Sometimes when I'm trying to make the chickpea salad really healthy I mash in a 1/2 block silken tofu! Also ups the protein a little and with all the other spices and flavors you cant taste it at all
Yes please keep these videos coming! I also love when eric is in them :) This inspired me to make my fiance a chickpea salad sandwich for lunch tomorrow! She got a job in security to help during the quarantine so I get to pack her stuff everyday now! Although I go back to work on Monday since my job is essential too. Yay us. Shows I caught up on that are popular on hulu like a million little things, this is us, masked singer... Ones I would recommend would be blindspot (hulu), lucifer (hulu?), atypical (netflix), the circle (both?)... I need suggestions too! I have to make it through the weekend and I feel like I have nothing to watch while I clean and cook and things haha

I make my chichpea 'tuna' salad with hummus and dijon mustard (and lemon and seasoning): so good! Also how I make my potato salad. Would luv to see how you made the Reuben, especially if you made seitan. I attempted seitan last week for 'corned beef' and it came out spongy even though I kneaded it for 10 minutes.
The meal prep looks DELICIOUS!!! Who doesn't love guacamole and healthy vegan cheese sauce for DAYS?!
I always add a bunch of seaweed and garlic. So yummy.

What a crazy world we're in. I had to go to 4 different stores the other day to get everything I wanted. I'm really glad that the veggies are staying stocked because I have plenty of staples, but the veggies run out pretty quick. I had a couple of days off because of weather, so I enjoyed doing a lot of cooking, but today it's back to work!

Yep.. lists are good! I have one on my pinboard, listing the item and in which freezer drawer ,. Cross them off as we go!

On Netflix: Meteor Garden, Good Morning Call, Riverdale, Love is Blind, The Witcher, What/If, Great British Baking Championship (some inspiration for recreating what they make vegan). Hulu: Dave, Awkward, Guys grocery games, Chopped.. My stepson loves chopped junior also.
If you can ever get your hands on Lucky Habanero's Dragon Lips salsa, that one is to die for! There is not a market for it so the stores rarely stock them. Here in CA, we usually find them at the farmers' markets.

The T.V. show we've been binging on is Perfect Strangers. Omg so hilarious.
There isn't much competition for produce in my local grocery either. 😅 Kinda makes me a little sad for the little ones in my area that apparently don't get much vegg/fruits..😥

It’s beyond crazy in California. I think it’s going to get worse tomorrow since the entire state is on a new order. Safer at home. Only essential business can stay open. Ppl are confused thinking grocery stores are closing. My wife is LAPD so she is essential.
Do they do deliveries in your city at all? I’m planning to have all my groceries delivered from now on - see how that works out. :) Stay safe!
Anna Sin I can get groceries delivered to me in the part of Colorado were I live. I would check and see if you can use Instacart, Shipt, Walmart delivery or another service.

I agree with you about the canned chickpeas being undercooked. I always prefer to cook from dried for chickpea salads too. 😊

I can 100% understand: Currently, I HATE food shopping. It honestly gives me chills. In my country, ALL people are obliged to wear single use gloves, lot of them wear also masks and malls are closed except from grocery stores which makes it extremely creepy.
I hope we will all be able to make the most of that extremely weird time.

Excellent video. All the videos being downloaded are forever going to be known as Coronavirus quarantine videos. With the exception of helping my elderly mum and working in the allotment (gardening) I will be indoors. Keep safe, wash your hands often with soap for 20 seconds and don't panic.

@@SarahsVeganKitchen thank you for allowing my need to be loud - and about something you said right in the beginning in passing. they are so good. I think because sugar is the first ingredient all or most of the time (the one time I checked, the first time I had the blueberry muffins, because I felt this is pretty much a good muffin and really good cupcake, and I wanted to know why). They do make full size muffins as well - and it's four muffins per container.

I'm glad Erik seems to be recovering well! I'm actually having my defibrillator battery changed on the 30th. So...surgery buddies! lol Also, him making you laugh. My husband use to try to do that all the time when were in college. I would be performing with my music fraternity and during the performances I would literally have to avoid eye contact with him because otherwise it would mess up my singing so bad with his silly faces. Why the mens do this?! He has since learned to avoid my wrath...sometimes. ;) Lol

I think they're harder to find now! This was filmed on Saturday I think before all the produce had been picked over! People were mostly just buying shelf stable goods at that time (here at least).

Yes! We have the container that comes by default, and then my mom got me the 48 oz one. we use the small one more often and usually just bring the large one out for big quantities of sauce, smoothies etc.

I guess it's not so much for St. Paddy's day proper as it is to use up leftover corned "beef" (seitan in our case). Kinda just a tradition for us!

Omg those organic frozen fruits are so expensive here in NYC... my heart hurt as soon as I saw them lol. I get those when I can't make the trip out to any other store. I always try to go to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods for them... they go about $2-3 a bag.
