Nice review as always. Interestingly, Princess Principal was one of my personal recommendation for the season (alongside Re:Creators and Made in Abyss) so it's nice to see someone else mentioning it. Although there's some potential for better execution of the overarching key plot, I still find it enjoyable.
Some thoughts on Classroom of the Elite since you mentioned it. The anime does make me interested to check out the source light novel in near future. Apart from the amount of fanservice in the show, I was somewhat uncertain whether the lacking potential I felt in regards to plot execution and the characters were due to the source material or poor adaptation. The idea of having Shiba Tatsuya with mentality of Hachiman in a school setting similar to Assassination Classroom's kept me interested with the series and I personally am immune to common flaws of LN adaptations at this point. Already heard some changes between LN and anime from discussions so I probably have to read it myself to know.
This also reminds me to actually start watching Boku no Hero Academia since S3 is announced. There seems to be quite a few other S3 announcement, like Toaru Majutsu no Index and SAO so there's something for me to look forward to I guess.

5:19 Exactly! Most Ufotable shows have shit stories, Fate Zero and Kara no Kyoukai are the exceptions. So many people act like this isn't true.
TCC Ufo needs to find some good source material instead of whoring themselves out to Bandai. Like you know... *cough cough* BERSERK.
1:10 The problem I had with Princess Principal was the age of them. The entire show is an instant hit, if the characters were like 18+ maybe even 16. But they are so young, it really hurt my immersion seeing little girls murder people in a WW1/WW2 era clothes and setting. Just so ridiculous to watch. So after the first episode I dropped it :/.
Since you didn’t put it here, I would highly recommend Gamers! from this season. It’s a rom com, but it actually goes against a lot of those tropes and has very well-developed characters.
You might be the first person I ever heard to even mention Symphogear in such a video. So please keep at it and watch it at some point^^

I agree with all except made in abyss I found it to be a binge watch anime rather than weekly watched maybe give it another try if you've found the pacing to be a problem
Indeed you are watching everything. I hear a little bit of anime burn out in your critique, maybe you should start dropping some stuff. About Classroom of the Elite, i was surprised of how decent it was when i expected Asterisk War 2.0.
The show is no masterpiece and the problem of general direction you mentioned is definitely there, but i liked the main character because he was different. Don't get me wrong, he seems like the general OP standard protagonist, but the way he influences (to not say manipulates) the story in the background and his own background itself, that has a bit of the Zankyou no Terror kids, is enough to make him interesting for me. The concept alone can also be quite an interesting social experiment, but it is not really well executed so it has no real pull ... yet(potential?). In addition it has quite a decent endpoint where you can see quite well what will happen next without having a total cliffhanger.
(It also has the worst episode of the season with episode (i think it was) 7 that destroyed build up of earlier episodes by playing to one stupid joke and that should be skipped under any circumstances because it seems to exist outside of the usual story with no impact on the characters.)
