Ruined? I think cold aproach is now better than ever. You have to understand, it is hard to cold aproach, not every men have the courage to do so but until now, they had to. But now, because of instagram and tinder, many men no longer feel the need to aproach women, so they just use dating apps. The competition is now much softer because, if you aproach a girl on the street, she will apreciate your courage and boldness, you will stand out for doing so. About a year or so ago I was a fat dude with a huge gut, tits, etc. had a lot of vices like incessant gaming, porn, depressed, etc, the usual stuff people talk about. After taking diet and working out seriously and seeing improvements, I got noticeably a lot more attention. The funny part is the women showing interest now, I would've loved to date during my fatty-boom-batty phase, as I just wanted to date any girl at the time. Now I've lost some weight, packed on muscle and managed to get some self respect, I'm not even interested and looking to date higher value women xD It really does change your mindset, thoughts about yourself and how you interact with the world - a key to unlocking your full potential. Increasing your SMV really does do wonders for confidence and life enjoyment in general.

I've got a lot bigger chances to get chicks irl than online. I've seen a group of girls be on tinder(in uni class) and they literally swiped only shreded guys. I think the problem around this stuff is the objective. Socializing, dating, texting, filtering, etc. are skills as any others (like lifting or gymnastics). In deed, you can study them and get women way over your level by that and practice. So make this your goals, not getting laid. And by not trying to get laid, you'll get laid more, belive me, that's how women works.
I agree with most of what you say, as someone who also had success in these apps and slept with plenty of girls you end up getting tired of it and realizing it’s just a huge waste of time. You can still be on them, and only have one or two, but just go out and approach girls in person. The apps are just back up and to talk to other girls online.

After, she left, and I realized that after, I geninuely did not feel proud of what I did. Not because of her or what she did, but because I knew it did not really make me happy. Maybe approaching online dating from a different perspective is better. Instead of casual sex you can see if you have chemistry with a woman without sex. If there's none, then no need to do it and damage each other. I was meeting a young 19 year old woman for a whole year who I didn't have sex with. Most we did was make out. In addition she spent a lot of money on me because she invited me on those dates. The reason I refused to have sex with her is because I wasn't fully convinced internally that I can have long term relationship with her due to our different communication, lifestyles and the way we perceived the world.

I think the problem around this stuff is the objective. Socializing, dating, texting, filtering, etc. are skills as any others (like lifting or gymnastics). In deed, you can study them and get women way over your level by that and practice. So make this your goals, not getting laid. I agree with most of what you say, as someone who also had success in these apps and slept with plenty of girls you end up getting tired of it and realizing it’s just a huge waste of time. That being said, I do think it’s something guys will have to experience themselves, and to be fair if you are an incel that has never even kissed a girl there’s probably something wrong with you that you need to fix, so chasing girls for a while maybe a good a idea until you know you can get girls and realize that won’t really make your life that much better and that the only long lasting satisfaction is to work on yourself.
Also having watched the second part pf the video, I absolutely loved it, I can definitely relate to that, once you are getting a decent amount of women with these apps you have to be really careful not to get too confortable and stop improving yourself. You can still be on them, and only have one or two, but just go out and approach girls in person. The apps are just back up and to talk to other girls online.

I totally understand what Hamza is saying. I used to be in that mindset of "Let's hook up with any girl." After years of experience with these apps the net result just was not worth my time or money. And most of the woman I met off these apps were not worth having a family with or already had a child out of wedlock lol. After reading the book, Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport, it inspired me to get off the dating apps and only check IG on my laptop. As men we need to be focused on ourselves and nothing more. Also remember that anything in the digital realm will never equate to reality.
