Man I am all about Terry Kath but Peter Cetera on that bass is no freaking joke! Kudos all around!

Band members exclaimed in certain situations they had no idea how Terry was going to "get out of a solo", and "he just powered his way through." What a great way to express the Terry Kath affect.

Once he got going he let it take him wherever it went. The perfect improvisation. There will never be another Terry Kath.

Unbelievable that this clip only has 3,800 +/- views and only seven comments.
Terry Kath has been called the most underrated guitarist ever.
I would say he is most under appreciated guitarist ever.
    Well, him and Tommy Bolin...
Both had wonderful voices to compliment their phenomenal skills on guitar.
Why is it that zero talent hacks (I won't mention any names) are nearly impossible to kill while the likes of Terry Kath, Tommy Bolin, Jimi Hendrix & Randy Rhoads are called to Valhalla when they still have so much to give?
Like George Harrison sang "isn't it a pity?"

In this live recording, they don't get to that point until 6:33.

Dang - this is the show Bill Graham booked Chicago for; the purpose being to keep them out of the Woodstock show, in favor of Santana. They really should have played at Woodstock. Santana would have made it big anyway. But we all know how that Santana performance went - it absolutely smoked. But still … Chicago was NOT TOO HAPPY about that move - who could blame them!
