    You gotta roast them first without seasoning if you want them to be crunchy. I tried this method before and the chickpeas came out chewy

    They are crunchier if you season after roasting.

    2 cans chickpeas
    1 tbsp cumin
    1 tbsp granulated garlic
    1 tbsp paprika
    1-2 tsp Salt
    1 tbsp Honey
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    1 tbsp sriracha
    Roast on lined cookie sheet 350 deg., 20 minutes.
    Add to hot chickpeas, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp sriracha
    Return to oven - check every 5 minutes - until crisp.

    My movie snacks are honey roasted cashews kettle corn and now imma have to look into getting some honey roasted chick peas Publix or whole foods here I come

    I'm using non canned chick peas. I soaked them overnight. Would they work the same?

    I have raw chickpeas only. Can I substitute this instead of chickpeas in a can and how? Thank you.

      Soak it overnight, drain and use it

    Juice of half a lemon would probably be better, so not so much liquid to wash off spices.

    Recipe is great. Presentation is great, but I hope you don't mind my saying, but you need to have a barrette or something to keep your hair back. It keeps falling over half your face.
