- This is the 6th Month Rogaine Results and update. I've been using only minoxidil to battle hair loss and seeing some great results.
For the past few years, I've noticed that my hair was thinning, especially the crown of my head so I decided to do something about it! In this series of videos, I give you month by month updates and share the entire journey of my hair loss and hair re-growth.

What questions do you have about Rogaine or Minoxidil?
How long does it take to see results?? Any side effects?? And do you have to continue using it once you get preferred results? Or if you stop will your hair fall out again??
Did you know that minoxidil has a half-life of 18 hours? Meaning that up to those 18 hours after application, it's fully effective. So you only need to apply it once. The reason why the packet says to apply it twice is because during the initial testing of minoxidil, patients had to apply it twice, morning and night. Doctors later realized that it wasn't necessary to apply more than once within 24 hours. Long story short, you're fine applying it once and you save a lot of money that way.

That's really great. I'm also 30 years old. I've been shaving my head for the past couple of years, but in March I decided to grow it back. I've been using minoxidil for the past 22 days, and I noticed that for the last few days there's been a lot of shedding. It's good to know that it's normal. Hopefully in a few months there'll be some great results.

My hair started thinning out at the age of 18, it started getting embarrassing, so these progress videos convinced me to try it & I’ve been using it for 2 months now & I’ve noticed a huge increase in hair volume, I can finally go out without a hat & feel good about it, definitely have to be consistent with it though, these progress videos definitely motivated me to try it & that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, thank you for the videos keep it up!!!

Ash yes it really is working, & I’m sure I’ve been having hair thinning problems since I was in Highschool so it started around 16-17 I’d say and I’m 19 now, so it’s fair to say I was going bald very young. Needless to say I had my doubts with using minoxidil but so far it has been working for me, even other people have told me my hair looks a lot fuller, makes me feel great & look great 👍🏻,
Khalid besides the hassle of making it a routine to do it every night, I have not noticed any side effects whatsoever. It says to put on twice a day but I did my research & that was false, once a day is perfectly fine, putting more will not make more hair come out. I’d highly recommended using, can’t get any worse right? Goodluck!!

I don’t think it matters. As long as it has minox, you should be fine.

I'm at the end of month 5 and great results so far. I've been getting my hair cut short for the last 3 months. Number 2 on top. I don't think I would even go back to having long hair. So much easier this way to maintain.

@@morpheusmorph13 yes first 2.5 months major shed. It was really bad to the point I shaved my head completely. It does run in the family. I didn't see any results until month 4 but it was worth it for me going through all that initial shed.

I am using for 1.5 months. Good results. I am using minoxidil 5 % and Finasteride 1 mg

Typically it won't work as well in the front, but can at least keep it from falling out more. I use it with topical Propecia, and like the results so far.

Hey man i just wanna say thank you, i started rogaine when you where at month 2-3, i took a leap of faith cause i didn’t if it was gonna work and i saw so many videos on rogaine and none that i could see the real results, thank you for your videos, i’m on my second month now and i can alredy see the results im also on finasteride tho but if it wasn’t for your videos i wasn’t gonna do the jump.

You're definitely a hyper responder with the minoxidil. It was funny when you went through that shedding phase and what you had to say about it, I've been there lol. Anyway man rock the hair while you have it, but should things change for you I can tell you the shaved head looked good as well. I'm to the point where that just feels like the easiest alternative myself because hair maintenance is a drag.

Hey man great job and I’ve been following your results. I’ve been on minoxidil Walmart brand for 12 weeks and there’s def little improvement but I never really had that shedding phase. I’m losing like 10 hairs/day when I apply minoxidil and massage it in but that’s pretty much it.
Saleem Javaid not everyone sheds and unfortunately not everyone sees results. But just because you don’t shed doesn’t mean you won’t see results.

LindsayCeara it worked for like first 3 months and my hair got thicker. Then it stopped working. I still use minox as maintenance but my hair loss is getting worse.

I'm on my 7th week with Rogaine. Been also taking supplements, and oral+topical of: Saw palmetto, PSO, rosemary oil, nettle leaf; and soon adding collagen and MSM to my regimen. My balding is SEVERE , been balding since 17 and I'm 26 now. With these treatments there are new hairs which were not there before, they're still thin but slowly becoming thicker, and I mean agonizingly slowly. Regrowing hair needs A LOT of patience, even more patience than weight loss or bodybuilding regimen, the process is very slow and can be discouraging in the beginning.

only monoxidil is doing that to u, saw palmeto is trash no better then placibo then the study. get on fin and keep using monoxidil thats the gold standard. and to double the results of monoxidil use derma roller.
If I may ask, what specifically are u taking, you seem to kno ur stuff. I'm gonna order some more stuff for hair regrowth on Amazon and get on a more extensive hair regrowth regimen like yours, any advice and recommendations are a huge appreciation. 🙏

Just need to know If you washed the hair daily(with cold warm or hot water) and did you shampoo once a week or different? Does Rogaine have to remain 8 hours before washing?

im 19. I found what helped me was getting a buzz cut. My theory was the minoxidil would absorb better with less hair in the way. Month 3 and my hair is getting a lot thicker (not completely restored but getting WAY better). Fortunate for me, I did not go through a shedding phase. If I did, I didn't notice it. I only do it once a day before I go to sleep. It works, just stick to it!

I followed your hair evolution through the months and at 3-4months I got the same results as you which made me very happy. I’m 4 months on rogaine now. I’ve only been using it on my hairline as it’s slightly receded, hair has come through however it takes such a long time, you just have to be patient. I feel like if it continues to grow as it’s doing now it would take around a year until I’m satisfied - but that’s if It does

Been using the foam one for about two months on my front hairline. Hair has grown a few centimeters (grows slow) but results coming in 🙏🏼🙏🏼👏🏼 Im 29. My genes don’t lose hair in the front area usually the crown. Depends on your situation everyone varies. Good luck 🙏🏼

@JAY 88 I can give you guys my experiences, i've had weak temples since high school and at 24 the front of my scalp also started to thin, in 3 and a half months of using 5% topical minoxidil (not the shampoo one) i have a better hairline than when i was a teen, my temples are getting filled up and the front is completely restored because i caught it very very early. In six months i can expect a full head of hair, hell it already looks like a full head of hair with a good hairstyle/cut. I don't know if i am a hyper responder but it has been 100% worth it and i don't even use finasteride on top of that, just minoxidil. I used to do fade cuts all the time to cover my weak temples but now i am just going for a bit longer and natural looking hair as i am no longer self aware about my temples.

The best use of La Finasteride is to empty the contents of the 3 capsules from a standard 5 mg to 100 ml Minoxidil, then shake the bottle daily before use for 1 minute, and the spray is used on the hair. Yeah I didn't see any at month 2 either. I started at the beginning of the year and am noticing some action recently. Posted a video about it. I just got a microneedling device as well so hopefully I can get the most out of the minox.
At 2 months rn as well! Currently in the shedding phase and it's extremely humiliating, but that means it should be working! Also, thank goodness for quarantine so no one can see my hair during this phase lol

Trust me you have to keep going! Month two i saw my worst shedding i almost quit. But that is just the weaker hairs being pushed out and now end of month 3 my hair is looking so much better. Keep it up!

if you start minoxidil , make sure you already commit to use it daily for a loooong time / until you get married .. because if you stopped after you see improvement , the balding will be worse later .. its work for at least 2 years , later you will need a microdose of finasteride if you have genetic baldness to maintain it
