Promethium it's in various mediums. If the earth is destroyed then you can say that it won't live forever but even if the show and manga don't go on it still lives through other mediums and past shows.

I really like the fact that people keep disrespecting Geekdom like his channel depends on Super’s existence in order to succeed, even tho after the show’s official end, this dude keeps posting some of the greatest and most unique content in the DB community. I think another part of it is that in an interview (the origins of which I don't remember), Toriyama jokingly said he wanted to end the series with Goku's death glare at Frieza. But then they told him "Toriyama, there has to be a fight", and Toriyama kept the joke going by complaining that he had to make them fight. I learned from one of MasakoX's videos.

Super handled both Freeza and Android 17, that is an accomplishment for Toei, Toei did well with Vegeta's character, hoped to see Vegeta till the end but I aint complaining, loved how they put meaning to predictable wish by saying that if a selfish wish was made then Zeno would have erased everything, this gave support to the predictable wish, also the comeback of 17 and him becoming the last man standing was flawless, its a thumbsup from me to Toei

I honestly don't understand why people believed this in the first place. There were several hints that it was going to continue including several character arcs that were not even close to being finished at the time.
Freeza has always been one of my top favorite characters. Freeza, Piccolo, and Fat Buu. I remember winning tons of tournament in DBZ Budakai 1

This myth was one I always knew was crap. But I also feel ending in the Freiza Saga would've been really clean.

I think it’s stupid to think that Toriyama was forced to continue DBZ, but I do believe that he was under a lot of pressure to make an equally compelling arc after that. For example, I don’t think he originally planned to get Bulma and Vegeta together during Future Trunks’s arc but it just sort of happened that way. However, it did work out for the best since it gave Vegeta a softer side and more character development. I don’t believe in any rumors unless I hear it from Toriyama himself via interviews.
Finally, took you long enough, I've been waiting for this video.

@@SoundVillageChunin17 I am not sure if it was a filler or not but Gohan was actually helping some sort of divine being in Dragonball anime when Goku tried to save his future father-in-law from burning mountain and searching for artifacts to extinguish the flames.

I use to hate that they brought Frieza back, but seeing him (reluctantly) work alongside Goku in DBZ Fighterz was funny. Would be great if he was a permanent ally. Wouldn't want Vegeta to accept it though as Frieza killed his father, his people and held him in bondage for so long. Could shift the nemesis/rival from Goku to Frieza. I don't know...who knows.

I’ll be honest I heard about this rumor when I first started to watch dbz as a kid and believed it for a long time. I never got why he’d end it after frieza since it didn’t make sense, but bought into it since it was something I heard as a kid, very informative video!

There’s a lot of things besides that fake interview that might make people think it was supposed to end at Frieza. Goku finally became the strongest in the universe, the only super saiyan because he’s pure of heart and vegeta isn’t, there were no more power levels/scouters after that, no more chasing the dragon balls, and the whole story started at namek with the nameless namekian coming to earth and creating the dragon balls so it fitting that the story ends at namek.

Yeap, the cell saga should have concluded the series, Gohan finally reaches to his untapped potential and he finally becomes the hero, Goku dies just like in the original time and showing that some things cannot change, Vegeta in solitude forever, Trunks brings peace to his future by destroys the androids. It’s the perfect ending
Actually Goku’ sarcasmo was completed with Frieza, when he became the strongest in the universe. It’s the rest that doesn’t make sense, with a red ribbon scientist who before was able to create robots as powerful as 8 and then he goes on to create beings more powerful than Frieza. Not to mention that the Cell saga as we know it cannot logically exist (I mean, how can Trunks future even exist in that circumstance? Why in trunks future nobody cares about telling Gohan and Trunks about the Rosat -which could auge easily been done through King Kaioh, who allows you to speak to your dears who are still alive- why nobody cares about asking King Kaioh to communicate with neo Namek -something which he could have easily done, he easily locates neo Namek when Goku goes to visit him in the Cell saga-, why nobody cares about training in the afterlife to defeat the androids and then ask Baba to be brought back to the world for one day like Son Gohan in the original Dragonball and Goku in the Buu Arc?)

This is actually the first time I have heard of this. I had heard plenty of people tell me that it was supposed to end at the cell saga which I actually believed until you posted your video debunking it.
Buu might be fat and dumb but he's one of my favorite characters it's sad that he was not in the tournament of power...

I think ppl take Toriyama’s statements of “I didn’t plan past this” to mean “I was going to end it here”, which I think is ridiculous. It’s pretty common knowledge that he just makes the story up as he goes along, barely planning anything. I believe he even said the reason Goku VS Frieza was so long was bc he was trying to come up with the next event, and when he couldn’t, he’d just draw more fighting. Similarly, ppl say “Toriyama was originally going to make DB just one story arc”, but I don’t think that’s true either. It was just that the first arc was the only one he thought out when creating it. He was like “well, I did my journey to the west parody. Now what? ...martial arts, I guess”
And I heard that it should've ended at the Cell games arc/saga😂

Dbz ending at the Namek arc would of been kinda stupid considering that all of Gohan’s potential and Vegeta’s development would of gone to waste.
Lol vegeta died … what development.? His death gave pride and strength to Goku. Vegeta was well developed by the Frieza arc

The namek arc (or freeza saga as people like to refer to) is hands down my favourite arc in DBZ,it's really enjoyable to watch in my opinion especially goku vs frieza fight and i don't mind if i had to watch it again and again.
