I’ll never forget the point blank kamehameha into Keflas forehead
1. 17 = MVP
2. Vegeta's growth in both power and character.
3. Gohan got his groove back. He better keep it.
4. Ultra Instinct
5. Frieza's character growth, and you know he has plans to mess with the Gods in the future.
6. Master Roshi.
7. Beerus learns to respect the U7 team. Maybe he can train a few more of them.
8. Pride Troopers, Jiren, Toppo, and Dispo especially.
9. Ultra Instinct's song.
10. For the first time, every major character had a moment to shine. Unlike before where everyone steps up to the big bad and gets smacked down. All of our heroes had some wins and weren't just canon fodder. This needs to continue as the story moves forward.
Gohan was a huge dissapointment to me, totally under utilized.
Could Gohan have done more? Sure. But he did just get his mojo back about 24 hour prior to the tournament starting. Going forward I hope they use the ToP as a launching point for Gohan to continue with the same drive and need to grow stronger to protect his loved ones and forge his own path, different than Goku.

To me the best thing about this arc is expansion of characters we can now root for and hate against. From Jiren and the pride troopers to universe 9s Trio De Danger.
My favorite part of this whole arc was 17, prior to this arc I didn't care about him at all and now he's one of my favorite characters.
Survival ark will always be good but there was definitely things that the producers could have done but overall it was a good arc.

It was OK. There were some good moments, but is severely countered by all the bad moments.
For me it was one of the worst arcs in Dragon Ball Super - i like Champa and Future Trunks Arc the most.

Android 17 is my personally favorite part of the arc, they did a really good job at keeping him feeling like the character he always was while giving him amazing character development aswell, but close 2nd is definantly Freeza, seeing him and Goku fight together while still keeping him the pure evil being that he is was awesome, i was worried they'd try to turn Freeza into a good guy with this arc, but he's as selfish an evil as ever, he just finally had a foe that he had no chance of beating on his own
Now people can shutup about Goku hogging the spotlight. Frieza helped Goku take out Jiren and Android 17 was the last man standing

Kamihector Tv Exactly! The ending was very satisfying. Goku got his clean win in 130, and they found a way to make it to where he didnt steal the spotlight in 131. Great stuff
Goku beat a man that was so OP that he blinked away a SSBx20 kaioken spirit bomb. He overcame that power gap in 48 minutes and beat Jiren to a point where a damaged base Frieza had a chance...how the fuck is that not stealing the spotlight? Goku was the strongest contestant at the end of the saga and the only thing that kept it like that was plot induced stupidity

And the fact that multiple people "self destructed" and are fine but yeah buu removes the tension.

Nice list. It was the fights and character development that were the two biggest for me.
I have to mostly agree with this list. Especially when it comes to Vegeta. People can say what they want about him calling him a sideman and such. But even though #17 was the MVP of this Arc The Prince of All Saiyans was the MVP of DBS.
Though this was the largest arc, it was also the most fierce and awesome.
I guess you are right in the aspect of the context of the tournament.
Cell Anime don't acknolodge him, 4 is one of the biggest haters and manga fanboys of the community, everyone called him out already and even some UA-camrs talked how bad he is on Twitter, he goes to every video super related to talk shit and never gives any reasoning or valid arguments

Geekdom, I wanted to give u an idea for a quick video. With 17's wish of resurrecting the universes that have been wiped out. What IF, Trunk's universe was also restored meaning the Universe of That timeline. That will basically mean that Merge Zamasu has revived and thus provide material for another arc with again a Reused Villain. Just a thought 🤔. Keep up the great work! 👍

Hey Geekdom, love your stuff. my favorite thing about the universe survival arc is the fact super seems to be returning to some technique driven martial arts (even though in the end it just became a powerscaling slugfest). The z fighters couldn't just be the strongest, there was some thought involved. The Return of Roshi was also a highlight. Roshi can outsmart the strongest fighters in other universes, that's great! I think it really needed to be displayed it is not always about powering up...I hope in the next series this is further expounded on. More amazing attacks, and a few less forms.

If there is one thing I liked about super is the characterization. When both achieve the power of the gods, vegeta matured a lot, found his true reason to fight, and its training on his own, not just to beat Goku. On the other side, Goku gets completely power drunk, he just discovered a whole new level of strength, and wants to test it, consequences be dammed. I know a lot of people dislike goku, but I really hope they take his character arc somwhere, as I liked the direction they are going with him, it makes him a vastly more interesting character than the typical hero of justice who only fights to protect the good and defeat the evil.
Finnally, I loved that the universe 11 pride troopers were good guys. It was refreshing to see someone fighting Goku as if he was the main villain, and not the other side arround.
I loved when vegeta said" that halo looks good on you" then freaza said I can give you one" that was some funny stuff

I like how the vegeta and the cabba relationship grew and how it was one of the reason vegeta was able to ascend pass regular blue

When that awesome theme ( you know which) kicked in, it always gave me goosebumbs because shit was about to get serious. These moments ARE the pure essence why dB can be so fucking good
I really liked the theme songs that were introduced like the ui theme or jiren's theme. I also liked that every character in U7 had his moment to shine not just Goku and Vegeta.

-Vegeta's character development
-Every Goku vs Jiren fight (and almost every fight in general)
-Jiren's character arc and it's completion
-Krillin's relationship with 18.
- The cavalcade of new characters
-Beerus' character and relationship with Goku and U7 in general.
We all know what was the best thing about this arc...the music that plays when Goku gets Ultra Instinct. OMG!!!
1. Android #17 was the unexpected MVP
2. Introduction of new characters from Gods, Fighters from different Universe and Pride Troopers especially Jiren and Toppo.
3. Zeno is still a god regardless of what he is since he foresee what will happen in this Tournament of Power.
4. Ultra Instinct..makes things different especially in the fight.
5. The Idea of the Grand Priest and the Angels that they are thinking of a rebellion.
6.Anything goes like ...using Potara ring for fusion or the Bottle use to seal an enemy
7.Great Fights from Jiren vs. Goku, Vegeta vs. Toppo and many more
8.U7 ganging up against Jiren in the last moment of the fight indicating that Jiren indicating that he is the mortal that can match up against a God
9. Gods of Destruction are former candidates or beings that are chosen by Zeno
10. Unexpected Teamwork of U6
This arc rocked! Kept us on the edge of our seats! Wasn’t perfect but thoroughly enjoyed it! 👍
the androids saving goku and fighting with him against universe 2 is such an underrated moment
1. Vegeta. His character development through Super and even into the ToP was excellent.
2. The underlying story of all for one and one for all in Jiren v Goku.
3. Animation of ToP.

I think they did a perfect job with master roshi, his performance not only developed his own character, but we actually saw goku CRYING because he thought his master was dead, he still loves and cares about him. Vegeta and beerus showing RESPECT for the old man.
Dude, Roshi's farewell speech to his students and then firing the original kamehameha was one of the best scenes in super.

Combat wise this tournament was absolutely insane. Considering nobody could use ki to fly we got the best and more out of some mainstay characters.
