I want to start off by letting you know how entertaining you are and the comfort you are for me. Your girl needs some advice!!! 😉😉 I’m in a intership and I truly dislike it I strongly connect it to my inability to talk to the coworkers keep in my mind I’m about to be a sophomore in high school an am extremely intimidated by them. I feel I won’t have something to talk about. I’m naturally a talkative person ( when comfortable) but since Im a shy person in the office ( yes it’s a corporate environment ) i find it boring because I don talk to ANYONE!! A seven hour shift just being quite which makes it not enjoyable. 😔😔 do you have any advice to try and community with others ( keep in mind that my work does not consist of any interaction with anyone - it’s just computer work such as filing ) I would really appreciate your advice or anyone who has experience this!
Girl tommy john is not it. I worked for one of their manufacturing warehouses and it is SO UNSANITARY!! We had NO GLOVES we were literally just wearing street clothes and some people were literally EATING while packaging items in those lil tommy john bags… the clothes are so expensive for no reason all their stuff is thin and cheaply made.

Nikki I just want to say thank you for your stories, I’m 21 now but when I was a teenager I’d listen to your stories and while I did my chores. I used them to escape my reality & they’d make me laugh or realize ppl always go through things no matter who you are. You do not know how miserable I was at home but I want you to know that you where apart of me getting through it. I love your stories!!

Girrrrrrrrrrrl, I'm an HR Generalist and the new Plant Manager was very much like Chelsea and I felt like I was walking on eggshells because she would always find a reason to complain about me to my boss(the HR Director) about the pettiest things and my boss was dumbfounded because I take my job very seriously. I had to keep defending myself and proving to my boss that I was doing my work. Until one day I vented to my boss about it and in that instant the Plant Manager called my boss to throw me under the bus AGAIN and my boss just snapped at her and basically told her I know how to do my job, we have bigger fish to fry and the Plant Manager should be focusing on her team who is failing instead of me.
Needless to say the Plant Manager has been a doll to me ever since 🤗
MAAAAAAAAN!!!! I got a similar story like this at my job. I got some damn lady thinking she can talk to me all kinds of ways and give me attitude. I stayed quiet about for a while but honestly, the Latina in me could NOT take it anymore. I remember one time she had the NERVE to yell at me…. I SAID UM NO. Best believe she got the yelling of a lifetime from ME. After that, she never once raised her voice at me. Some people got us twisted. I am not the one. Even in a professional setting, you gots to check these people sometimes.
I feel like Chelsea knew the story behind that wet blanket.

@@brendamattcordova4525 Nikki probably just has a really good memory. Plus, a lot of people tend to memorize bad things that happen to them in much greater detail more so than good things. Situations that involve strong emotions can produce stronger memories.
Also, she doesn't ALWAYS have the upper hand in every single one of her storytimes. Nikki just has a very strong and confident personality and she isn't the type of person to let people treat her like shit, which is probably why it always seems like she has the upper hand since that can intimidate people. It is possible that she might've added a few things or described things differently if she couldn't remember EXACTLY what she said or did, but if she does do that, I don't think she's doing it to deceive her audience. Nikki just doesn't seem like that type of person.

Chelsea sounds like she had major NPD (narcissist). They usually are on and off with how they treat you & everything you say will be used against you forever. They also always have a “sob” story 🙄

Your corporate story times 👏🏽Are 👏🏽My👏🏽Fave! I have a coworker who made up an entire storyline about me and some guy she liked that liked me instead . I thankfully wfh now so me and this coworker get along a lot better now , but I learned to just keep my distance from everyone bc corporate jobs really are just high school on repeat .
I related to this heavyyyyy. I got hired to basically be the head of the cashiers at a job I used to work at. A girl a couple years younger than me had been working there for years, but only part time due to her being in college. She thought she was in competition with me, but was really in competition with herself, because irdc lol. I obviously had more duties than her with me being full time, but I promise you, every single thing this girl saw me doing, she wanted to do. Everything! It even got to the point where I would ask coworkers "Has she ever done this before???" Everybody would always tell me, "It's cause you do it." There was a time our boss told her "She's your boss" and this little girl literally said "ain't NOBODY my boss." And I kinda just looked at her like ".... noted 🙃", but didn't say anything. Long story short, I feel like she knew I didn't like her, because not only do I wear my emotions on my face, she literally told me once "You're always so quiet when I'm here." And I literally laughed and said "Because there's nothing to talk about." I was SO happy when I quit that job 😂
Omg it's so weird when random coworkers try to compete with you and you aren't even checking for them like I had 2 coworkers do that to me. Even one of them had tried to ask me to basically not do my job and instead let them just do because apparently when I do MY OWN work I'm "Making them look bad" lmao

I had a coworker who finished grad school with me and we got hired at the same job..SHE would literally call me one of her best friends left and right, AND we booked a trip together. Come to find out she would talk bad, lie, and bash me with her new boyfriend and she tried to sabotage my relationship with another coworker. Hella manipulative too because she would only try to make me look bad to the people who couldn’t vouch for me (hardly knew her man), but not a peep to anyone who knew me well enough to call her out for being vindictive. She would take one side of a conversation we had and twist it to make me look like I’m talking out my ass, blow things way out of proportion, or straight lie to fit her narrative. I’m genuinely curious why her man didn’t ask her why she was even “friends” with me given everything she had to say. You really don’t gotta like me but to be on a whole trip with me and be texting your man about how much you hate me the whole time...I don’t even have the adjective for that..😂
I just disengaged myself from her to keep things professional and she tried to confront me about it. I didn’t even specify what I knew, just told her if she was so disgusted with me I’ll do her the favor and stay away. Homegirl really acted SHOCKED, and when she couldn’t lie her way out of it she tried to justify her behavior.
Younger me would’ve called her outttt but the older I get I just want my peace lol. You’d lose your mind trying to understand the behaviors of some people

I'm an instructional assistant, and let me just say that the whole school year was a "worst coworker" story. It got to the point where I was desperate to meet with the principal so that I wouldn't work with this person this coming year. Still praying to this day, and school starts soon.
Girl. I have the worst coworker experience. My manager had such a problem with me being vegetarian, she would buy lunch for all my coworkers and tell me I had to eat the meat I didn’t have a choice because they bought it and also would come into my classroom everyday during lunch time and tell me I had to sit with the kids and eat everything they were eating or I’m not doing my job .. this lady was something else 🫢

I had one coworker disrespect me in the past and it was for a minimum wage job when I was 19. She was new and told a lot of lies to my manager. Ooo girl! I quit same day because my manager believed her. A year later I got a text from my manager asking me if I was hiring.. lol.

I had a “friend” that would tell everyone she was very honest. But y’all know, when someone says they’re honest, that’s just their excuse to be an a-hole. She would bring me down in front of peers to make herself look better. I finally gave up on her and moved on. Haven’t spoken to her in years . I hold no grudge but I will not go out of my way to reach out either.

I was a server for a restaurant and I was working a double so I had a break in between to sit down and eat some food so I was sitting with 4 of my other coworkers and this older woman who was the daytime server basically she had been there for years and she thought she owned the place came over threw napkins down on the table and told me I need to get up and do my job, I was livid who did she think she thinks she was so I continued to sit there until my break was over I got up and I was going to get ice and I was carrying 2 ice buckets and I walked around the corner as I did she was coming around the opposite corner and one of the ice buckets knocked into the wall which knocked the other 1 into her. She came and shoved me so hard because she thought I hit her on purpose I threw those ice buckets down and told her if she wanted it could be like that.. My manager had the audacity to pull me into the office and try to get me to apologize to Shelley, That was not happening because I was not in the wrong but but they just didn't want to ruffle her feathers because she basically ran the daytime shift.. They gave up on me apologizing just let me go about my night by night I said nothing else to her and the next day she came in and apologized to me and ever since then she never fucked with me again. She's the kind of woman she's gonna push you and push you until you push back you have to set limits with those types of people

My co-worker story was actually my boss.😐😂
I work in customer service at domino’s. At the time of this story I was only 16, and this lady her name is Aliza and she took over the general manager spot of the store I was at. It started out with slick comments and jokes that I didn’t think were jokes, her facial expressions didn’t change so it was hard to tell at the time. One time I asked her if u could leave early cause we were dead and it was like 30 minutes from the end of my shift, the first time I asked her she didn’t say anything so I asked her again, nothing, I asked her for the 3rd time and she finally says “ yes. God your worse than my 3 kids.” What does that mean, but u let it slide, now fast forward to February of last year and personal stuff happens and I can’t go into work for 3 weeks straight. We get payed weekly. I have to take Lyfts to work sometime, so by the end of my 3 weeks I’m going back to work and It’s all good the first 2 days then the 3rd day the Lyfts Cost like way over 20 dollars. So I Text Aliza being like “hey I’m really sorry but I don’t have enough money to get to work the prices for rides are too high” she texts back “ no that unacceptable you have to come to work”. Now she had previously fired my co-worker for going to the bathroom in the middle of rush ( he had one of the drivers watch the oven for him while he went real quick but anyway). So I eventually stopped getting emails of what my schedule is and I’m like Ok so I start looking for other jobs. Eventually end up back at domino’a working with my mom who is a gm. Just to found out from my mom that Aliza had terminated me and put me down as non-rehire-able.
My mom is currently in a meeting in Atlanta ga with her sooo.😂

Oh my gosh Nikki this story time was amazing! You told her all about herself and I was 100% here for it! Its always funny how girls like Chelsea will be very condescending and passive aggressive but when you are straight up with them they act like they don't know what you're talking about. It was most likely because of jealousy. This is not me being conceited. Nine times out of ten when someone doesn't like you and you've done absolutely nothing to them, it's because they're jealous. I absolutely love this story time and I can't wait for more! I wish you and your family the best!
I agree, Chelsea just sounded jealous and like a hater. She didn't like when Nikki was getting complimented for the great work that she completed so she had to try and downplay it and I can't stand shady people who make slick comments and then when you're direct with them they want to act like they know what you're talking about lol such cowards

So my story don’t concern a coworker but my Boss. I was working as an office manager in one company and beside my Boss and another general manager and myself, there weren’t any other employees. So my Boss was at the same time my boss and my coworker even though the hierarchy wasn’t like that at all. When I got hired, I had to go through a general list of documents that I needed to update. One of these documents were an employees register and that’s how I’ve got to know that I was the 6th person in this position within a period of … 5 months. That still wasn’t a red flag to me. My boss was horrible. She was humiliating you at all times: why do you need to write everything I’m telling you, even I don’t do this. I hate when people use sticky notes. Or she was giving you tasks without explaining them to you and getting angry if you came for help even though she told you to come. She was getting angry at all times and telling you that you’re good to do nothing. I didn’t know at that time that I had a very advanced MS and I’ve started to have another flare up during the day when she gave my a task without any instructions in regards to the accounting program they used. I’m not an accountant and she told me to prepare the monthly account closing duties… and she told me; I don’t care how are you going to do it, it has to be done before 2 pm. She didn’t knew herself how to do it so she put a pression on me. It was too much, during the lunch brake I’ve got up and went home and got a monthly sick leave. After I came back I was treated very poorly with a lot of degrading comments : you can go back on sick leave till the end of your contract ( I was only supposed to be there initially for 5 months before a permanent position). I don’t care, you’re ungrateful. So when she learnt that I don’t want to stay at the company she went coconuts. She got so mad, started crying, yelling at me telling me that if I don’t want to work with her I can go ahead and leave and she doesn’t care that I won’t get any unemployment support because this type of aid is for the people who work… so at the end of my contract I’ve formed a girl who was supposed do replace me. And guess what, on her third day she got fired… the legend says that till this day there has been nobody fix on this position. May I add that this was a pharmaceutical company specialized in rare diseases… this woman is truly a disgrace. Greets from Paris

This is suchaaa good storytime !! Love your work related stories 😝😝😝 …one time I used to work at supermarket and during my lunch I will only get 1$ snacks cus I was broke and my coworkers will always make fun of me and tell me how I was to not eating enough. So I told the HR lady that was making fun of my body. She got called out to the office and denied all this but when the manager were speaking to her she lost her shit and showed her true colors. ( she yelled at the HR lady and ended up suspended) 😝
Definitely my retail job my supervisor tried to shade me and chose not to teach me how to use the scanner. And kept shading me in front of customers for months 😒 . Might I add she got all my commissions I made on sales and ended up winning expensive gift because she made all my sales hers ...I was so happy to resign OMG!!!
I wish you would of reported her after your resignation! Taking someone’s commission should be considered stealing money from other team members. You should hold that company liable.
@@krissybaby375 I wanted to but the company didn't give me access to my commission for a few months because I was new and I didn't know that it was illegal I was 18 at the time and didn't understand how things were supposed to be. They even claimed unemployment on my tax number so I was unable to get a monthly grant.

When I got my first job as a legal assistant, I used to get bullied by this woman who had a problem with me. She tried to do a lot of things to mess with me, but the one that stands out is when she said, “Make sure to check the conference room and unplug the heaters. If the heater causes a fire and burns the building down, it’ll be your fault.”

Girl. Recently I lost my job because I was accused of embezzlement. My coworker was the inventory specialist and had worked there years before I started. Every day she took money from the drawer under my name for “petty cash.” HR pulled me into the office, and let me go because they “had all the proof they needed” to prosecute me. They denied showing me video proof. I didn’t steal anything. With no investigation or questions, I was fired. She was fired as well, but since the drawer was under my name, they had to get rid of me too I guess. That job was easy money. Coworkers were all bitches tho. 🤷🏻♀️
Wow girl you should report for that or something and sue the girl because that's not fair you got fired for something you didn't even do and she was using your name for it. Even if you don't want the job back you should still report them

She would literally try to compete with me for no reason and out due me and one time she was doing a little too much trying to outshine me but ended up messing up and she got embarrassed cause the other employees didn't like what she did so she was hella salty lmao and then I realized she was acting that way because she was jealous and felt threatened when I got the same position as her. She was fine with me though when I was working below her, lol

I had a coworker have a crush on me and told her girlfriend that I was touching all up on her and so she made a gc with me and the gf, the gf threatened me. I sure did go bring the messages to the GM and almost got her fired bc that would have been her 3rd strike but I ended leaving bc my mom was worried about my safety

I remember on Halloween I had to work but I had gotten real sick , I didn't want to call out because I didn't want them to think I was trying to call out to party , so I showed up to work looking and feeling like crap!!! Was prolly there 20 minutes then they noticed and just told me to go home , so I went home and rested for the rest of the day!!! And back then this was the MySpace era , so I was dumb enough to have more than enough co workers on my friendlist!!! The following day I go back to work and this annoying ass co worker that was on my friendlist had mentioned about me going home early ,in front of the management and the corporate supervisor, I told him I wasn't feeling well so I went home to sleep , this mf tried to call me out in front of them saying "yeah right " you went out to party!!! I told his ass how does he know?!!! Did you find something on my MySpace page? Because I know you was stalking my page trying to find something on me!!! Just stfu and mind your buisness!!! Is what I told his ass in front of our supervisors and they thought it was hilarious on how I checked him!!! Since then, don't have your co workers on your social media!!! I even had some delete or unfollow me after we stopped working together!!! But yeah lesson learned!!!💯💯💯🙌🏿😁

People like this are awful. There was this woman I was working with at my first proper job a month after I left school at age 18. She was my manager and she was 10 years older than me. Very unapproachable, always made me anxious whenever I’d go into work and if I got something wrong she would make me feel incompetent but if I didn’t go to her with my issues she’d be like why didn’t you speak up? She expected me to have the same knowledge as her despite her having 6 years more experience and I remember when one interaction when her and her work best friend who I quite liked were having a conversation about the spice girls and I said oh yeh I love them and she seemed shocked and said “aren’t you too young to know who they are?” And I was like no I really love them and their music and she was like “Prove it what are their names and what do they wear?” So I gave all the names and she just was like oh okay then 😭💔 since then I have moved jobs and become a lot better at handling my responses and emotions and I am much better at expressing how I feel but it’s still hard.

She wasn’t my co worker she was my boss and she was crazy!!!!! I never in life wanted to quit my job so quick … she was always accusing us of eating her nasty food , making us do all the work when she was just chillin 🤣 she also had a gf who she would cheat on with all the time. She ended getting fired and I was never happier in my life .
