Awesome review and info. At 56 I still have that yearning to ride my first bike, doing a lot of research on what bike I like and considering for beginners like myself, I have loved Kawasaki Ninja line since the early 90's. Fell in love with the Green 💚🖤💚. Some day I will ride
Thank you for the review :) . I'm going to buy this bike in April. It's just about perfect for Indian roads, considering our crappy traffic and road sense. This won't kill you , and won't fry your legs in traffic.
Thanks, you are the first to say we don't need to remove the stoke muffler, because it is discret and silent. Cool review. Maybe an upload with less compression? or it's me I see in 1080p but pixeled. How do you attached you camera to your helmet? Thanks in advance.
I'll be honest just brought a ninja 650 and was looking at reviews, this has to be the best 2 I have watched. Makes me feel really comfortable with my purchase. It arrives in 4 days. Thx
Just wanted to say love your videos, picking my ninja 650 up next week Full license passed my test last week on a bike so no restrictions, we definitely interesting to see what the bacon do when it’s not restricted. They say it can go 135 to 137 miles an hour
David Barnes I’ve managed to get to 218 on my Ninja 400, so this thing for sure will fly a lot quicker. Certainly a good choice of bike! And congrats. I jumped on my 636 yesterday and my back instantly began hurting (old age... it must be) so I’m really rating this bike as the perfect step up from a 250/300/400 for those that aren’t power hungry.
@@chaotic.blonde as far as I'm aware, Ninja 650 unrestricted goes to 199kmph. There's a few videos of people trying it on Autobahn. 650 is made to be a lot more mellow. Ninja 400 is a lot more high revving in comparison. 10k vs 13k I believe.
Thanks for the review of the bike. Found it really helpful. I passed my test 17 years ago so have a full bike license but I haven’t ridden since. I’m planning on doing a refresher day with the local bike instructor company before I buy. I am completely torn between ninja 400 and 650. Leaning slightly in the direction of 650 as from what I’ve read it’ll last me longer and isn’t crazy power for a new rider. Be interested to get your thoughts or if you could make a video on a side by side comparison that would be amazing. From the forums I’ve been on this is a common decision people have. Thanks again
Kevin Holditch It seems so many people are... it’s crazy. I might have to do a cross compare while I’ve got it, as it’s a common discussion. I’ve got the benefit of weight, being only 55kg, so I can jump on a 250 and make it hussle a little more than most who weigh around that 80-90kg mark, so the 400 really suits me, but that additional torque of the 650 will help the bigger guys get moving a lot easier. It’s handling is very underrated and even surprised me! I think you’d be happy with the 650 for longevity... like I mentioned at the end, if I had the 650, it would have delayed my 636 purchase as I had more usable power. But it is personal preference at the end of the day... the 400 however does make an epic track weapon as it’s so agile 👌🏼
Hey good review! Kevin I have the 2020 full fat version of the 650 and I would recommend this over the 400. Not because the 400 is bad it’s not it’s a lovely bike, sat on both bikes and the 636 in the dealership here in the (UK) , the 650 is very agile like the 400 but for the overtaking you have to plan your manoeuvre where as the 650 just wants to fly!
If you have the extra money get the Ninja650-0 to 100k(0 to 60 mph)in under 4 seconds, the insurance is a little more than the ninja400 but alot I mean alot less than the ZX6R
Thanks for the review. I am a learner and rode an old Ninja 250... Love that bike. I was thinking of a Vulcan S but I like my Red Ninja too much. What's it like comfort wise after a long ride.? After an hour and an half on the 250 I really really want to get off.
It’s seating position is relatively upright and to be fair, no issues with being sore/wanting to take a break. I rode 1,600kms over 3 days on my Ninja 400 (very much identical in terms of positioning) and was super comfortable!
What u suggest bettweeen ninja 650lams or cbr 650 r lams , as I am stuck in choosing between these 2 beauties as my ist bike here in Sydney ? Any suggestion plz
It’s only a few more peak hp more on this restricted 650. The 400 is much more powerful than the 300. The difference is midrange torque. The full power 650 is noticeably quicker.

Here in Canada the ninja 650 is rated at 67 Horsepower, and from 0 to 100k the ninja 650 and zx6r are about the same. Thanks for the review.
Cool review! I'd love to see how that bike handles in corners when there's no traffic.
Insurance rates for A 636 vs A 650 for me are more than double and we do not technically have restrictions in the U.S.
Nice Review!!! Hi from Auckland :). Just bought my Ninja 400, its an awesome bike!!!
Just gotten super stoked on bikes. It was the Ninja 650 that got me interested! This vid is great :D

Pretty refreshing review, thanks very much and greetings from Spain :)
Cool review, hopefully planning on buying it whenever I get my license..
Mrmcfeffers awesome! Will be a great bike to have a jam on once you’ve got your licence :)

Hey, which bike did You finally buy ? I'm at Your point right now and wondering whether 650 would be enough. Best greetings from Poland :)

Great Ninja review 👍
Can u reach the floor when sitting on it
Would you recommend the 650 over the 400 for freeway riding or is a 400 fine?
Depends what the average speed is you’ll be doing. The 650 will do it more easily without feeling like you’re wringing it’s neck like the 400
@@chaotic.blonde around 70 to 80 mph
@@jaredorpilla8594 I think you’d find the 650 a lot more comfortable at those speeds :)
@@chaotic.blonde yee. Good look
Great video
You currently own both zx6r & 650? Im currently saving money to get a zx6r.
Just 636 & 400 :)
My step up from the 300.
Cool review hope you will do a review like this with the 636 :)
I need too!
How tall are you?
5ft 1 or 156cm
Lol that plate though... 😂😂😂
Awesome video 👍🏾💯🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
💚💚💚💚
please shift up gear to 4 if speed more 80 km/h
I’ll use my ears to shift, but thanks for the tip 🤦🏼♀️
That rear reg holder PLEASE CHANGE otherwise great video.
It’s a borrowed bike from Kawasaki NZ so unable too - sorry!
@@chaotic.blonde it makes the bike look bad the long new one.
The small tucked u der the seat reg plate should be there imo.

i take that the speedo is kmh and not mph or she wouldnt be a chaotic blonde she would be a looney toon
Yes KMs :) haha’
@@chaotic.blonde and that would be 1 hell of a bloody fast bike
that would be so crappy to be restricted on everything by government.
Only while you’re a learner :D then it’s a free for all!
I bet you're popular with the guys, since there aren't that many women who ride.
