend of agave until I learned its pretty much just very processed fructose (found in nature in small quantities in fruit and our bodies adapt by sending too much straight to our fat storages yada yada yada kind of likr drinking druit juice which doesnt have the counteracting good stuff and just the sugar)- love the videos keep em coming. 💙💙💙

I've never tried it, so I actually have no idea how beneficial they are, so just curious have you done a lot research on these types of products?
Beans are more easily digestible when soaked so I think it is always important to soak to remove phytic acid /enzyme inhibiting properties that the soaking actually helps break down, especiallywith a tad of apple cider vinegar, just overnight or up to 12 hours, in 3 times the amount of water to beans. Very important for vegans to soak to obtain all nutrients from beans, and seeds even better to sprout. Feel like you casually ignored the importance of this small step and ‘just put them in the instant pot’
Question: Do you prefer the Simple Truth oat milk to Oatly? I finally got Oatly in my area and have been buying it but I think I have access to the other as well!

Simple Truth is my favorite brand of food! They got everything you can think whether vegan or not. Bobs Red Mill is another good one.
