Unreal! You should do a walkthrough video tutorial for this! This is the best cover of the Stranger Things theme on UA-cam, imo.. I'm sure a lot of people would want to see that!

Really great stuff. You nailed the sound! In our opinion the Behringer DM series are really well put together. We really love to patch on this little DM6 and dig how simple that is because of the incredible OS.

Brilliant and better than the Behringer original I saw today. Brighter, cleaner and so much like the original. Extremely well done.
How do you like the Deep Mind 6? I have been debating the 6 (which will fit in my small space better) or the 12. But either one I need keys, I just prefer the interaction.

@pizza time I actually ended up buying the deepmind 12, which depending on where you live can be had used for less than 600$. But ofc only diffrence is amount of voices. I would say get the deepmind 6 over the korg, because i feel like for every feature the minilogue has in advantage, deepmind blows it out of the water just because it has the mod matrix and a huge fx engine. The only real downside with deepmind is that the synth engine prefers roland type sounds, so doing korg, moog, or yamaha type sounds, will always leave you at something that sounds 95% like that synth manufacturer, rather than 100%. But deepmind can do so many more sounds than any of the classic synths so it doesn't really matter at all. Deepmind can be a bit much for a beginner to try to figure out some of the more complex patching, but i'm sure anyone who takes the time can do it. I would get the deepmind 6 over minilogue any day of the week because i was really looking for the kind of sounds this does best. Only get the korg if you have several synths already, or you really like korg sounds. It otherwise only really offers simplicity and ease of use.

@pizza time i have a sort of love/hate relationship with mine. things to note are: it's a bit quiet, so you have to invest some time in gain-staging, you can't overdrive the filter or vca, and it sort of doesn't want to sound really agressive. but the modulation possibilities are far better than anything near its price. the keyboard is actually quite good, and i would completely trust the synth in a live setting. fx sound good, but i really only use reverb, delay and compression. If you like tiny menus, the possibilities are endless, but tbh i can't be bothered. it can be a bit difficult to program at times, but with a bit of effort, it usually sounds very good and it does a bunch of sounds that i've never heard an analog synth make. if you get it, I'd recommend the 12-voice tho. you can stack the voices, and with 6 voices, that's a bit limiting.

Out of all the analog re makes these days, this synth is the most legit. It's ability to sound like a true VCO analog from the early poly days is amazing. Not even sequential has the sound this and the DP12 have. Astounding.

@@montazownianr1 Nah man. It's got a bass boost that actually makes the thing too heavy in the bottom end at times. Flexibility is the name of the game here

@@montazownianr1 I tend to agree, from what I’ve heard so far. Check out this video title “Luke Neptune’s soundtrack soundset for rev2 OUT NOW” .. 57 seconds in, the same Stranger Things theme is played on the Prophet… I’d love to hear someone try to get the Deepmind closer to that chest rattling bass (not sure if its possible without heavy post processing)
