I am seventy five years old and took delivery of my twentieth new (2018) corvette yesterday. Base coupe LT2 suits my wants for an aged driver. First vette was 1960 and I cant describe the difference in the 2018 except, hold onto your hats. Keep up the great work my friend.

I owned the 40th anniversary 1993 with 305 HP. I could handle that car well. I now own a 2016 Stingray LT3 Manual and WOW! Scary fast. It took me a few months to get confident with the speed. Wicked Speed compared to 1993 vette. Can't imagine the difference from the 1960 vette!
Great video! I just purchased my first Corvette ever. Always had Trans ams, and recently a 2010 and 2016 camaro. I picked up a 2019 stingray 10 days ago and LOVE IT.

How do those pads wear vs the stock ones? Have you noticed a difference in performance on the track? I had to change my front pads and rotors at 3k miles, primarily from about 4 hours of HPDE and am looking for something that will give me more track days.
I have had them on now for about 9K miles and no issues. I have only tracked it hard twice but the breaks held up really well. My next vette will have the Z07 package because carbon ceramic breaks and rotors were made for that kind tracking.
Hey Corvettes 918! I love the 5th point you made, which is to drive your car whenever you can. Im from Canada and we get a handful of months in which we can actually drive them so we have to make every chance count. Too often I talk to people that will only take their car out when its going to be sunny with 0 chance of rain. It makes me ask why even buy the car if you're never going to truly enjoy it. Anyways great channel and even better car it looks like an absolute work of art. Cheers!

I've had to Corvettes both C6 and don't have a Corvette at all right now planning on getting one next year but wow... I have a black on black 2008 zo6 was changed to automatic , had a accident and can’t do the manual , a lot of mods to the car , 150 shot of nitrous as well , love all you do Chuck !
Love your videos. I just received my all blacked out 2016 ZO6 from the Chevy Dude in Louisville. The same car you have fully optioned with the 3LZ pkg and the 3LZ Premium Pkg. The car is 26 mos. old and only has 670 miles on it. The original sport cup 2 tires were already changed to the sport cup. The car is also paint corrected with Ceramic Pro 9H.

New to the channel! Its crazy how infatuated i am with the C7 and it scares me because i dont even know if ill be able to afford the Grandsport, let alone fit in one lol (6'4"). Currently studying my ass off to get into the air force and land a job i want (electrical engineer) so i can afford the things i dream about.

If you have any doubts, Cleetus McFarland on youtube has a C7. Im not sure how tall he is, but he fit in it, but wanted more room so got a aftermarket seat and fits better

I put the Warner Thermal Quad pads on my C5 when I got it. Even after 1200 miles of HARD running in the Black Hills, the dust isn't even noticeable on your finger when you wipe the wheel barrel. They are amazing for my car and where I run it. I also run the Escort Redline. Great video!

The Ceramic coating on black looks just crazy wet. The videos and pictures I post on Instagram do this car very little justice. I does help on swirls. You will still get some scratches from time to time but I have no swirls from washing and drying etc:

All radar detectors are a complete waste of money. I owned an electronic store in lower Manhattan. I tried every radar detected known to man. I was driving to Maryland my radar detector never went off and I got pulled over. I asked the officer how they were able to gauge my speed ? He showed me that they had a quarter mile painted on the highway and if they noticed somebody moving faster then the rate of traffic they would use a stopwatch and a chart. That would tell them how fast I was going. I never bothered with them after that day. They also do the same thing from the air when I was in Florida. Experienced the same situation, I was clocked going through the quarter mile.

Good info , have 2006 Artic White/ Black vert. Red interior, z51, auto paddle. Only mod has deem Borla Attack really love the sound. Bought in 07 with 5000 pin clock now have 29000.

Just getting my 18 Z06 coupe. Previously had a 2010 ZR1 and a heads and cam base C5. Fun cars. Spent a few days tracking Stingrays a while back and that was a blast, too. First serious performance mod considered for most would be a good driving school. Even if you're not going to track your car, learning on a track from experienced pros never hurts. Well, it hurts ego at first but that goes away.lol
Brand new to the channel, your honestly great, unlike other car channels, you are honest, and that’s rare to see nowadays... should have more subs, also I’d suggest looking into color filters to make the cinematography look even better ;)

I love the intro and al the black mamba is shining as always.. cold air intake is the best mod you've made also the upgrading the brimdo brakes man that picture of the GS is so dusty. Have you ever tried to wash the Engine is it something you recommend to do ? If yes I hope you could vlog about washing engine.. can't wait to next Saturday's vlog!! Have a good weekend bud!!
I have never washed the engine bay but doing so won't hurt anything. Thats a big meath that you should never do that. Guys do it all the time. When my gets dirty will defiantly make a vlog about it. I am an Audi TT owner and I recently had a Corvette C7 for a weekend... and since then I am really into it :) I dont know if I will ever be able to afford one, but it is definitely a dream. I am in Germany where there are no speed limits on motorways. I was able to push the C7 to 290km/h. Nice. I wouldnt get such a car in a country where it is not legal to do that except on a race track. But anyway, I like your car and some of the tips you gave there might also be applicable to other cars like my TT. All the best to you, I'll keep on dreaming about a C7 :)

I agree, The tint should be number 5 on my list but wanted to push the point to get out and drive. 😎 The Crome lug nuts for sure on black wheels have to go pretty early in the process. 👍

I have a black on black 2008 zo6 was changed to automatic , had a accident and can’t do the manual , a lot of mods to the car , 150 shot of nitrous as well , love all you do Chuck !
Love your videos. I just received my all blacked out 2016 ZO6 from the Chevy Dude in Louisville. The same car you have fully optioned with the 3LZ pkg and the 3LZ Premium Pkg. The car is 26 mos. old and only has 670 miles on it. The original sport cup 2 tires were already changed to the sport cup. The car is also paint corrected with Ceramic Pro 9H.

New to the channel! Its crazy how infatuated i am with the C7 and it scares me because i dont even know if ill be able to afford the Grandsport, let alone fit in one lol (6'4"). Currently studying my ass off to get into the air force and land a job i want (electrical engineer) so i can afford the things i dream about.

Air force Officer here, (Also 6'4") just bought a C7 z51 last week ('14) and I fit in quite nicely!
If you have any doubts, Cleetus McFarland on youtube has a C7. Im not sure how tall he is, but he fit in it, but wanted more room so got a aftermarket seat and fits better

I put the Warner Thermal Quad pads on my C5 when I got it. Even after 1200 miles of HARD running in the Black Hills, the dust isn't even noticeable on your finger when you wipe the wheel barrel. They are amazing for my car and where I run it. I also run the Escort Redline. Great video!

The Ceramic coating on black looks just crazy wet. The videos and pictures I post on Instagram do this car very little justice. I does help on swirls. You will still get some scratches from time to time but I have no swirls from washing and drying etc:

Broken Arrow resident here. Great to see an awesome corvette channel coming out of the local area!
All radar detectors are a complete waste of money. I owned an electronic store in lower Manhattan. I tried every radar detected known to man. I was driving to Maryland my radar detector never went off and I got pulled over. I asked the officer how they were able to gauge my speed ? He showed me that they had a quarter mile painted on the highway and if they noticed somebody moving faster then the rate of traffic they would use a stopwatch and a chart. That would tell them how fast I was going. I never bothered with them after that day. They also do the same thing from the air when I was in Florida. Experienced the same situation, I was clocked going through the quarter mile.

Good info , have 2006 Artic White/ Black vert. Red interior, z51, auto paddle. Only mod has deem Borla Attack really love the sound. Bought in 07 with 5000 pin clock now have 29000.

Just getting my 18 Z06 coupe. Previously had a 2010 ZR1 and a heads and cam base C5. Fun cars. Spent a few days tracking Stingrays a while back and that was a blast, too.
First serious performance mod considered for most would be a good driving school. Even if you're not going to track your car, learning on a track from experienced pros never hurts. Well, it hurts ego at first but that goes away.lol
Brand new to the channel, your honestly great, unlike other car channels, you are honest, and that’s rare to see nowadays... should have more subs, also I’d suggest looking into color filters to make the cinematography look even better ;)

Have you ever tried to wash the Engine is it something you recommend to do ? If yes I hope you could vlog about washing engine..

I have never washed the engine bay but doing so won't hurt anything. Thats a big meath that you should never do that. Guys do it all the time. When my gets dirty will defiantly make a vlog about it. I am an Audi TT owner and I recently had a Corvette C7 for a weekend... and since then I am really into it :) I dont know if I will ever be able to afford one, but it is definitely a dream. I am in Germany where there are no speed limits on motorways. I was able to push the C7 to 290km/h. Nice. I wouldnt get such a car in a country where it is not legal to do that except on a race track. But anyway, I like your car and some of the tips you gave there might also be applicable to other cars like my TT. All the best to you, I'll keep on dreaming about a C7 :)
