It's only been a few days into the year and I'm already depressed by all of my responsibilities, family issues, boyfriend issues, bills, etc and my mental health has been taking a hit. Watching your videos and getting at least 30-45mins of not being in my head and focusing on storytime truly helps💖💖💖 Thank you for making my day better, I truly needed it.

idk how petty these are, but these are the euphemistic ways I've learned to convey "are u kidding me" after 8 years working in offices:
1. when someone is late getting you something or asks you something you've already answered, forward that original email with a message like "Hi blahblah, just checking on the status of this request I made two weeks ago." or "Hi blahblah, I saw your request and think you may have missed this email. Is this what you were looking for?"
2. My job involves some writing and a lot of QCing of other people's writing, so when someone has obviously half-assed a document (which makes my life harder), I turn on Track Changes and edit the shit out of their writing, then send it back (even if I don't have to) saying "Hey Blub, I ended up making some significant changes to your section; can you confirm that my edits captured what you were trying to say?" This also ensures that there's written evidence that you did everything in your power to ensure an assignment was done properly.
3. When people try to dump their work on me, I always respond with "Bleh, I'm happy to help, but I'm currently working on X, Y, and Z, and likely won't be able to get to this until I've completed those assignments, which may take some time - you may want to ask someone else if want it done quickly. [Supervisor] has asked me to prioritize my other assignments; can you please check with her to confirm whether I should add this to my list?" This is a big one - it makes you seem like a hard worker and ensures other people are held accountable if you end up with an unrealistic workload.

Veronica really saw Nikki as a threat ...trying to keep as just a receptionist- never growing. Seeing Nikki stand up for herself is wholesome. I wish I had that much courage when I started off working, but I'm glad I ran into her channel when I was 20. Since then my attitude has changed for the better.
My question is ‘WHY’ …why was Nikki such a threat at such a young age to an older and more vetted Veronica ?? Like I really wish Veronica could answer lol

I had the same experience with a petty boss. In my second corporate job at 19 I wanted to move up to another department but she didn’t want me to grow and did everything to prevent that as well even though everyone else seen my work ethic and intelligence and she legitimately would put me down and say that I wasn’t capable of it. Girllll I wanted to whoop her ass but I had to stay professional but I ended up leaving that company she was so unprofessional and always talking about her bumble dates and her ex husband who still lives with her and she was cringe and weird 😭😭😂😂
She only wanted you to tell her when you were using your parking pass on the weekends so she could ensure she wasn’t going to run into you again while she is out doing her dirt.

I recently watched a reddit stories video about the smallest straw that *finally* broke the camel’s back that resulted in people quitting their jobs, and Veronica saying her son was 5’12” ending it for Nikki definitely takes the ENTIRE cake 😂

Honestly, this reminds me of my sis-in-law. MINI STORYTIME. Almost 2 years ago now, her husband cheated on her with a girl that was her client. My sis-in-law was a cosmetology student at the time. This client of hers (I'll call her Orchid) was known to be caught in the streets if you know what I mean. One day my sis came back from work an hour early and found Orchid in her bed with her husband asleep. Instead of dragging her right then and there, my sis grabbed Orchids phone, unlocked it with face recognition, and sat in their living room for 30 minutes. Sis screenshotted EVERYTHING. Orchid was talking to multiple other girls' boyfriends and sleeping with them, so sis got those screenshots and the ones between Orchid and her husband. After she got everything she needed, she went back into the room and beat her a**, and kicked her out. The audacity of Orchid though, she would say that she did this because she's "depressed" and "suicidal." Then she blocked my sis off everything, then unblocked her and sent my sis pictures of her body...like full-on NUDES of herself telling my sis: "Oh, you're just mad cause I look WAY better than you." You wanna know what my sis-in-law did? She picked up her husband that had been staying with his parents since she kicked him out, and started driving to Orchid's house. She knocked and asked for Orchid, Orchid gave her a mad attitude and my sis started saying: "Keep that same energy you had through text. Talk mess to my face, or go talk to my husband since you wanted him so bad. I brought him to you." Orchids mom was there confused, and my sis showed all the messages and screenshots to her mom. Orchid got pale and screamed: "How did you get those! Don't expose me, please!" Orchid's mom slapped her across the face and my sis walked away. My sis-in-law is better than me, 100%. I wouldn't have thought of getting all that dirt, I would've just straight beat her a**. Orchid also moved 30 minutes away since she was scared of being exposed, dropped out of nursing college, and started doing lashes and waxing in her apartment in the city my sis-in-law happens to work at. However, my sis took it one step further and told her boss about Orchid doing this. Her boss has been a cosmetologist for years and runs her own salon, she's reporting Orchid for doing all that unlicensed and will not be allowed to do any cosmology work in the city and maybe even state. The funny thing is, her boss doesn't even know Orchid had problems with my sis, and my sis didn't even know that Orchid could be reported for doing that stuff without being licensed. The cherry on top of everything haha.

I started watching this on my way to work, then on my lunch break, and couldn't WAIT to send those kids home (Pre-K Assistant) to continue getting all the details. I'm a creative mind, and a visionary, so I instantly get sucked into the scene like I'm there (EVERYTIME you tell the story). Of course we aren't getting a visual on who they are, so I always make up what they look like. 🤭
