- Chicago is an American rock band formed in 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. The self-described "rock and roll band with horns" began as a politically charged, sometimes experimental, rock band and later moved to a predominantly softer sound, generating several hit ballads. The group had a steady stream of hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Second only to The Beach Boys in Billboard singles and albums chart success among American bands, Chicago is one of the longest-running and most successful rock groups, and one of the world's best-selling groups of all time, having sold more than 100 million records.[1][2]
No one can ever touch him ..RIP
The Man!!!
@@anthonyfesta1224 indeed
I've never heard this version. One of my favorite Chicago songs, it always sounded to me, through one of his most touching lyrics, that Terry was a tortured soul. RIP Terry we still love and miss you.
This version is a little frantic; I prefer the album final version. But what a voice Terry had! He could have had a beautiful solo career
Gracias Terry le hiciste falta a tus amigos de Chicago
I love this alternate version Terry was so talented I did not know He did this love it.
I love this version.
So much talent, it's hard to fathom. Kath and Seraphine front and center. Fabulous.
awesome.....have missed Terry Kath so much
Hendrix told Robert Lamm that Terry Kath was the most interesting guitar player he had ever heard... damn!
The album version of this song makes me want to go out and chase women ( like a gentleman of course)
and then fall in L💕ve
. . . This song is so freakin' SEXY !! 🎸🎙
Classic Kath. Legend.
Best song by Chicago and Terry Kath. I love it 💗
Sort of a window into the soul of a very talented guy. It's also the best version of this song I've heard.
AGREED
It's my favorite too. As fresh today as it was in the early 70s.
This is so awesome! Love Terry, miss him so much! This one always make me cry, so moving. Just beautiful! Genius!
Best Kath song, imho. This is what it would sound like live, j should think
Legend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the neat song.
Love this
TERRY
é inesquecível!!
El sonido original que me gustó siempre de Chicago
TK, what an AMAZING VOICE!!! Amazing Man! So soulful and he sang it like he wanted to with no Boundaries, just with his heart! Can't touch that these days! Loved to hear his "unscripted" version - I once heard that every song that Chicago put on an album was first sung by Terry, Peter and Robert and then they would decide who would actually "fit" for the recording - I can see how it worked with many of their songs, can't imagine anyone else singing this song but Terry!
Of course I'd love to find out why both Robert & Terry stopped singing lead or at least on the hits later on.
Hey you 5👎’s! Get your Archie’s albums out of the attic and enjoy!
Lo 😊dije y lo repito con terry. Kat se acabo el mundo en que viviamos
the only one ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ TERRY

Great song, interesting to hear this opposed to the final recorded version.
Chicago VII
Wow, the best song ever. Not sure what it’s all about but I’d be there for him. Is Byblos a bar or nightclub that he met her at? I’ve loved this song since the seventies. My first concert was Chicago at Boston Garden in about 1975.......
There was a bar on the east side of manhattan ny called Byblos. Not sure if its still there.
Too bad this version didn’t make the album.
On the remastered version of Chicago VII
@@bradburgess8482 Thanks. Still too bad it wasn't on it the 1st time.

Too fast:-( .
Yes, but still delightful
I actually now have a hard time listening to the version that made the LP.
