@@royvu4386 I didn't know Jake then. I just stopped wearing glasses altogether. I just kept telling myself, just look around you, it's ok. But I spent lots of time outdoors. Then I found Jake and started wearing glasses to keep focusing; you probably know when focusing is happening is so uplifting and rewarding! Today I have -1.5 glasses for driving at night. -1 for driving and -0.75 for the computer (for that I use blue light blocking tint too.) But I walk/run without glasses and a lot too. Maybe not good, but I don't know. It's a lot of second guessing for me (not sure why since Jake explains everything clearly.)
Hello sir i am watching your videos since almost a year , but i have a question that when i am focusing on a blur image (Staring on a blur image after couple of minutes tear appears in my eyes and when i blink suddenly the blur image become clear and after while it again become blurred vision so sir does this is called active focus
No, that's not active focus.. its your tear that creates a fake lens effect and gives your better vision temporarily.. its not active focus, active focus is when you blink/stare at something and that thing clears up after you do it, you can't use tears for active focus
I'm working a lot in front of the computer. What I do now is, I printed out a few eye charts and stuck them on the wall on the opposite side of the room. So from time to time, every few mins or hour, I take a break and look at the eye chart while doing active focus. I do that throughout the day to give my eyes a break from close up. I ordered my differential glasses recently and still waiting for them to be delivered ... that will probably help me as well.
I am willing to break my video game addiction habit and do some outdoor activities walking indoor rock climbing go karting at Cetera but none of my friends want to do this I’m all alone in this what can I do
Hi ! By changing your activities and so your habits, you will change your mind, your life...believe me. And the friends you have right now certainly will change too, i mean you will meet new friends that are more near to your vision of life. It's really simple, don't afraid. And if your actual friends are not dumb they will support you.

Yepp ! The world has gone insane. 3 hours is really that much. I worked at an automobile service centre (big brand - so the timing is almost same in others) where the job is 8 to 8 😅 It was 40 kms from my house. Also, No Saturdays off. And it's a Half day till 3 pm on Sunday. So that was the only day I even saw the Sunlight properly 😂 Trust me, Just be grateful if any of you have 9 to 5 jobs 😜 I can't find one where I'm from.
Yes we are in the era where we can't have 3 hours of outdoor time. They have taken everything from us. Thanks WEF and Klaus Schwab. I will eat ze bugs now.

what about doing chores around the house does that count as distance vision? moreover what about reading, i wouldn't be looking at a screen but still looking at something close to me
what do u mean by 3 hours without screen like if I do walk outside or exercise without screen does it count or I have to focus (blur until clear) for 3 hours??
I guess, he's talking about lifestyle in general. Yes, have at least 3 hours to get away from all screens, go outside, walk, ride a bike or a bicycle or travel or just have fun with your family.
@@paramjeetthakkar7088 I am not practising active or distance focus but yes I am not using my glasses any more at first I feel like I can't even walk without glasses but now I can easily do everything except reading "yes still blurred" but clear to understand
your videos are great.... Keep producing such videos. Thank you for helping guys like us. I will be definitely going to share such ideas. Love from Nepal. 😊
I still wonder. Is the problem screens, or is the problem long term close up vision? If you're looking at a screen but you sit further away from your screen then your edge of blur, is this beneficial or not?
If you have a very large room :D But that's not a good idea - your eye needs variation in focal planes to avoid getting your muscles stuck in one position. There's no way a TV screen could replace proper variable distance focus you get when just walking around and looking at things at different distances - houses, clouds, trees, birds, cars...
camelCased Well said, I’ve noticed that moving cars and looking at car license plate helped me a lot with active focus. I noticed improvement immediately after my 3 hour daily walks.
Do you have experience with changing the font size on your computer(even slightly) to encourage active focus when you have to be on the computer for prolonged periods? It seems like that could be beneficial, I'm curious if someone who's done it thought it helped.

You can blink your eyes, squeeze your eyes(nose)

Does wearing glasses and looking distant helps to reduce myopia and improve vision.

Wear your Distance Glasses/ Lenses. (Normalized)
Not much progress after 10 months print pushing. I don't wear glasses with weaker lenses so in my case it doesn't have any effect at all.
Print pushing isn't endmyopia. Also yes, close-up stimulus isn't going to do much to improve distance vision.
I have astigmatism too, should I wear glasses with my current prescription for astigmatism or less correction lenses?
good videos, i think ur generalizing too much. People have different life situations. Single parent students who work for example
