watching my dad almost fall out of his new corvette was something ill always remember.
Hah its a VERY low car and can be tough to get into
In 4 or 5 years i will move to USA and buy a C6. I will make that happen
Update : 3 years have passed, and I faced ALOT of obstacles on my plan to immigrate to the USA. But, im actually moving to another country thats pretty close to the states in a month! Once i get settled there and save up some money the US plan is gonna come true. I think the "4 or 5 years" that I originally mentioned is gonna be pretty accurate!

I have 1998 C5 that I daily drove for 2 and half years. I agree with everything u said. My C5 has been extremely reliable in the 6 years I've owned it. I do all my own work/maintenance and these cars really arent bad to work on. I daily drive an 09 Silverado now which is better for room/comfort but the C5 is wayyy more fun.

I was a Camaro (Still am) fan. I had a 1999 Camaro Base, 2014 Camaro RS and then 2019 Camaro 2SS. I was told “Once you get Corvette. You’ll never wanna get something else.” That was coming from a Mustang-Corvette and Camaro-Corvette owners. Good friends of mine. Is it true?? Idk lol I’ll find out soon. I love this video. good stuff with going over the pros and cons of this car. My coworker is a super Mopar guy and goes on and on about the possibilities so its kinda rubbing off on me so i been window shopping Z06's since theyre something different.
Glad you enjoyed the video! I think the biggest factor is the value you get. No car really compares to the Z06 in terms of speed and coolness for the price. Plus, it probably won’t depreciate as much as some other vehicles in the muscle car class

Actually having a Corvette Z06 just sitting in the garage and being able to access it's use at anytime of day or night is the fun factor. I tend to disagree a tad on the mileage, they do depreciate quite a bit if you have many miles on them, say 60K vs 20K, obviously the year is also a factor and condition, but let's just say both in excellent condition, same year say 2007, one will go for 36K dollars and the other for about 30K dollars. Roughly a little over 1K dollars for every 10K miles. The main thing about this car that is somewhat worrisome is the valve guides degradation, in which the 2006-2013 had the LS7 engines, but GM has narrowed it down to models affected to the 2008-2011, less than 1300 units have had this problem. Definitely the best bang for the buck, very close to super car territory for a fraction of the cost.....it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive.That's why I bought one!
For the age, it's also.a daily driver also. I have an older model Buick Lucerne with only 54K. I want a low mileage C6 Grand sport. Both would share in those duties. Work is only a mile away, my second gig twice a week only 10 miles. I would definitely win.
two questions: Have you had troubles with warning signals? Like "check brake fluid", "service rear end" or if the handle brake sign stays in in the cluster?

Own a 2012 Mustang GT & it’s the only fast car I’ve ever driven :/ since seeing your Z06 review I’ve decided I need to start saving for a C6 Z06... I’m gonna enjoy the mustang for now while simultaneously saving up for the C6 Z06 then sell the GT once I have enough

Just bought a c5 z06 for $15k with 100k miles! There are only minor differences in my opinion between the base c6 and c5z
i get 32-29mpg hwy after k&n intake install on my 07z.
Wow that’s great, as long as you don’t drive crazy you can get a pretty solid gas milage out of these cars

No this is stock ride hight, I’ve considered a 1inch lower but once you lower these cars they do start to become much harder to drive with potholes and driveways and such
If i were to use winter tires, would it still be not possible to drive it during the winter ?
I’ll say I’ve never put winter tires in this so I can’t say for sure, but based on my experience with it I highly doubt it. I’ve gotten stuck in my own driveway a few times in the winter just pulling it out the garage.
If you are going to spend the money on a vette it’s absolutely worth while to spend 2k on a winter beater
@@CaylebPletos hmm... might get an gt86, because it has slightly higher clearance, its cheaper and the corvette i was looking at had a crash at USA and the front+passanger door was damaged... it might be salvaged...

Just put some snow tires on it and it will drive in the snow like any other car, this con makes no sense (I live in Canada btw)
People that hate on the seats and interior are crazy as fuck man. I love my z06’s seats and interior. I’ve also had a buncha f bodies and two terminator cobras and a c5 and c4 so to meat it was all nice. People hating on the interior and seats are jealous and can’t afford a badass z06 love the car. Love that color. Mine was victory red.

It’s about 1-2K to fix it and worth the extra research. But the grand sport is also an amazing car too. You can’t go wrong with either really but if you plan to get a z06 just be prepared to pay to get it changed. Glad you like the channel 😄

Yeah I’d have one in the garage for what I said but I would also have a Silverado because welp trucks are more roomy and you still got a V8
