Thank you for The Kubikiri Cycle, I missed it completely. Don't know how good it is but I love Nisio adaptations, and Shaft is a great studio so hope are high)
P.S I finished it, it was great. I love this creators combo. This is my second favorite of his adaptation right after MSS

My personal favourite unpopular show this year was Sakurada Reset. For a show about super powers and time travel it sure had some very good writing albeit a bit slow and it’s not like it was totally forgotten either it placed 20th on the top 50 anime of 2017 poll which 2chan did.
You didn’t like saigatsu no lion’s first episode? What is wrong with you? It’s visual storytelling was magnificent.

I realy enjoyed all anime that you listed also. -With exception of- Recovery of an MMO Junkie I finally finished, and it was enjoyable, I still dont love this show like most but it is solid. Thanks for good content

I don’t think Girls Last Tour was overlooked, in fact, it was the “patrician” anime of the season that many people talked about.
From the description: "not-so-popular" is not necessarily the same as "disliked" or "unpopular". This is not a list of the most absolutely obscure anime I saw this year. This is a list of my favorite series that were not popular enough to make it into my last video.
Grex I understand what you mean, but the title is just too vague. To define a “popular” show is difficult in of itself, and to define a “not-so-popular show is even harder. As long as it is not SAO, pretty much anything fits that moniker.
Hence, "not-so-popular" for this context is strictly defined as any anime which was not present in my previous video. I feel I explain that very clearly in the first 30 seconds.
But most of this list is mediocre
Again, how was land of the lustrous overlooked? We’re you just struggling to fill the list?
Responding here not to bloat my other comment. According to MAL, which is the database I use to vaguely determine "popularity" for these videos, at the time of this writing Girls' Last Tour was only the 12th most popular anime of the Fall season, and Land of the Lustrous the 14th.
