‘BAT OUT OF HELL’ - Vocal Cover - GODSPEED, MEAT LOAF!

Meat Loaf told us all, "Don't ever stop rocking!" So I kept his message to us in mind and decided that ‘Bat Out of Hell’ would truly be a great way to honor him, especially with it being a year since he’s passed. 🖤

(I posted this to Lauren's Instagram of this cover a short while ago.) This performance is not about singing - it's about progress. Look and listen and consider what's before you - what you hear and what you see and what you feel - and have a blast while you're doing it! This is “Bat Out Of Hell” as it absolutely must be sung, must be done! It was born in the wild as a runaway colossus, a wholesale extravagance, something that Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf so dramatically made out of nothing at all. It then - somehow astoundingly - grew into something more, something even greater (a higher version of itself), if that’s even possible, when Lauren Bradley so savagely slaughtered “The Bat” a year ago! And now, with Lauren’s most recent version, the song is no longer even a song, it’s become ... a life force of its own! :) ...

better than your first version for sure. i like that you embraced being more theatrical but there are parts where it feels like you are holding back or are unsure. Meat NEVER held back so go for it. this is my all time fav song by my all time singer so im not an easy critic and while i think no one will ever do it better than Meat i will say this is a very good cover. one thing i would recommend from a singer to another is to work on your diction and really emphasizing your consonants. i know how hard jims music is to perform it isnt for the mild hearted.
