The only issue I think you missed is that those 'C' brackets are not all the same. There are 2 bent for left-side and 2 for the right-side. PITA to know which 2 for each side.

Another great and informative video. Unfortunately, for me, installation is not as easy as it looks. I read one of the comments below regarding dealer installation, but my dealer made it clear they will not install anything that is not a genuine GM part. Are you aware of any shops in S. Florida (or even the Tampa area) that does this kind of installation. Also, do you have any concern that the grills might lead to overheating issues, particularly when tracking the car?

Hi Matt. For your C8, do you experience any woofing or booming sound from air noise with the top down? I heard someone else state they have a woofing or booming sound on the C8 coupe with the targa top off.
Nope, love driving with the top down!
If you install those and have a problem with the engine or transmission that GM determines was caused by overheating it will not be covered by warranty as stated by Tadge, the Chief Engineer for Corvette.
you can always take them off before visiting the dealer if you ever have any problem.
We have track tested our grill guards. No overheating issues whatsoever.

Can I ask what car jack you have? I wanna get one that works on the c8. Also, where do you position the jack stands after you lift it because if the jack is on the pad, then where do you put the stand?
I got it from harbour freight. And I put the Jack stand where you’ll see a cut out in the rocker panel which has access to the frame.
i notice u have the ATTACK BLUE PERFORMANCE FILTER from TKO Performance...is this similar to the AFE MAGNUM FLOW PRO 5R AIR FILTER from Paragon Performance
I believe so but I’m not sure as I havnt messed around with afe air filter.

@@dohabandit that was from the Birthday Bash at the NCM last month. The question was asked of Tadge and he did make the statement you mentioned. I would hope that just driving on the street would be ok. Tracking you car potentially not. I wish there would have been a follow up question regarding how the fins getting hit over time would affect the cooling. In that case is that on GM?
