I can’t activate the turn signal with my left thumb if I’m squeezing in the clutch. Apparently you have to have a 9 inch thumb to do it. I literally have to reach over with my right hand and hit it
You would have really not liked the previous Ninja 650 then. It was about 210kg until 2017 when it lost about 20kg and got more midrange torque. That transformed the bike for me, and I still loved the 2012-2016 version as flawed as it was. The current Ninja 650 is a highly underrated bike.
good to see that content, been wondering about the difference for ages but never taken one for a ride :) Good work! keep it up! Be keen to know/see difference between 400 and zx6r also
Yeah, I will get on and do a review of the 400 I think... And then the ZX6R.. I sort of covered the primary differences, but may I do a ride of both :) Thanks for the support Liz! Really do appreciate it
I have the KRT ABS and i think it’s a perfect bike especially for beginners. Although I didn’t like how quiet it was from factory, I went out and got a Akrapovic Racing Line Titanium exhaust system and it’s just sex to my ears. Set me back $850 but totally worth it.
@@chaotic.blondei agree with you being careful, I ride around Taranaki every weekend and find my speed has reduced quite considerably due to the fun police and yes what they don't know won't hurt them😉
I know Harleys wouldnt be your "cup of tea", but can you please do a ride review on one? Just borrow one of the Harley shop test ride bikes, would love to see it. Keep safe, from CJ in Chch.
Didn’t even think to see if you had a you tube 🤦🏼♂️. Will stop asking for your comments on Instagram re this bike now lol (biking dad) the wife saw me popping back from getting my tire today and said the 400 is too small for me so a 650 is getting nearer. Ninja or CBR. Weird to see it’s not summer there.
Chaotic Blonde yes got a full license used to have super bikes in the 90’s last bike was a YZF750 SP, just got back into bikes and just don’t want mad super bikes that get me in trouble anymore (and in the case of the YZF750 a broken back 😂) just want to get to work and have a bit of fun now and again....
@@chaotic.blonde i got both. The njnja 650 is no track bike. Suspension is way too soft kn the 650..which means at speeds ot can dip and pogo stick bike out of corners. 650 is made to be soft aka commuter bike. I love my 650 for light cruising but ive been dialing in suspension for years on moto bikes and the 2020 636 showa forks are awesome. You can really dial them in for every riders weight and skill. I had too swap out the forks inners kn my 650 just too soft with no adjustments. So my 650 is a little better in handling at speeds
@@dbirds21 In NZ, a lot of people do compare the full power 650 to the 636. Due to my size, I’m giving my own, honest opinion, on the handling of each in a very brief part of the entire video. I find the 400/650 easier to manage on the track than my 636, which has been set up and dialled in by Dave Moss personally. Each to their own, but that’s my little bit.
Your a differdnt rider. J weigh 185 pounds which really sinks those forks on the 650. Its better with the fork uograde..j even put a yoshi full exhaust and ecu flash so 650 is a little quicker but the power on the 2020 636 is just ballistic. Me just putting more compression and slower rebound on showa forks allows me to add more speed into corners. Surprisingly the 650 rips wheelies really good. The 636 is a bike that still scares me a bit and i have to respect it alot more. It is fast........very fast....
I love my Ninja 650 too, I want to upgrade but waiting for Kawasaki to update their 636 with a TFT display and Autoblipper

Love the review! I just bought the 2021 650 ninja today 🥰 so excited for the spring 🎉
Woohoo! Congrats!
Girl you're winning the GP of the work commite oooh yeeeeeeeeeargh. Love your videos!
Nice review! the dashboard and windshield looks so nice, it gives the bike that sporty looks ay
For sure! Keen to test this thing on some solid roads next!
I know it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Jamie Alvaro i watch on flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Zayd Elijah yup, have been watching on Flixzone for months myself :)
@Zayd Elijah definitely, I have been using Flixzone for months myself =)
Picked your from NZ as soon as I heard your voice. Hi from South Australia, great video.
Haha! Kiwi land
@@chaotic.blonde have you ridden the Z650? These are the two bikes im thinking about. Right now i ride a ninja 300.
Thanks al the best.
@@sonkaldo yes sure have! We had a Z650 in the garage... prefer the Ninja650 as the wind on the Z was a bit much on the motorway commute :)
Great review of the 650. I have the Ninja 400 Pearl White (for 1 month) and am looking at the 650...Be safe!
Just the Facts good choice to consider! You’ll love the torque delivery over the 400
Are you looking for a big increase in power?
Nice review, and a very cool bike! 👍👍👍
Completely awesome! Thanks for sharing..
Appreciate it :) Not a conventional review, being that I was in a rush, not purposely doing one, but it's a genuine first thoughts anyway!

Umm... the levers for both the clutch and brakes are adjustable on the 2020.
Hence why I adjusted them once I had come to a stop.
Yes they are. You can do it at a stop light, it's easy.

That’s awesome to hear! Yeah I’d love to hear this bad boy with something more aggressive on it
Hi, how tall are you if you don't mind the question? Thank you!
Trofin Emilian I’m 5ft 1 :) or 156cm
These videos are great 👍 good to get a kiwi perspective on these bikes, the international reviews seem a bit removed from our roads and rule system
cool ride i enjoyed all vlog pretty and simple
Good self control there girl.. i would find it very difficult to stick to the speed limit along the Auckland motorway. 👌👍
Blair Jury that 1km over and you’re done nonsense has got me a little careful... I may have also edited out those bits for the PC brigade 🤣

Also 100% make that "Squid Spotting" channel, great idea
Omg you are soo happy!
triasainto who isn’t happy when they’re riding!
Ótimo vídeo, parabéns! Kawasaki são as melhores!

I will try get my hands on one for you!
Always helps if you can reach the clutch and brake levers 🤣 👍
HAHA, can you tell someone hasn't ridden road bikes in a wee while.... It made for a fun ride haha
They are adjustable, thankfully.
Was the speedo in km or miles (I am a km guy)
KM
You've only been riding for 2 years????
You're way smoother in your turns than any of the "top" youtube channels..

Daniel Witt-Morris would you go the full power version?

ride this bike on a L PLATE?
Gareth Mcnally can be - I’ve got my full so don’t need to run it :)
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌❤❤❤❤❤!!!
Los Squid is soo lucky
I had the 2017 model. That's a fine bike.
I also left a review... Check it out.
🙂👍✌
The 636 should not be compared to a 650. 636 is a much much much better more powerful bike in every aspect. It also handles much much better
After owning a 636 for a year, I’d say both the 400 and 650 handle better, and easier. This includes track time on all.
