I already was in awe of John Bonham, and I saw this clip, What Makes John Bonham Such A Great Drummer? from the channel Polyphonic. My jaw hit the floor, Kashmir is a work of absolute genius. I highly recommend it.
6th grade. Late at night, listening to pop music on WLS a.m. radio out of Chicago before bedtime on my alarm clock radio, and this comes screaming out of the dark between teenage love songs.. Couldn't wait to see if older brother wanted to buy the album together, so I could listen to it on the old man's stereo system.
Yep. WLS and AM radio monaural sound from a cheap speaker couldn't hide how awesome this group was... I'm guessing I'm about 2 years older than you.... I still have my Zeppelin III vinyl!
I snuck the Immigrant Song onto the sound system at my 13 y.o. Grandson’s baseball tournament. They usually play hip hop or rap between innings. The kids loved it. Then, I realized that we were playing a team called the Vikings. Ooops.
Helene here….not hubby pictured. At the beginning of the pandemic, I got hooked on Robert Plant interviews and his podcast Digging Deep. I say this because you mention his speaking voice……which many find beautiful. I certainly do. Contrary to what you might assume, his speaking voice is soothing and calming. I came across many people saying they used his speaking voice to relieve anxiety or get to sleep. Especially as he’s aged, the timbre of his speaking voice has lowered and become richer. I could listen to him read the damn phone book.
The B-side to this 45 record is “Hey Hey what can I Do”…. Never released on ANY ALBUM … only on the B-side to this song. Check it out , it’s a rare classic by LZ!!! ✌🏼❤️
Dogs, Pigs, Sheep (in this order) - Pink Floyd Love is alive - Gary Wright Turn me loose - Loverboy 🔥🔥 Trampled underfoot - Led Zeppelin Kid Charlemagne - Steely Dan The Fez - Steely Dan 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Josie - Steely Dan Lido Shuffle - Boz Scaggs Eminence Front - The Who Twilight Zone - Golden Earring Mean street - Van Halen You’ll never find another love like mine - Lou Rawls
This is the first EVER Led Zeppelin I heard, I came home from school and my big brother was blasting it out proper loud. You NEVER forget the first Led Zep song you heard, and where you were when you heard it. You should see the live fron Knebworth 1972 (my hometown) version of this song!
It was in Jack Black's School of Rock and Thor:Ragnarok. This song turned a relatively new rock band into Rock God's. Plant wrote the lyrics in about ten minutes
I've watched a few other reactions to Led Zep and you guys are absolutely the best. Would really love it if you would to do many more reactions to their music more frequently. Really enjoyed your analysis and comments. Rock on!
Use to steal this record off my brother and play it to death, I was about 12 and loved it and Deep Purple.... I’m 63 now and still sing and dance to this song 💕👌
Led Zeppelin III was unfairly often criticized when first released for basically being too soft and whataya know it contains the hardest most intense song they ever made as well as still reaching number one on both sides of the atlantic and other countries.
You are right about sports stadiums, or at least one of them: the Minnesota Vikings (of course....what could be more appropriate?) use it when they run on the field, through a big Viking ship, with fog shooting up all around. Never get tired of seeing that in person. Legendary song from a legendary band!!
Nice reaction but you really need to listen to Since I've Been Loving You from the same album....trust me it will blow you away and that you haven't heard it! Just subscribed
Most probably won't agree with me but their first song off their first album is my favorite and I think is the best Zeppelin song, "Good Times, Bad Times".
The breaks in the song are so the cool dancers can strike a pose and prove that they know the song, it isn't hard to dance to but could be embarrassing when the song stops and you keep dancing. There are lots of songs with speed changes and moments when you are supposed to do something special, Pink Floyd's "Money" starts in 7/8 time and shifts to 4/4 then back to 7\8 so that gets awkward. I always got it because I was startled when the music stopped and froze like deer in the headlights which is perfect!
If you picture in your mind the circular motion that long oars make as one rows, you notice how the song mirrors this tempo perfectly. Yoy get the picture of Vikings rowing a long boat across the ocean.
I love your take on each musician. Each of them in their own right could have helped any band sound better in their day. You definitely have a new subscriber.
This particular Led Zeppelin song (Immigrant Song) always brings me back to the time I was having some fun with another fan.. hot blondish girl... oh the memories!! :P
My favorite Zeppelin album . Lots of memories . Can't tell me you guys have never heard this tune before . You should give the Dead a listen , Europe 72 ,China Cat Sunflower / I know You Rider .
This band is all in COSTUME as part of their theatrics and music. Not to mention scary! If check out Ghost BC? The music is amazing! Here’s their song Ritual: ua-cam.com/video/6l2FEHr_Yzg/v-deo.html. ENJOY👻☠️ 😈 I WONT LET YOU DOWN! 🤘🏻
This song reminds me of horses galloping and Indians … that’s just what comes to mind when I hear it! Lol😂 Just fyi.. I’m missing a lot of your videos… not sure why because some of them come across my feed and I am subscribed so idk if anyone else is having that problem
Hey guys your channel is great, im a big fan and I dare you to react to Swords and Knives by Tears for Fears I assure you your going to enjoy it a 100%
I see lots of targets of opportunity for new groups to sample. Ted nugent. Joe walsh. The stones. Montrose. Mountain. The james gang. You know just in case you don't think your schedule is full yet.
Still so great after 51 years later ,that is LED ZEP
It is truly hard to believe that it has been that long!
There are no words for describing the greatness of Led Zeppelin. No. Words.
As always thanks guys. Such fun.
Takes me back to black light smoky garage parties during my high school years. So good. There was always Zeppelin.
Piling out of a smoky van with your friends.
Thanks for more Led Zeppelin
My favorite band since 1969
John Bonham is unique in the fact that he follows the guitar sometimes more than the tradition of following the bass guitar. Great tune
Exactly right
He accompanies the guitar often...looking and the sheet music is telling.
I already was in awe of John Bonham, and I saw this clip, What Makes John Bonham Such A Great Drummer? from the channel Polyphonic. My jaw hit the floor, Kashmir is a work of absolute genius. I highly recommend it.
Led Zeppelin , they bonafide !
He absolutely follows Jimmy. That's the beauty of his playing.
We come from the land of the ice and snow...

Me too! I used to listen to WLS and WCFL at night at the time on my transistor radio/portable record player before bedtime 🌙 😴 Good memories!
ME TOO - same age, here in Chicago, WLS!!!! O THE MEMORIES!!!!💖😎
One of my favourite songs from the best band ever!! And Robert Plant can read me a story any time. Or sing me a story.
I snuck the Immigrant Song onto the sound system at my 13 y.o. Grandson’s baseball tournament. They usually play hip hop or rap between innings. The kids loved it. Then, I realized that we were playing a team called the Vikings. Ooops.

This is the first EVER Led Zeppelin I heard, I came home from school and my big brother was blasting it out proper loud.

You should see the live fron Knebworth 1972 (my hometown) version of this song!
My wife grew up to this music. She says, let it speak, sing to you, take you away. trust in Zep.
It was in Jack Black's School of Rock and Thor:Ragnarok. This song turned a relatively new rock band into Rock God's. Plant wrote the lyrics in about ten minutes
Your channel has become a favorite of mine, each of you are so different but the same, I wish great things for y'all, much love 🤘😎❤
That song is a great exercise for the neck, you just can control your head.
LMAO! too funny.
Gives me chills
I've watched a few other reactions to Led Zep and you guys are absolutely the best. Would really love it if you would to do many more reactions to their music more frequently. Really enjoyed your analysis and comments. Rock on!
Led Zeppelin still deep for todays young minds
Live version is several minutes longer and has a great solo by Page.
This song always reminds me of Jack Black in "School of Rock." Great song, great movie! Love you guys.
You guys haven’t lived until you watch the Cybertronic Spree cover this. You guys are the perfect age to appreciate their onstage attire!
Bizarre, but the lady's vocals fit well.
You guys are amazing!
I love hearing your thoughts.
Very intelligent guys!
Use to steal this record off my brother and play it to death, I was about 12 and loved it and Deep Purple.... I’m 63 now and still sing and dance to this song 💕👌
This song was also used in the movie Thor: Ragnorak.
If you want to use a Zepplin song in a movie, It usually will cost 7 figures.
I love your discussions! You let me see songs I've loved forever from a fresh perspective.
Love you guys. You just did my favorite Zepp song ever. Short. Slammin'. Perfectly awesome!
I must say I enjoyed this song best in Shrek 3, when Fiona and the princesses attach the castle 😆
Led Zeppelin III was unfairly often criticized when first released for basically being too soft and whataya know it contains the hardest most intense song they ever made as well as still reaching number one on both sides of the atlantic and other countries.
Whole Lotta Love. A song worth listening to. ❤
You are right about sports stadiums, or at least one of them: the Minnesota Vikings (of course....what could be more appropriate?) use it when they run on the field, through a big Viking ship, with fog shooting up all around. Every garage band covered this back in the day! Fire!
When the levee breaks
Oh HELL YEAH!!
Whoa- turn it up and buckle up….cmon man it’s Led Zeppelin.❤️🎼❤️🤘😎🎸🔥
That’d be 6/8 time. Game of Thrones opening theme- 6/8 time.
Best Band ever
This song made me fall in ❤️ with LZ ❤
This is my husbands ringtone
Our high school days 😊❤
you need to do studio version of Kashmir next!!!
The lord of the rings read by Robert Plant would be double epicness
Most probably won't agree with me but their first song off their first album is my favorite and I think is the best Zeppelin song, "Good Times, Bad Times".
This needs to be seen.
Robert Plant is notorious for not allow anyone to use his music
The breaks in the song are so the cool dancers can strike a pose and prove that they know the song, it isn't hard to dance to but could be embarrassing when the song stops and you keep dancing. There are lots of songs with speed changes and moments when you are supposed to do something special, Pink Floyd's "Money" starts in 7/8 time and shifts to 4/4 then back to 7\8 so that gets awkward. I always got it because I was startled when the music stopped and froze like deer in the headlights which is perfect!
Bonham what are you doing?! God of drumming.
SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVIN' YOU
My favourite L. Z. song!
I LOVED dancing to this song.
Thanks for the Led Zeppelin... would LOVE to see more of them and maybe you could get back to Rush? And how about getting more Pink Floyd?
Check out "Thank You" and "Over The Hills and Far Away".
Of course they are in my top 5 for favorite bands. 😍
Their songs have so many mention of "The Habbit" and "The Lord of the Rings!!!" Listen for them!!!!
I can *only* understand this song if it goes straight into "Friends".
Albums!
(Also - bassline runs in 16ths.)
You guys are great! Have ya ever checked out In The Evening
This is my ringtone! 😅
Another Classic! Bonham!❤
please react to Heart Kennedy Center Honors for Led Zeppelin, you will be amazed.
It’s was used perfectly in Thor Ragnarok! Being about Norse mythology
Greatest band in history! Used in Thor Ragnorock too
If you've not heard it check out Robert Plant, Big Log and Ship of Fools from his solo stuff.
My two ABSOLUTE FAVORITES! Both are amazing!
Thor Ragnurok is probably where you heard this.
Out on the tiles, killer tune
God, YES. In 1970, I was 11 years old.
Something seemed different tonight. But that is a great song! Great Band!
Nice reaction guys! Live version also very good! Love your channel too🙂👍🔥
Love you guys and your channel
Watch the live version. its longer so its better .
Robert's vocals are a bit shaky in the live version, but Jimmy makes up for it with an epic guitar solo.
now you have to hear the band Heart perform Immigrant Song (at Kennedy Center)
Heart performed LZ song Stair way to Heaven at the Kennedy Honors
Huh???!!
You should listen to "In my Time of Dying". LANDMARK SONG!!!!
Kashmir "Live at Knobworth"
There is NO hotter song ever. 🔥
Yall should do For Your Life by Led. Amazing song
The Lemon Song 🍋
React to Dazed and Confused, Whole Lotta Love.
Great song and great reaction.
Try the parody from The Cigar Wrappers of this tune: "The Illegal Immigrant Song"...it's entirely non-PC and FANTASTIC.
Pretty sure they don't want to tie themselves to right-wing bigotry.
9th vid of yours watched, and 3rd today! You guys are very likable....!!!! Check of Road To Hell by Chris Rea....preferably the long version!
John Henry Bonham
This song reminds me of horses galloping and Indians … that’s just what comes to mind when I hear it! Lol😂 Just fyi.. I’m missing a lot of your videos… not sure why because some of them come across my feed and I am subscribed so idk if anyone else is having that problem
You should listen to Robert Plant’s solo work, like Big Log or Sixes and Sevens. Even if you don’t do a video, I think you’ll all love it.
Great song. Try Thank You from Zep II
My favorite Led Zeppelin song, and I love the movie School of Rock.
Hey guys your channel is great, im a big fan and I dare you to react to Swords and Knives by Tears for Fears I assure you your going to enjoy it a 100%
🤘
You heard it on Thor Ragnarok
I see lots of targets of opportunity for new groups to sample. Ted nugent. Joe walsh. The stones. Montrose. Mountain. The james gang. You know just in case you don't think your schedule is full yet.
Chase Utleys walk up song
React to the 1972 live version

Truly amazing. The bands reaction when camera pans on them always brings me to tears.
