ommmmmgggg this sounds just like what happened with some guy i used to date.
long story short, he cheated and his best friend wouldn't tell me the truth. but one day his best friend ended up coming clean with everything and told me that my guy was seeing some other girl too. well, after me cutting my guy out, his best friend left him too from simple drifting away. and towards the end, my ex's best friend and i ended up going out a few times and having fun and just simple innocent hangouts from bowling to even hitting the gym together. it was great, even more when my ex started finding out and got extremely jealous that his best friend and i were going out without him lol. revenge is sweet.
