I am on Amlodipine, sold as Exforge here in Australia. I have been on it for many years now, but started seeing swelling in my ankles only recenty. My Dr continues with this prescription although I have told him about it many times.

Thanks Doc I have noticed that dizziness and more with this pill told my doctor and he said no way it can't be the pill🤔🤔🤔
I have been on amlodipoline besylate since 2012..without any problem. 5 mg daily
Same amlodipine 5mg and valsartan 160mg; never had an issue. I was warned I might see some swelling but haven’t noticed any issues.

No joke my right leg got swollen big time, dr took me off amlodipine and the swelling went down

i take Amlodipine along with telmisartan and hctz. my feet did swell up some and my gp said to cut the telmisartan pill in half, and now, no more swelling.

Is grapefruit bad for thyroid too?
@Souperat60, grapefruit doesn't impact your thyroid, but it can interact with certain medications. If you're on thyroid medication, consult your doctor before incorporating grapefruit in your diet.

I had gum swelling and bleeding in the beginning. It went away after about 3 weeks.
