This came at the right time. God works in mysterious ways. Yes, I've been dealing with dark thoughts, a battle of the mind. Learning I need to let go and let God do his work. Tired of letting pride make me think I can do it all alone as well.
I always refer to yin and yang when understanding contrasts in life. We inherent imperfections to feel happiness by finding strength to resolve our problems in suffering. It gives us guidance to question our existence, and to take action to discover whether we succeed or not in finding the answers. That journey is the accumulation of life experiences that really serves no purpose as a means to an end because death is our only destination. The focus of either side disrupts the balance which creates chaos and turbulence within our minds. Letting go is a crucial part that allows harmony to bring peace once again, but it's not a definitive state that lasts forever. The ebb and flow of life is the truth, and we only stagnate as individuals by stopping the flow for whatever reasons we have. Not to say that all lives are equal or fair, but we are bound to the same rules that dictate the course of life.
I was on a mountain in mexico watching a sunset and this guy comes to me [a total gee, crazy energy and wisdom] i tell him i feel very frail and week right now, and he answers me "yeah but thats what makes you strong" and it changed my perspective a while bunch
We are perfect with our imperfections.. our imperfections makes us perfect For what we are at each moment Perfection is existence Perfection is a song or the rustle of the stars Uma bela melodia Beautiful chords And thrilling subtleties Perfection is a song or the sunlight in your eyes A sweet melody of words and glances Beautiful chords of tears and laughter And the thrilling subtleties of your gestures make you so
great video, i took a lot from it. one thing to add; instead of “evolution” for the origin of being self critical, i would rather call it “emotional trauma”, where unconcious caretakers that are self-critical reflect it on the children because they cannot acknowledge their imperfections in themselves (/have m learn to see the imperfections as something to avoid), thus cannot accept a child when they show that imperfection, because the caretaker themselves learned to avoid/punish inperfections (so it becomes a sort conditional love where you learn you dont belong unless you are self critical)
4:36 (...10:18) A Buddhist Koan says: "The master holds the disciple's head underwater for a long, long time; gradually the bubbles become fewer; at the last moment, the master pulls the disciple out and revives him : when you have craved truth as you crave air, then you will know what truth is." (r barthes, 'a lover's discourse: fragments', 1977)
I think the systems we have in place in this society instill a distorted sense of who we really are. Perhaps that's what you're feeling? It's not really you nor your fault? We don't have any idea how amazing or how loved we are.. it's beyond us. We're beyond amazing.. in retrospect.. In this moment I wish we could feel how loved we are... how brave we are... how enough we are... I look at you.. at us.. and I just think... wow... if only we knew..
Your mind is brilliant; keep talking to us please!! Inviting the weakness IS strength, yes thank you
That New York accent when you said "all aura gone" was authentic
The tree metaphor was really wise ngl
Dreams are very magical, Lisa.
You're a blessing from the universe. Describing my life of the last 7 years while I was living in my micro unit.

Dreams are Magikal, Lisa.
I think that the symbol of Christ on the cross was an attempt to demonstrate the act of weakness and suffering as a transformative prosses.
