Get well soon dude.
ive been using my glass guitar slide to get some flares, rings and blurs. also playing with freelensing. also planning some dolly zooms for future stuff
Peter, any advise to make an awesome UA-camr watch your work and send a feedback ? (the YB in question might be you ahah)

glad you're feeling better, i was worried xD MISSED YOUR FACE
I am a simple man. I see a PM video alert, I drop everything to come watch.
Same here man, fucking love that shit
Maaan, I love these vlogs/tutorials/vids sooo much! Everything in them reminds me of nature, and the mountain and river shots, and earthy colors, its all so perfect
hope you feel better!!!! You are my FAVOURITE!!!!!! I don’t get online as much these days but EVERYTHING you post is amazing and helpful!!!! Thank you for that!
I've learned more in this 13 minute video than I have in my first 8 weeks of taking a digital video class at school.
Love this! Thank you!
Then you should really reconsider your education provider.
Wooow Man ! *Awesome tips* !
Can't wait to try it for my next video series !
*Thanks a lot for sharing this with us* !
ok brb while I try like ALL OF THESE. but on a serious note, congrats on your growth man. I'm so proud to say I've been here from the early days when you had like less subscribers then I do now. I might of only watched them for fun then, but now that i started a channel I actually am starting to try them!! heres to your next milestone!! xx
lexamazing so true I need to try and use more of these in my videos! Pete has done so well. I just check out your dreamers video it was really cool
do you have LUTS pack of PM ?
Awesome video Peter! Loved that frame blending trick😁 will definitely be trying it out in my gym videos 🤣
Peter, THANK YOU! I'm so new to video editing and you've made learning so easy. I have a LOT of your videos to watch now!
Videos like this is the reason we love watching your Content.
I’m just here because you used the words “Camera tricks” *triggered*
Still waiting for you two to make a video again! Not just a Q&A, but like, camera magic extravaganza!
Chris Ramsay you can't do camera tricks!!!!! You are a real magician!!!! kkkkk
Hahaha! Same!
😂🤘🏻🤘🏻😂😂😂
😂😂
I know this was two years ago, but these effects and learning them has made me happy. I can't wait to get this down pact and use these tips. Thanks man.
I totally love these tutorials/vlog videos. I spent months and months looking for someone like Pete. Absolutely amazing, funny, and the most important NOT annoying at all!
Thanks for all your hard work buddy! Can't wait to see more of your videos!!
Alex.
That was incredible! Love how passionate you are about this!! :)
the second trick I've done it but instead of masking I've use the crop effect and then keying out the image, I think it is a bit faster than doing the mask thing, but it's kinda the same thing at the end. Love the last effect though! I will try that one next ;)
I thought he would do that too!
You rock Pete!! Thanks for your tips - also, we love your energy - you can definitely tell that you are enthusiastic and love what you do. It's great to see work so pure, keep it up!
I LOVE HIS ENERGY ITS MAGNETIC ! ALSO THE DOLLY EFFECT IS AMAZING!
Who needs school when you have Peter???😂
Yeah he's a nice guy
I was thinking of the exact same thing :)

@@johannesfigura2937 any names in your mind ?

Love your tutorials! I started a UA-cam channel with my kid a few weeks ago because of your videos! Basically learned how to work my camera and basic editing from you, it’s been a lot fun!
I 'm with you on that Andy. He has helped me alot...I still have alot of work to do but I'm better than when I first started 😂
Regarding the "dolly zoom", one could also be moving forward while zooming out. It works equally well! Love you and your great work, Peter!
SO! glad you're back! Really needed you!
Made it to the very end. Amazing
*OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT*
Glad you're feeling better Peter as always I enjoyed your videos. Very informative😀👍
I decided that I would get into vlogging just last week and your tutorials have been so helpful! Thanks for adding to my creative outlet!
Have a great day and be creative people! :-)
Steve Captures You too!!
Hi man your videos are sick !
Filip Baader Thanks a lot Filip!
The last effect absolutely blew my mind! It is something subtle but once you notice it 🤯 wow! And you use it so often and I've never noticed ! Good work man
Love you man! Even though I already knew all of these, you package them all together in a nice and entertaining video that makes me wanna watch it & watch it & watch it..
Well done Pete!
Great video my guy. extra cudos on the granny sweater 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Ay mann, "🎶 the best time to wear a wool sweater is all the time🎶"(spongebob voice)🤣🤣. But great video my guy.
Dolly Zoom is a classic camera lens trick first used by Alfred Hitchcock in "Vertigo" where you pan back and while panning back your slowing zooming in at the same speed to create the effect of distortion around the subject. #lesson
+COMET212 #thankyou
that's also why it's called a Vertigo Effect
COMET212 Basically, you are distorting the perspective, which gives it that cosmic look.
was searching for this comment :D
You can do the same thing moving forward as well. In my opinion it works even better this way.
Dude AMAZING GROWTH!! I remember subbing to you when you had about 100k subs! Well deserved growth! Your videos have greatly helped my youtube quality. And I am still learning. Thanks for the help!
I've been on a Peter binge and YOU ARE CHANGING MY LIFE! What the heck?!
Without further adieu, i will use the dolly zoom 😃 thank you Peter 👍👊
right!?
do you have LUTS pack of PM ?
Same here
Wait what! The little Steven grab was so sick!
The Wanderful Lyfe sooo sick
Wow always wondered how that frame blending effect was done. Seen quite a few vloggers do that and always thought that's cool. As for the last one just didn't understand what was going on at all. Maybe it's just to early in the morning and I need so coffee. Glad your feeling better. 👍
You are a genius browwww..Thanks a lot for your crazy editing tips and techniques !!!!!
Keep up the positivity and good content!
Dude, I'm going to try this all the time. xx

This is great, I have been using a variation of the dolly zoom in my videos when flying forward I zoom out, looks super trippy. Used it in a couple of my films. Love the effect.
That dolly zoom looks amazing!! Def going to try this out! Thanks Peter :)
Thank you for these amazing tricks! You're such an big inspiration !
Tolga hugely inspiring.

Dope was jacket bro.
Hey I just wanted to say THANKYOU. I’m a disabled veteran and sold my guns and bought a camera. I’ve had more fun shooting pictures than I have firing firearms in a long time. And learning has gotten my mind off other things that aren’t pleasant. Keep up the great work.
A camera trick Ive been using lately is beginning and ending my shot with with a quick whip in any direction! I love the look it gives when you put it next to another clip with the same whip. Blends super nicely!
is it not a vertigo effect which Alfred Hitchcock used in Vertigo and then Spielberg in Jaws? Agree, this effect looks insane!
Hey Pete, could you do the dolly zoom trick with a zoom lense rather than in post? Just thought it would help keep up the resolution
Joe MacInnes you can, the only issue with that is just keeping the camera stable while pulling focus.
Yes the proper way to do it is by zooming when you are dollying back - that's how it's been done in films for decades (before digital effects even existed). So definitely try it that way!
Finally! I was wondering how you dealt with the instant transitions. LOVE IT.
He's such a good teacher, he made everything easy
Who knit your sweater Peter? It looks so cozy, beautiful work! Thanks for the tips.
Knit Style nice spice up can we talk more on my instagram page follow up I promise to follow back @iammauric_anderson

I agree.
In my last vlog I did like a little effect. Many people missed it. But the ones who didn’t appreciated it a lot so it was worth it.
