Mmmmm, maybe it's just my "being chronically chained to the internet for 20+ years" but these were pretty weak examples of "disturbing MMOs". I don't think any MMO is truly free of pdf files, or people who are out to just spread viruses and malware, but nothing in this video was disturbing to the point where I went "wow". Needless to say I think the most "disturbing" one was the deer one tbh lol.
Do words like pedophile actually have to be censored on youtube, or is it people being funny? I know a lot of people find ways around to saying suicide which sometimes ends up feeling disrespectful or making light of a tragedy, but I don't know if it's actually banned?
@@adhdasdfroflxd123 Yeah YT will automatically restrict language referencing them due to mainstream media saying YT is a haven for those people. Especially since some of their golden boys in the past have turned out to be such in the past. I loved the endless forest as a kid, it took me ages to decide on what symbol (your name) I wanted, then I had to wait an IRL month (iirc) to become an adult deer, and then I finally got a new mask so I could hide that scary human face. Shame I do not still have the account.
Second Life is full of crazy people. A surprising amount of them being senior citizens. Some of the funniest videos I've watched were from Second Life, though, because it takes next to nothing to make people angry in that game.
Hahaha yea, the YT'ers who troll second life players are hilarious, it doesn't take much to make the SL players go into an unhinged frenzy because they treat second life like it's a serious world, it's so funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂
my only experience in that game was from near its launch, I was trying to learn how to make objects and code their physics and such, and I accidentally made what I still think of as a "doom Sphere" which was just a basic sphere that sped off in to the world out of my control and started destroying peoples houses and such if they had collisions turned on. I never figured out how to get control of it again and felt so bad about it I quit. Still makes me laugh thinking about it to this day.
@@JonnyCrackers It's rare for it to actually cause damage from something like that since most people don't use physics on their buildings and if they do, they should really reconsider for many reasons lol. However, most vehicles and boats would be affected. Luckily it's not infinite because it'll eventually hit a zero second orb and be sent to the owner's lost and found.
So Second Life isn't a kid's game, it is intended to be played by adults which is why it has a lot of adult themes, also it's not actually free, in order to do pretty much anything you have to pay but luckily it is pay as you go and not subscription based, the subscription just gives you some extra things that aren't important, you can also make money in the game and withdraw it into your bank account, the most common ways of making money are from adult services, selling clothes you've made, selling furniture you've made, landscaping for people, real estate or being a DJ like me. As for the world size the answer is infinite and there is literally something for everybody since Second Life literally is the metaverse and at one point had big companies and even governments involved in it with their own presence in the world (You are fully capable of walking around London in the game)
@@angelb.3692precisely that, although Second Life has a lot of user made addons that make it more than roleplay by allowing Bluetooth toys to be connected to it
@@angelb.3692 Pretty much but there's a lot of animations created by folks for doing it along with all the parts necessary. But that's not where the adult workers make their money, the ones that actually make an amount worthwhile are practically cam girls but with extra steps.
Please don’t defend second life. Lmao. I’m 25 rn, always hopped on and on to see what it was like and if I was just having a fever dream. Shit is an EYE sore. No direction, everything is so out of place and wonky. Though, I did hop on and have a karaoke session with a bunch of random people and that was actually super awesome and fun.
@@Theystolemyhandle Like anything else in life, you get what you put into it. Yes, it's chaotic, obtuse, and a spaghetti mess of 21 years of content but once you kinda figure out what's going on in SL, it can be a very rewarding experience unlike anything else. Just one example, as a consequence of having a large contiguous continental mainland with oceans connecting them alongside a robust wind physics system, realistic sailing came about from some very smart passionate folks almost 2 decades ago; fast forward to today, the sailing scene is extremely robust and is one of the most realistic sailing physics simulators ever made.
I love how everyone that isnt asian gets creeped out by being asked your blood type by someone that is asian at some point. When I was stationed over there in japan, I wasnt in the country but a couple of weeks and 2 girls started talking to me in english out of nowhere which is out of character for Japanese people generally, then one asked my blood type and I honestly, genuinely thought they were going to drug me and harvest my organs. I lied and said B when it's actually A because I was thinking I SHOULD lie, but then I just realized that was stupid! Most asian people have type B blood! Im encouraging them!
I didn't know this until watching this video & now I'm going to look up my blood type lol. I'm not superstitious I just find things like that entertaining.
I've been messing around with the Endless Forest for nearly 20 years. When it was new and had tons of people running around, maaaan that was just a great time. Also, we were able to use the game as a screensaver, so it was just real chill. Run around the forest, then just leave it to become a screensaver and turn your speakers up a bit while you sleep.
@@sawmanUK Haha I honestly don't remember that happening. I also don't actually remember if we had to keep the game on, or if we had to change to the Endless Forest screen saver in our settings to let it play.
@@Sk1ndredd More to it than that. It was the first "MMO" that used a completely unique communication style. Different combinations of emotes at specific PoIs would transform your deer. So you wouldn't always remain this tiny human-faced fawn. So people were always running around to see what kind of stuff they can turn into. It was just chill.
as a long time player of HKO back in the beginning I can firmly say that feature was not present in the EU or SEA servers, wether it was present on the Japanese servers or not I am not aware of but the Europe and South East Asian servers did not have this feature. I put well over 5000 hours into the game across both servers and was given the role of guild treasurer and Farmer of one of the larger guilds in the EU servers, ultimately HKO collapsed as the devs stopped caring, multipule bugs and game breaking glitches in the upper level areas and many broken features lead to it failure, the lack of caring also aflicted the SanrioTown Email service that was linked with the game (you needed a ST account to play) eventually no support was provided if there was any service failures and may god have mercy on your soul if you forgot your email password Ultimately HKO was a great idea bought to life by people who couldnt care less
Secondlife is the best game ever, it's better then vrchat and has more avatar customization, also there tons of worlds to explore so you can find your favorite type of people to hangout with, such as goth, anime, furry, fantasy ect, i understand some people may not like Secondlife but that doesn't make it "a bad game" trust me Secondlife is amazing if you give it a chance and find the right sim for you, i play secondlife in my free time and love the new anime outfits i make, one more thing you can avoid the spicy sims by turning off adult sims and mature sims in the settings, i do it all the time and mostly explore in the wholesome sims lol xD
I see where you are coming from , I think it’s just a case that my first player experience wasn’t the best and news wise , second life has had a lot controversy over the years
@sawmanUK ah yes I do agree, much like vrchat they need to work on their safety but thankfully they are handling it unlike vrchat, it better that they are working on fixing the issue then not doing anything, again I avoid all that craziness by exploring the wholesome sims only lol xD
fun(?) fact, second life used to have a server for older kids + teenagers. i used to play on it when i was 10 and had a lot of fun on it (mostly because i was a 10 year old with no filter or social awareness so i talk talk to anyone and say anything without a shred of shame or embarrassment). even on the teen server there were risque elements, of course you wouldn't walk around and see overt s3x shops on the streets and nsfw avatars hanging out but i came across tons of pose spheres that were for making out and cuddling, and sometimes tucked away in certain locations (usually player houses which were usually open for all to enter) full on nsfw animations. i didn't interact with any of that stuff since i was a 10 year old, but i always felt creeped out when i would find them. i always got the impression that there were a lot of adults around, and now that i'm older i know that this was indeed the case seeing as how most if not all player made assets were made by adults, and all the people who had land and homes were more often than not adults too. me and my friends got scolded by a literal grown adult real estate agent for loitering on their land and rping far in the sky above their island. it was always really easy to tell who was another kid and who was an adult based on how they talked and interacted with me. we were all told that it was a space for kids and teens to meet and have fun, but everything we interacted with was built by adults looking to profit off of us and exploit us i mostly just played with a few other kids i befriended in-game, people who i would probably still be friends with now if the server didn't get shut down so fast and unexpectedly. kinda makes me wonder if there was more to it shutting down than it just not being profitable enough
Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk apparently I didn't do enough research as this is a bit of information that SHOULD of been in the video Lol Thanks for enlightening us and adding to the second life lore
@@sawmanUK Mhmm! SL tried to split everything into general, moderate, and adult content earlier on. And you still see those content warnings around, but they're sort of vestigial in the current version of Second Life. I always assumed that they had trouble keeping Second Life sfw, so they eventually just gave up and decided to only cater to adults. And... yeah... Second Life's economy is entirely player driven, and some players only play for the potential of making money off of other users and otherwise don't really "play" the game. Landlords are especially prone to that, and some landlords rent out to other landlords. Its landlords all the way down, and its prooobably the biggest issue I have with SL's economy.
second life is very strange and very depraved. I used to play it a lot, but I can only take it in very small doses nowadays. it's non-vr vrchat but with astronomically less groomers. Technically no limit to what you can do or make, but that obviously will attract some undesirables. The ageplay people are degens and largely shunned by the community as a whole, but thankfully they're all just weird adults RPing with each other and don't involve any actual children. That being said, did you know what some of the Lindens (developers) *themselves* have been outed as prolific ageplayers? Was a huge fiasco. Wild stuff Also I think it's funny how you managed to stumble into the slmc (the combat guys with guns) community during your first session.
Also Dullahan Host isn't a virus... It's for streaming flash videos. It asked for permission because you were walking through a residential neighborhood, and people are watching videos on their televisions.
As far as Second Life goes, when you go to a club you're going to be greeted by a host, DJ, and probably dancers all trying to make money off tips. They're going to be personable and greet you, but yes many come off as bots (there's only so many ways to welcome someone to a club). I was a very successful host for a year or so, I know how it is. If you choose to go into adult, or even moderate, areas you're going to get what you would expect to see in those areas. If you go for something specific, that's what you'll end up finding. For now, I'm doing a lot of farming, raising pets (there are some really cool pet/breedables in there) as well as building on my little plot of land. Also, you have to keep in mind that the majority of Second Life's playerbase has some social disorders, or other disorders, that may prevent them from interacting with the real world like everyone else and it really is their first life to be on there, experiencing things they can't in real life. It may also be the only social interaction they're able to have. I've made some lasting friendships in there with people so it's a fun experience for me. I've also been in some uncomfortable situations, or things that I would consider wrong. It's a good thing to leave all I have to do is teleport out and not go back to that sim.
Second Life is probably not your cup of tea, but there's one thing you mainly need to know about second life. There's the mainland, which is basically the "curateD" areas of second life, either officially put together by Lindon Labs themselves, or made by community members with moderation. For the most part, that stuff is rather tame, even what you discussed in your video. (save for the cheese pizza stuff of course, honestly that stuff is unavoidable right now anywhere there is a social media presence; twitter, discord, second life, etc). The majority of the content in second life that has people playing it takes place in regions/sims bought by players, on islands, that you need a teleport link to get to. They are basically entirely hands off and as long as the people running them don't break any laws or allow people visiting to breaks laws, they can do whatever the hell they want with them. Some of the games and rpg's are actually VERY well made (there's even a dead by daylight inspired game on SL!) But also a lot of fetishy content.
Went to two different church services yesterday in Second Life. The first one maxed out at 101 people. Most showed up real early to get in and the sermon was live and really uplifting. Never got those pop ups so that was a bit odd to see. Second life is what you make of it just like RL. Just turn off the adult content. The live DJs are awesome and a great way to keep up on new music.
What is really fun is that back in I think around 2014 I attended several work-related business meetings for a at the top of Fortune 500 list company inside Second Life.
Second life is actually a curious case because it's not a game properly saying but a virtual world where the devs offers the landscape and about 99% of the content is created by the users and as you can imagine there's a lot of stupid ideas brought in. Yes it is considered adult for that reason and for what i know it had a "teen" version of it long ago but it was taken down due to several complications and lack of income (teenagers without money? who would predict that?) Still some people seems to make a living with it since you can design 3d models among other things and upload them to sell but the most curious is that the system itself allow you to withdraw your currency and deposit it directly in your bank account after conversions fees and apparently one person even became rich by investing in land. Weird, yes but somehow i don't see it as harmful... i guess I just saw what seems to be the average age of the users and apparently is 60 and above
Teen servers were probably taken down because of massive griefing by the teens themselves and other problems related to behaviour, this was actually the rumour going around at the time!
For Second Life, the reason they started to clamp down on ageplay only this year is because it was revealed that Eric Nix (also known as Patch Linden in the game), one of the company's vice presidents, was deeply involved in the ageplay community, even hosting real life PDF file content in his personal worlds in the game and had groomed his now real life husband from the game when he was still a minor. Linden Lab (the creators) attempted to cover it up, and still has him employed in the company. This revelation and the company's lack of action against him caused a massive drop in player population, which is a big reason why it is so dead today.
Second Life is definitely an interesting case of a game that kept evolving. The current new player experience is at least better than older versions, but the avatar system it introduces is kinda bad (compared to off the shelf, purchased avatars that most people use). Many people will also appear naked because it takes a second for clothing bits and all that to load in. What is great however, is that the world is entirely created by the users. Avatars, worlds, mechanics, etc. Definitely a game for adults, however. Quite a lot of people you'll run into are well past 'millenial' age demographic even. Any and all controversies about weird sexual fetishes are all within their own respective communities, regardless of participation in SL. Also, it's a social MMO. The content is your interaction with other people....
For the deer game: I played it long ago. The symbols above your head are your nametag. It's a symbol. The music only plays when dancing :). There's hidden secrets like you discovered such as the water turning you into a frog. You can get the squirrel form elsewhere if i recall correctly, they were just showing off :).
LOL this was so interesting!! I hope you make more on strange old games! I think you found the weird side of Second life LOL, because if you are a creator you can make a lot of money in it which you can withdraw into real money, but yes the Roleplayers ARE CREEPY and you didn't even visit the vampire sims, oh boy LOL!
I dunno if you plan on talking about it, but from what i remember, worlds creator dropped a license for the concept of " live chat online 3d game " kinda thing, and made a ton of moneys out of it until quite recently by sueing big mmo compagnies. Cant back that up for sure but something on that line !
The pressure! I did make it to the part of the video where the obligatory, "Subscribe. You made it this far." Pressure sale tactic is used. I had honestly forgotten about it and hadn't contemplated subbing until it was brought to my attention by the guy narrating. I was just enjoying the content. Lost in my world and the world of this video where he's digging into the MMO world. I was levels deep and time was different. Now ripped back to reality I realized that I hadn't figured out if I was going to sub! The pressure was too much, so sudden, and it blinded me. I couldn't recall if I had really enjoyed the video or not. I screamed to be free of the pressure! It was relentless and I knew a choice had to be made. There was no way around it now. Even if I choose to not choose I have still made a choice. The fucking narrator had made sure of that. Now, here I am.
You just didn't go to the right places in Second Life or find the particular club that vibed with you and your style of music, and right about now all the Halloween things should be happening, and the particular type of age play you mentioned is highly against TOS an you'll lose your account for engaging in such a thing and the ones who play as kids do so quite innocently and will actually turn in grown up perverts and report them, at least that's how it was when I was on there , but I not been on there in years, so not sure what's happening now.
it's really sad to see what Second Life has devolved into. it was an amazing social game where you were able to actually have a "second life" being able to earn actual money and i guess it died as soon as VR chat happened.
If you enjoy making these videos about old, dead or unheard of MMOs, check out A Tale in the Desert, Horizons (Or I think it's called Istaria now? I'm not super sure), Shadowbane (Not sure if there is a free emulation server out there, but I don't know if the game actually still running somewhere)
A hen party is an old fashioned term used by men mostly to describe a small group of women who meet for coffee, participate in a hobby group like, knitting, quilting, to celebrate an engagement, birthday, new job etc. It is so named because of the talking that takes place. If you have ever seen a group of chickens in the barnyard, the cluck, cluck, clucking occurs for no reason (known to the average human), almost non-stop. I always felt the term hen party was a derogatory description meaning the female talk was of no importance. Hens cluck a lot while egg laying and in times of stress. The larger the eggs, the harder they are to pass and it is not unreasonable to imagine that it hurts the chicken.
That phrase is very well known where I'm from and refers to what an American would call a "bachelorette party". Sometimes it might be called a "hen night" instead, and is the bride's equivalent of what we'd call a "stag party"; In each case both the hen and stag are engendered terms for chicken and deer, and it's not uncommon to hear the greeting "y'alright hen?" Though the slight pejorative element does exist - you'll mostly hear that greeting from older men - I've never in my fifty years heard it described in the way you have here, and indeed the bride herself will refer to it as her "hen do", "hen party", or "hen night". Where did you get your definition from?
@@rossstewart9475 I lived out in the sticks for a while. There seemed to be hundreds of crows. I love to observe things and so became fascinated by them. I saw them do a great many things that impressed me. One of the coolest things I noticed was that crows have their own fight club. I never quite figured out why, but I developed a few potential theories. Many times over the years I was drawn to my observation post by an upper story window by the aggressive chattering and squawking of crows and the beating of their wings. The crows would form a ring, their wings splayed out and two contestants would enter and do battle. It was a sight to see. The noise was incredible. Feathers would be ruffled, pride would be bruised, but I never saw any true injuries. The two combatants would tire and two more would leap into the cackling, hostile ring. This would sometimes go on for hours if nothing disturbed them and then off they'd go, back to the trees, leaving nothing but silence, feathers, and poo.
if you do a part 2, could you dedicate a section to Resonite? or could you check it out on its own sometime? it's not very disturbing, unless you're in a private world which is to be expected it's the internet. I think it's a really cool platform though.
The Endless Forest sounds a lot like Meadow, which you can play right now on Steam. I have it and it can be a blast if you manage to find other people to roam around with, but it's not for everyone.
I watched a video which claimed that the owner of Worlds held a vague patent on 3D virtual spaces. And they would use that patent to sue games for infringement. But they could only claim the patent if it were still in use. So that’s why the owner has kept the game going all this time. Maybe the patent ran out or something.
I wonder if you came across any of my items on the Second Life marketplace... I think most of the SL marketplace is filled by shops that are equivalent to dropshippers these days, and a lot of them are only there to make a profit. But it was originally seen as a way for users to make their own content, and be compensated for it. I still sometimes try to support the artists I like, but it can be hard to tell who is making their own content and who is importing 3D models from their favorite games.
i had a class in high school about games and virtual worlds, i dont remember what we did in class, my english teacher ran the class, we played Myst and other titles, but the main thing we did was second life, and learned about that, we had our own server to mess around in, and we had to create things within the world for class projects and shit, it was pretty cool at the time, she also told us about the other servers and how raunchy they can get it, this was forever ago, i am now 31 lol
The way I laughed when you brought up Second Life. As someone who was on it WAY too young (and was introduced to the full on furry community with a lot of smexual content.) It's a wild game with awful controls but lots of entertainment. 😂 I visit again every couple years to see whats come of it.
Good news about worlds is that it is still being used for patent trolling. All online games in an interactive space have to pay the dude royalties. So it'll be back.
I didn't realize Endless Forest was still running. I never played it myself, but I always saw it on "Top MMO" lists of all time, as well as that weird browser based knight game that was really pointless. I think it had Camelot or Excalibur or something related to King Arthur in the name. No it wasn't Dark Age of Camelot. Yeah, those lists were pretty trash back then.

I've been in and out of Second Life for years now and it's odd in a lot of places but well made in a lot of places as well. It's a tribal wildwest as a whole as each sim has their own set of rules whether they're posted or unsaid but known and the community per sim moderates in, ( I pulled an f-1 Fighter Jet out of a Trashcan full of free stuff in the London Sim and accidentally pulled it out of my pocket, flying into everything without physics and was quietly banned for 2 days because of that. . .) but it's a relaxing experience if you find places to chill that fit your vibe and have people actively talking about stuff, in college I had a handful of sims I'd go to and just talk about stuff with at the end of the day which was relaxing but exploring other sims I found everything from recreations of Pokemon towns to vacant trailer parks full of organs and things. . . But it's how much you are willing to sift through to find something that you like.
I tried to play Second Life. It was advertised as a way for artists to make money online, but I just couldn't get into it. I'd be interested to see you give A Tale in the Desert a go.
Ahh i never played this game as a youth, my time was spent on Fly For Fun, surprisingly it's still going, maybe you could have a little try and see how it feels in 2024 for us :o Pretty sure it got new developers and content, so could be worth a look.

As for the world size the answer is infinite and there is literally something for everybody since Second Life literally is the metaverse and at one point had big companies and even governments involved in it with their own presence in the world (You are fully capable of walking around London in the game)
what exactly do you mean with "Adult services"? in a roleplay kind of way with your avatar?
@frydemwingz Navy?
What if a deer came over and started shouting ?
@@sawmanUK Haha I honestly don't remember that happening. I also don't actually remember if we had to keep the game on, or if we had to change to the Endless Forest screen saver in our settings to let it play.
Why? What is the point of playing? Just walking around making noises.
It was just chill.
this explains all the afk players!
Secondlife started clamping down on Age Play actually in like 2015ish. That wiki was UPDATED last in 2024, that means edits were made.
Nearly killed me when you said "That's more than New World!"
Swolebenji, who would've thought you'd be here haha. The fans need the next Albion video 💛

Hello Kitty Online originally had a video chat function when it first released!!!
It was literally designed for PDFiles to prey on little children.
How did I miss that fact !!! Yikes
Who approved that? Was Diddy a chairman?

as a long time player of HKO back in the beginning I can firmly say that feature was not present in the EU or SEA servers, wether it was present on the Japanese servers or not I am not aware of but the Europe and South East Asian servers did not have this feature.
I put well over 5000 hours into the game across both servers and was given the role of guild treasurer and Farmer of one of the larger guilds in the EU servers, ultimately HKO collapsed as the devs stopped caring, multipule bugs and game breaking glitches in the upper level areas and many broken features lead to it failure, the lack of caring also aflicted the SanrioTown Email service that was linked with the game (you needed a ST account to play) eventually no support was provided if there was any service failures and may god have mercy on your soul if you forgot your email password
Ultimately HKO was a great idea bought to life by people who couldnt care less
I demand a part 2...this was actually really fascinating.
Oh it's going to happen and it might get a lot worse...
You’re on dck. This vid was trash clickbait

Completely agree!
fun(?) fact, second life used to have a server for older kids + teenagers. i used to play on it when i was 10 and had a lot of fun on it (mostly because i was a 10 year old with no filter or social awareness so i talk talk to anyone and say anything without a shred of shame or embarrassment). even on the teen server there were risque elements, of course you wouldn't walk around and see overt s3x shops on the streets and nsfw avatars hanging out but i came across tons of pose spheres that were for making out and cuddling, and sometimes tucked away in certain locations (usually player houses which were usually open for all to enter) full on nsfw animations. i didn't interact with any of that stuff since i was a 10 year old, but i always felt creeped out when i would find them.
i always got the impression that there were a lot of adults around, and now that i'm older i know that this was indeed the case seeing as how most if not all player made assets were made by adults, and all the people who had land and homes were more often than not adults too. me and my friends got scolded by a literal grown adult real estate agent for loitering on their land and rping far in the sky above their island. it was always really easy to tell who was another kid and who was an adult based on how they talked and interacted with me. we were all told that it was a space for kids and teens to meet and have fun, but everything we interacted with was built by adults looking to profit off of us and exploit us
i mostly just played with a few other kids i befriended in-game, people who i would probably still be friends with now if the server didn't get shut down so fast and unexpectedly. kinda makes me wonder if there was more to it shutting down than it just not being profitable enough
That's weird
You sound handsome today
Why thank you ☺️
second life is very strange and very depraved.
Wild stuff
Also I think it's funny how you managed to stumble into the slmc (the combat guys with guns) community during your first session.
Also Dullahan Host isn't a virus... It's for streaming flash videos. It asked for permission because you were walking through a residential neighborhood, and people are watching videos on their televisions.
Love that entropia got it's own video and second life is in a shared video :P
Entropia players rise up... Sorry we are broke we deposited it all haha
@@johnmoss4624I still love playing
@@Cadsickles I appreciate the insight 👍
For Hello Kitty blood type thing, i think that the blood type is something like zodiac signs for japanese people
Yea, which is funny, as I dont even know my blood type!
@@sawmanUK supposedly, each blood type corresponds to certain personality traits. it's called Blood type personality theory
Maybe I need to revisit second life with a guided tour ?
@@sawmanUK my guy, secondlife is a very slow burn xp but in the end it is what you make it....
There's a dead by daylight sim?? I've never seen that. I might give it a go!
Take me back to my childhood. SL was my jam
Or maybe don't have adult content in the first place.
TLDW; too scary, donut watch, I shat myself and am crying.
I want more disturbing games it was interesting.
What is really fun is that back in I think around 2014 I attended several work-related business meetings for a at the top of Fortune 500 list company inside Second Life.
2 guys 1 horse. Still got scars 😂
They don’t understand 😂
More Endless Forest. Endless Forest Forever. Endless Forest into Eternity. Into Infinity Endlessly.
Second life is actually a curious case because it's not a game properly saying but a virtual world where the devs offers the landscape and about 99% of the content is created by the users and as you can imagine there's a lot of stupid ideas brought in. Yes it is considered adult for that reason and for what i know it had a "teen" version of it long ago but it was taken down due to several complications and lack of income (teenagers without money? who would predict that?)
Still some people seems to make a living with it since you can design 3d models among other things and upload them to sell but the most curious is that the system itself allow you to withdraw your currency and deposit it directly in your bank account after conversions fees and apparently one person even became rich by investing in land.
Weird, yes but somehow i don't see it as harmful... i guess
I just saw what seems to be the average age of the users and apparently is 60 and above
I loved the endless forest as a kid! I had to do a double take when I saw the title
your disturbed rating killed me lol

I see you're a man of culture as well.
4:29 ok that emote was weird.
No wonder the other player ran away.
part 2!
Im glad I found this channel, thanks for the content

i actually love how endless forest looks and, just a really interesting atmosphere and concept
Fun video! Totally forgot about Endless Forest. Remember running around in that ages ago.
Secondlife is basically Boomer/GenX Roblox/VRchat
I dunno if you plan on talking about it, but from what i remember, worlds creator dropped a license for the concept of " live chat online 3d game " kinda thing, and made a ton of moneys out of it until quite recently by sueing big mmo compagnies. Cant back that up for sure but something on that line !
Ahh the fable music at the very end was the perfect cherry on top. Brings back memories of the good old days
cool to see 1 jar 1 man in a gaming video. great job bro
How in the hell do you find these games? And Kitty is supreme.
Now, here I am.
for a moment i thought i clicked in a EcksClips video and made a grave mistake
You just didn't go to the right places in Second Life or find the particular club that vibed with you and your style of music, and right about now all the Halloween things should be happening, and the particular type of age play you mentioned is highly against TOS an you'll lose your account for engaging in such a thing and the ones who play as kids do so quite innocently and will actually turn in grown up perverts and report them, at least that's how it was when I was on there , but I not been on there in years, so not sure what's happening now.

8:58 Selecting Blood Type for your Character is super weird for us but is totally normal in Japan. Its a fairly common option for RPGs.
Sometimes it might be called a "hen night" instead, and is the bride's equivalent of what we'd call a "stag party"; In each case both the hen and stag are engendered terms for chicken and deer, and it's not uncommon to hear the greeting "y'alright hen?"
Though the slight pejorative element does exist - you'll mostly hear that greeting from older men - I've never in my fifty years heard it described in the way you have here, and indeed the bride herself will refer to it as her "hen do", "hen party", or "hen night".

The Endless Forest sounds a lot like Meadow, which you can play right now on Steam. I have it and it can be a blast if you manage to find other people to roam around with, but it's not for everyone.
The plural of "deer" is "deer"
That fable remix got me

A bona fide art project.
Similar games with more interactivity include Lif By Game Vial.
I watched a video which claimed that the owner of Worlds held a vague patent on 3D virtual spaces. And they would use that patent to sue games for infringement. But they could only claim the patent if it were still in use. So that’s why the owner has kept the game going all this time. Maybe the patent ran out or something.
Second Life seems hella perverted lol and has no decent social element to it.
It does have voice chat but I didn’t have any decent convos sadly 😹

The antivirus complained probably because Windows does not the developers "signature" key registered with them.
As someone who was on it WAY too young (and was introduced to the full on furry community with a lot of smexual content.)
It's a wild game with awful controls but lots of entertainment. 😂 I visit again every couple years to see whats come of it.
Good news about worlds is that it is still being used for patent trolling. All online games in an interactive space have to pay the dude royalties. So it'll be back.
I did hear that but wasnt sure if it was confirmed. I kinda want to check it out though once its fully back online
Hearing about someone living another life in Second life is PT-SD inducing
