    Great advice. I found this out myself a few years back after a lot of trial and error. My girlfriend actually told me it was one of the things that separated me from a lot of other guys - I actually showed interest and that I was attracted to her. I see some of my friends who don’t do this end up getting friend zoned again and again. It’s so simple, but a totally necessary ingredient.

      Are there any subtle ways you can show your interest? I’m always worried about making things awkward

    • @user-uz8js5bm9i
      @user-uz8js5bm9i 2 роки тому +27

      @@lewiswilson4083 Hey Lewis, Hamza actually timely released a video that addressed this last week called, “How Young Men Can Stop Acting Creepy” or something along those lines. I agree with pretty much everything he said in that video especially that if you are polarizing by showing interest there will be rejection/awkwardness from some girls which is fine because girls who are interested will be more attracted to you. Also, sometimes girls are the awkward ones. It’s good to have the mindset that there are no hard feelings if things don’t work out, so you don’t become the awkward one. Hamza had an example in that video where he tried to flirt with a girl in his fitness class. She rejected him and rather than make it awkward he replied back with something funny, “Aw you’re breaking my heart. No worries then. I’ll see you next week!”. If you are worried, I would come up with 1 or 2 light hearted responses for your scenario in case there is rejection after showing interest. I think the first and most important step is to resolve in your mind that you are attracted to her and want to show interest. This is like at least 50% of it. A lot of times, guys don’t want to mess it up with the girl and want to play nice, so they don’t commit to showing interest. Making this decision leads to congruency in the little, but important things like eye contact, choice of words, playful touches on the arm and shoulder, etc. Tactically, the easiest and most subtle way to give interest is to give compliments on especially the things they have control over like their outfit, humor, intelligence and so on. Once there are signs of reciprocation of interest, I’ll then ask her to go do something casual, fun and cheap with just the two of you. Let me know if you want me to dive deeper in anything!

      @@user-uz8js5bm9i Not op, still, after I give a compliment and she responds positively, what then? How do you continue from there?

    • @user-uz8js5bm9i
      @user-uz8js5bm9i 2 роки тому +34

      @Bob Bob I look at it like a series of steps with the goal of progressing to the next step and trying to master each step as you go. First step, is getting comfortable complimenting people to make both you and them feel good. Second step, is creating fun conversation. There’s a lot to this, but basically I like observational humor, showing interest by asking questions, and responding to what they answer with something funny or something real from your own experience. I just basically repeat that and “fly fish” with topics to see if they’re interested in anything you’re also interested in. If I feel there’s good chemistry going on, I will go to step three - ask them on a fun cheap date.

It feels nice when you see a self improvement video and actually know what you will do in that situation. I’m also 15, but we have to be patient in improving ourselves. We shouldn’t be *too* drastic, we are still growing after all, as long as what we do doesn’t harm us. For example, we shouldn’t be fasting at this age yet, that will be bad for our nutrition. We can eat literally anything as long as it’s not a lot of sugar or too much sodium or something, whatever we eat except sugar will contribute to our growth since we are young. Aside from a few questionable practices that you have the right to be skeptical of, Hamza truly runs what is probably the most raw and relatively trustworthy self-improvement channel on youtube, it’s based on his experiences after all.

    • @viradeus4322
      @viradeus4322 3 роки тому +6

      @@JellyAntz yeah I also think about the pros and cons of each of hamza's advice before actually doing them. I don't plan on fasting anytime soon(nor do I need to given my body type) but things like meditation and working out is good.
      Also it's good to see another person my age going into self improvement. I found out that a lot of hamza's advice are similar to the teachings of stoicism, a philosophy that helps one cultivate an indifference to bad things. It's helped many people. I'm currently reading into it, I thought it might help you too

    • @JellyAntz
      @JellyAntz 3 роки тому

      @@viradeus4322 I wouldn’t go *too* far into stoicism, but I can incorporate the best aspects I learn about into my lifestyle if I know that it will be good. It’s good to learn from multiple trustworthy “mentors” to see what will suit you well. I don’t meditate, per se, but the closest thing to that for me is just calming down and chilling out in an environment of peace, so that I can make my mind less active and do critical thinking better without being as distracted. It is summer right now, so when the next school year starts, I should try to find a sport I can do. Basketball is the sport that I grew up doing, but I haven’t done any sports or exercise during my freshman year and it will be harder to try out as a sophomore because even my friend who was sometimes the mvp didn’t make the team, but my tall “bully rival” did. So that the tall bully rival doesn’t mess with me, I have to build up myself physically and gain more confidence. He used to be somewhat of a friend, always arrogant, but now he’s like an arrogant “popular” kid with the broccoli haircut. I should also start working out, but I’m not quite sure how to start, and I don’t yet have it in me to do it with my dad’s help, though he works out some days of the week. My sleep schedule is severely messed up too, I sleep in the early morning and wake up from 3-6 pm, so my dad is starting to wake me up early at 11 am, and I should tell him to keep doing that. I got lazy in homework last school year, and I was salutatorian in 8th grade which allowed me to enter my private high school as a scholar with half tuition and I’m in the engineering program, so I gotta step it up this following year. The first semester will have the 4 hardest and unfavorable classes, plus my extra scholar class for philosophy. The second semester will have subjects that I will like more: two engineering classes, chemistry, and modern world history, which are better than the first semester.
      Sorry for typing such a long essay thing, but this also helps me put things into perspective, like journaling while sharing. I don’t “journal”, but I type some interesting thoughts and things I come up with in my Notes on my phone, that’s close enough.

    • @viradeus4322
      @viradeus4322 3 роки тому

      @@JellyAntz I don't mind the long essays, dont worry.
      Out of curiosity, why don't you go fully into stoicism? As I go through more and more self improvement content, so much of it seems to align with stoic ideals. I often think of simply learning and applying stoicism to my life.
      You seem to be pretty smart to get into a private school with a scholarship. Keep up the hard work!
      As for sports, I did tennis during freshman year. I was the second worst on my team. However, once I accepted my shortfallings, I enjoyed tennis a lot more. I joked and messed around with friends, but always tried hard in drills. Im planning on taking starting lessons; I really enjoy the sport!

    Hey Hamza, Can you make a video on how to keep the girl interested? I found one who literally told me she wants to be in a relationship with me but I fear she's gonna lose interest. Videos like yours helped me with the pickup game and flirting but when it comes to keeping them interested in long term I fail.

      Fear of losing her its normal if you love her, just don't let it control your actions, and don't forget to keep developing yourself.

    I have to mention my nofap experience. I used to struggle lots at starting conversation with women. I had no idea what to say to a girl who would approach me at a party or smth. Until my week 3 of nofap. Somehow it all came, i knew what to say. My whole vibe changed it was like magic, I cant even explain. Somehow my brain knew.

      I believe retaining semen does help give you more "drive" so to speak. More drive to try harder, get out of your comfort zone, do harder things etc. I too have experienced it. Maybe it's a placebo idk but it is definatly worth a try. Nofap makes sense to me

    Is it weird that in the addiction recovery scene girls seem extra thirst trappy? 🤔

    I like to polarize women by upsetting her by talking about other women that works to. Women love a bold man that's not scared to lose them.
