Despite I do most of my videos together with my husband filming me doing my art works, I really love your motivating explanations and how you put things together. Any time I watch one of your videos I aspire new ideas. Keep this up!
I just tuned into your channel for the first time. What I like about this video is that your lighting looks totally natural, like it's pure window light.
i love this guy.. starts off strong telling us how to film ourselves and then rambles on about coffee (expected lol) and then finishes off by telling how we can film ourselves without actually telling us how to film ourselves. LOVE IT. keep up the good work man hahaha.
You make it sound SO much simpler than it actually is though. It's challenging getting into that creative flow for this stuff if you haven't had a lot of time in the game shooting like that. Goals!
I am blown away by this video. I am only 6 months into the UA-cam creative game and this was the best and most innovative video I have watched. I never thought of obscure and different angles. WOW! Thank you so much and I subscribed and hit the bell notification.
Man, this video was SUPER helpful! I have been working to learn some ways to incorporate B-Roll into my videos in a way that makes sense and adds value to the video itself. These tips for getting those cool shots even when solo helped me get some new ideas and thoughts for how to apply those techniques to my guitar tutorial videos, thanks so much Peter!
I know, I can see you calling about 5 friends and you still don't get the help. Very disappointed. BUT, I can see you are not giving up and this shows me the courage that no matter what, you help yourself to accomplish your task. Very encouraging.
He is not. He is really not. These guys on youtube that are having some skills in editing and commercial videos are don't have the ambition and idea to create actual features. Writing a good script that tells something interesting and makes people get interested and then making an actual movie about it is something else. It's something that these guys can't do. They are good what they do in here but they are not film makers. They are creating clips and videos about some part of their lifes. Making an actual feature lenght movie which is GOOD is not something what you can learn in school. Nolan for example learned everything own his own made a neo noir movie brought it to a festival it did good he had the script ready for the Memento, showed it to a producer who was interested and the rest is history.
You are a Don of film making and youtube in general! I find myself more often then not now in a place where I don't pick up my camera due to lack of motivation or just simply not knowing how to get the results I want with the small amount of equipment I own. Then I come back and watch your videos, old and new and it always inspires new ideas and clips that I'd like to capture. I'd love to be able to film at your level one day but I'm still an average joe capturing average footage.
*_Please Please Answer this Question_* ???? How do I become a cinematographer? Where do I begin? All my life I wanted to become a Vet. I statrted my path in vet school and 2years shy of graduating. My husband had an acciendent long story short. .... after all my husband surgeries and physical therapy I went back to school and began to work at an animal hospital. But I felt empty. I was not enjoying it. Somehow I found *_UA-cam_* and began to upload vlogs. However I always liked adding B-roll to my vlogs but not every single Vlog because it takes time. After a year of doing UA-cam I have found that I really really enjoy being around a camera learning how to be creative and you are my Professor I look up to you. Thank you. For all your knowledge
Become a vet anyways. Film your life doing that. People love animals. And you can draw attention to good causes like like adopting! Look at the Dodo!!!
so what ur saying is. . .after about 12 hours or so of labor-intensive work, i will have a nicely polished 6 minute video. i think ill just keep watching ur vids.
"About recording yourself": 1) we are looking for one that knows how to record and make good positions, of course those people that know do not want to contribute for our projects 2) The people that are motivated to learn, but they don't know how to record, just we skip them. This is the problem with all the projects and jobs.
I'm starting my youtube channel and I was originally going to do just tutorials or editing photos only but I found you and you inspire me to expand my photography to take it to a whole new level thank you so much!
This is one of my struggles, how to even look at the camera when I am filming myself..this video is very helpful. Thanks..i hope i improve after watching this...all the best
