No reverse lights at 1:39 as well!
Wow how did I not notice that! Good eye
I wonder if road testers pass people based on ethnicity to avoid being called racist even though they weren't properly trained to drive.
@@JonneeAppleseedSometimes you do have to wonder if there's a connection.
the audacity of the guy throwing garbage on the car
I'd have threw that trash back at him
@@tsang6482So would I, just with a bat behind my arm.
The last clip reminds me of a headline from The Onion: "Road-Kill Squirrel Remembered As Frantic, Indecisive"
Thanks so much for another very Vancouver video!
Thank you for watching!
Great video guys! That was awesome!
Believe it or not it's a one man crew here haha thanks for watching!
Wow! You could start a Vancouver's Worst Pedestrians channel!
Great video as always.
I have a pedestrian video already
00:57 haha that guy is straight up a Jedi. The clothing, scarf, the beard, the hand gesture using the force... Like was he larping? Very apt analogy.
We now see BC plated cars in Washington. Be extra alert and engage in defensive driving methods. Some of your contributors should send in a few clips about their adventures across the border.
They have actually but at the moment I'm focusing on BC. Maybe one day! Hello from across the border
7:57 could you imagine how much heat translink got from that video if the dashcamer showed them that
The video was forwarded to them by a translinl employee!
WTF these drivers, our city is crazy.
Bus drivers held to a higher standard??! 😅 I saw a Vancouver transit driver in downtown Vancouver on Robson Street reading a newspaper while driving down the road, the paper was laid across the steering wheel.
Lmao wow
5:05 - It took me a couple watches to see what the guy did wrong. I didn't notice the red lights for the left turn lane at first. Great compilation!
Thanks for watching!
1:03 - "Who does this stuff?"
Dudes with man buns do this stuff.
2:06 - My eyes! They burn! My eyes!
5:33 is exactly the kind of thing that gets those of us on two wheels hurt and killed; some fool pulling out and just STOPPING in the middle of the road leaving no room to stop or turn around them.
The fact that powel is my regular route to work I'm surprised I haven't seen this much fuckery on the road
Knock on wood
7:18... You know straight away they have more money than brains by driving a Neeoheeoh Amos and Andy.
5:15 Why can't people just drive properly and not run red lights? It's not that hard and it would make life so much easier for everyone. I can't even fathom.
And people downplay it! Thanks for watching
The people who run red lights are garbage, but we need to accept that garbage people exist and design to account for them. To an entitled impatient jerk, our traffic lights are a lesson, and that lesson is "you can get away with running red lights". When they are sitting at a red light with no conflicting traffic, the light is teaching them "you could have run this red light". Smarter traffic lights would be able to see that there is no conflict and remain green until there genuinely is a conflict. Jerks stopped at a red light will see the conflicting traffic, and will not learn that they could have run the red. Not Just Bikes has a video about how the lights in the Netherlands don't have this problem: ua-cam.com/video/knbVWXzL4-4/v-deo.html
Besides not teaching these people to run red lights, this also improves latency and throughput for other drivers and , assuming traffic engineers can be convinced that humans not in cars are people, it can also improve throughput, latency, and safety for other road users.
When the squirrels have more common sense then the rest of us hoomans
I had the exact same thing 7:20 today at Kingsway and Gladstone.
Hopefully you have a dashcam in case it happens again! Be careful out there
Thank you@@vancouversworstdrivers
1:10 One of these days, the family of a guy like that is going to miss them.
2:15 Based on what she does to her own body and what she did here, she doesn't come across as the type who gives a damn about anything.
6:24 I'm currently between dash cams but I came across one of these recently..
7:10 Oh man, that's constant in Red Deer these days. It never used to be this bad. After 2020, it just seems like there are a lot more people emboldened to just push themselves to the "front of the line" so to speak.
I was in north Georgia in 2017 and this tweaker threw a toaster at an old lady driving. Smashed her windshield and she got out and popped him in the leg with her .22
Rolling out the relatable clips today
0:45 looks like a guy who pulled out a metal rod and swung at me and another car out in Strathcona.
3:14 ICBC should charge a massive extra fee just for Amazon vans
3:40 Had some senior pull this on me a couple years back
Arrest that man!
Oh also about the Amazon van most (if not all) have insurance through a private insurance company so I don't think it effects ICBC too much
@@vancouversworstdrivers Should stack enough fees on them anyway it pays for the rest of us
Well done.
Thanks for watching!
when the yellow light, left turn crashes happen, its almost always the driver going straight's fault. You see a yellow going straight, you stop if you can, and if cars are turning you definitely stop. Turning left on a late yellow is tolerated, and accepted behaviour, because they can be in the middle of the intersection when the light is green, and then it can turn yellow, and then even red befoer they are able to move, there is no way for people to avoid that situation. Being in the interesection going straight when the light is yellow or red is completely due to the fact you chose to go late. Always stop for yellows when people are turning left.
Agreed however ICBC usually assigns fault to the person turning because you're supposed to wait until it's safe to turn (even if someone is running a red light). I think it was a way for ICBC to assign fault easier before dashcams....so with so many dashcams on the road now I wonder if it changes if they have video evidence. Thanks for watching
salute to the squirrel !
The clip at 7:43 sometimes there are drivers doing u turn in that spot even though there is a sign saying don’t do a u turn
Even the sign won't stop them! Thanks for watching
These compilations make it really hard to not be racist sometimes
Highest cost of living, lowest average IQ...
Have a great labor day long weekend guys! Stay safe!
You as well!
5:28. Cammer was supposed to turn into the first lane regardless of whether they wanted to turn into a business after the turn. Not the cop's problem. 🤷♂️
It depends on the law and the specific situation. I had a clip just like that in video #53 where a driver in a purple car cuts me off when I'm turning left into the far lane. In some jurisdictions (like in California) it's permissible to finish a left turn into any available lane. Now of course, other jurisdictions don't allow that. I also had a green left arrow which means the guy in the purple car was facing a red light and was required to yield to me. It looked to me like the cammer in this video also had a green left arrow. It's flashing though, so I don't know what that means. We don't have flashing green lights where I live. Perhaps the cop was wrong, perhaps he wasn't. But that will depend what the law is in B.C. about left turns.
It's hard to tell but that actually looks like a single lane to me that's very wide. I could be wrong. Thanks for watching!
If the jaywalkers are asking for, then give it to them.
6:34 Who tf does that?
Right?!
7:27, no it’s not a crash! But it looks like it’s almost a rear ended, but pretty close and a close call to that one! The white car didn’t use his signal for it to get in the lane and noticed another car in the lane that the white car wants, and then the white car swerved right back in the original lane the white car was on! So, no crash for that one.
"who does this stuff" haha, not at all surprising driving down East Hastings. 01:03
DTES says it all
Agreed. It's a war zone down there
How they driving in white rock these days? Haven’t been there in a while. Probably still older people hitting peoples cars and not even realizing like my grandpa
I've actually only been out that way a couple of times. Not too bad from my experience (knock on wood)
0:43, the man in that video should know better about crossing the crosswalk. Just because you’re walking on a red hand on a red light, doesn’t mean you throw your backpack at other drivers for no reason to let him cross the street!
1:14, I think it’s the new driver’s fault because he cut off Kelcan in Vancouver, and then he takes off! The newbie is at fault from this hit and run not Kelcan! Hopefully the newbie loses his licence, fined, and arrested!
Also, the newbie put his signal on a little bit late!
2:12 its a Karen
Well the ICBC manager wants to talk to her haha
BC's NO FAULT ICBC insurance gives license to drive irresponsibley.
nice
Make a driving scdhool called worst drivers school
If you jaywalkers who don’t walk on the sidewalk, don’t let them cross at all because it’s the jaywalkers own fault for putting themselves in danger, and they are so wishy washy!
you should advertise this to uber drivers.
Hyundai drivers are the new bmw drivers!!!!!
Hey now I drive a Hyundai :p
This is what happens when you legalize drugs and have a revolving door of crime. No consequences to actions means people will continue to do those actions and also do worse and worse crimes.
Vancouver has gone downhill for sure
You guys can’t pass all blame on “New Canadians” for this one like you’re good at. As the evidence is right there! 2:15 is one example and all the rest. My gosh look how fast she’s working on getting away. She’s not new to hit and runs for sure. Proceed on passing blame.
When do I pass blame to "new Canadians" I've never said that in any video
@@vancouversworstdrivers I’m not talking about you, if you read the comments most people keep saying it’s Asians and immigrants that are the problem which I find is offensive, so I’m pointing out that it’s everybody not just one group
@@z.harrison3581 oh good haha
