I can accept it if my hair start losing around the age of 40+, but losing your hair in your 20's is kind of depressing and frustrating at the same time. because age of 20's is when we start looking to someone to love or dating and also not all of us has that sexy look like The Rock and Jason Statham
I get where you're coming from, but think about it this way: having to shave your head is one of the manliest things you can do. Because it is, in fact, mostly a man's problem. Shaving your head because of hair-loss shows that you're not scared to take challenges head-on. *It's better to be bald than balding.* Instead of focusing on how the loss of your hair hinders you, think about how it can finally push you to perfect those areas in your life that were lacking before. Some people call it "compensating", but really, you're finally seeing beyond that veil of vanity that was shrouding you from other imperfections. Do you think, perhaps, that you're no longer good looking now that your hair is gone? Well, I've got news for you: you probably weren't as good looking as you thought to begin with. A handsome man will be handsome whether he's bald or rocking a full head of hair. *So if you're worried about your looks, this is best incentive to get into the best shape of your life.* You don't have to be the next Jason Statham or Dwayne Johnson, but you can prove how your hair loss doesn't make you weak, it makes you strong; because you're not letting it hold you back.

Rogaine, Minoxidil, comes in 5% as highest dose. By 42 I was over it. My eyes hurt, I felt dizzy all the time. It was a messy pain so I stopped. Now at 45, I'm very bald. It's pretty much all gone. But I am 45 and it's not like being 25 or 35. I had my hair when I really needed it and now I just shave it, not to the skin, but close to the skin. DO I like being bald? Hell no. Yeah same here bud but it worked for me in first 2 weeks of using it with no she'd at all I'm 39 started thinning only slightly this seemed to have reversed it now
I noticed thinning at 18. Started minoxidil at 25 when my mom and friends started mentioning it. Shed like crazy at 3 weeks but took it as a good sign. Now months later the thinning is hardly noticeable (to others).
Been using mino for 12 years now and it has been a life saver. That being said, mino isnt working as well 12 years later, but it has slowed down the process for me and im quite content at 36 years old going on 37. I use it once a day and barely ever miss a day. DO NOT GO OFF OF IT.

Man that feeling you had when you saw that picture of yourself is so relatable it hurts. One day I itched my scalp and felt the coldness of my fingers on my scalp because the hair was so thin. Freaked me out and is legitimately giving me depression. I'm only 28
well, the best solution right now is to get a hair transplant. Its one of the solution but not everyone gets one. Most people don't even use any treatment
My hair started thinning since middle school, I thought it was normal up until I was in sophomore year in highschool. I grew my hair out and I was always doing the side part. I tried the middle part once but one of my friends said I looked bald. I’m now 19 turning 20 and I’m still doing the side part, I can’t get my hair wet or going againts the wind because it’ll reveal my scalp. I wish I could go out and hangout at the pool without feeling insecure about my hair, or being outside on a nice day with my hair free. I might actually try this
hey man im in same boat as you. Don't let something like this kill ya in your youth. im 23 and realizing worrying about the people who will judge me is not worth it. worst they will say in their head is "damn that sucks for him" no one is pointing and laughing. when youre 80 you'll look back and be happy you didn't hide away from just having fun with life
Oh I know how you feel. I feel the wind through my hair and when it’s wet or have oil in it , I hate it. I’m a female who has always had beautiful long hair now. 😔
You can keep your hair after stopping Rogaine/minox if you address scalp health with Nioxin. I use system 2 shampoo and conditioner. It removes sebum and DHT from the scalp and helps address the reasons you’re losing it to begin with. Use Rogaine to regrow it rapidly and maintain with the cleansing system.
He didn’t describe the method of action for Minoxidil. It’s a vaso-dialator, and increases blood flow & oxygen to the hair follicle. That’s why it grows healthier & longer. And yes, it works.
I have been using the stuff for over two years, I've always had really thick hair. I started using it as my hairline on my forehead was getting further back. I have been using Regaine (or Rogaine in the US) foam over and it has worked for me, I really have a full head of hair. I apply it twice a day and haven't looked back. Regaine will work differently for most people depending on your genetics so it will work for some better than others. You have to keep at it for it to work, I know some people give up after a short while. I don't have any side effects but again, some could depending on your genetics.
Bro for how long you used the minoxidil (rogain) to see notable results...plus did you use finasteride (propecia) along side....cause minoxidil alone is not much recommended. And how was your intial shed off when started with minoxidil.....brother please reply to this....means a lot to me
you explained everything necessary for hairloss that took me a few weeks to learn. Huge props, ive been using minoxidil like you and had stopped for awhile and went back, completely agree with what you said
@@magicpvppotionpvp3606 sup, an update after 2 years... I've stopped using minoxidil about 6 months ago and moved on to hair systems. Minoxidil did help stop my hair loss 100% when I went back but, I wasn't satisfied with the regrowth and the regrowth will reach a limit at some point. ( about 1.5 years in) And surprisingly, my hair system is easier to maintain than using minoxidil and finasteride every day which I tried as well. If you want any advice can always hmu

The picture of what the Rogaine did to your hair during the first two months was enough for me to ship the Rogaine I was thinking of trying right back to Amazon!
It’s funny how he kept repeating the rogain brand and finally told the truth that minoxidil is the same any any other brand I buy the target brand at half the price highly recommended
Your thought process was exactly like mine. Thanks for the honest review. I want to add that it’s best to talk to a dermatologist if you’re trying to make serious decisions regarding hair loss.
I just said fuck it and shaved what I had left off, did that when I turned 30. In my opinion, if someone thinks less of me because of my lack of hair then they can fuck off. I don’t get the big deal about loosing your hair.
How was your experience ...did you able to stop hair thinning and hairline receding...... moreover did you able to regrow or thicken hairs with that routine?
At first Minoxidil give my hair back . And then I stopped it for 1 year. I thought my hair is gonna ok . And then it got a lot worse . Stopping minoxidil is my biggest regret ever . Now I am using minoxidil again . Hope to see my hair back.
The fastest way to begin prevention is not Rogaine, it's Finasteride. Rogaine extends the growth phase and so provides more hair at any one time and also perhaps thicker shafts, but to truly keep hair from going away for good you need a enzyme blocker and that's Finasteride, not Rogaine. Ideally both, but it's misleading to say Rogaine is the way to keep more of your hair.
I have been using rogaine twice daily on my entire top of my head for two months. As well as taking biotin everyday. The first things I’ve noticed is that my hair isn’t falling out anymore. I run the rogaine in well and there is no hair on my hands like there was when I first started. I haven’t noticed any new hair yet but these results alone make me think it’s worth it. Try it for yourself, it’s an investment I would say is worth it. I’m 27 btw and my hair has been evenly thinning since I was 22
I don’t think I’ve grown any new hair yet. But my hair feels healthier, it 100% is not falling out like it was before even when I rub in the rogaine I have none on my hands after and my finger nails feel thicker from the biotin lol
I been losing hair since 25 and now 40. Wasted money on hair products over the years. I stopped ... I can't believe i still have hair. I decided to just get hair transplant when I am really bald.
Thanks buddy. I'm 25 and just noticed hair thinning at the very front on my birthday. Sucks that we are the young ones to lose it, I need it for at least 15 years (haha)
Try 18 Id be a lot happier if I was 25 ,It’s the worst news ever to hear this young i’m in a early stage of it But I’ve been using this for 2 months so
It didn't work for me. Wasted lots of money on it. Yes it sucked losing my hair around 20 years old. Finally I shaved my head and it was the best thing I ever did.
I am 27 now and have been using minoxidil for 3 years since April 2016. Just like him I saw amazing results at the beginning but as well have seen a gradual decline in hair thickness. All it is doing is slowing down my hair loss and trying to maintain what I have. This stuff does work depending on the person but please buy some anti-dandruff shampoo and shower everyday!!!! It will make you itchy🐸
Chowda171 Minoxidil really works for you bro ? Mine seems noting improve . I still see many hairs falling out every day. I have been on minoxidil for 1 year now ..
Rogaine is like fertilizer it works as a growth stimulant, but it can only do so much when the cause of balding is DHT slowly destroying the hair follicles. Putting fertilizer on dead grass won’t make the grass come back.
Meh started losing my hair at around 18 now I'm over 24 and currently have thinner hair then my 78yr old aunt. I find it funny personally, now I just buzz cut my hair.
Well I'm definitely thinning that's for sure im 31 and noticed how bad it was when I went from a fade to actually growing out and styling my hair at 25....hope it's not too late 🤞🏽
im 20, my hairline was at the top of my head. so i bought clippers and tried to style it, went for some peaky bliders(great show). i liked it for a while. then i saw a kid at school. NO HAIR! so later i went home, shaved all my hair off. That was 3 months ago. Now im used to it and i love it. me and my friends like it alot more now. they said i acted really timid when i was trying to hide it. now im the beautiful cue ball boy. PS. looks awesome with a beard.
Absolutely right. I actually don't want hair. I shave mine as a cue ball head compliments a beast beard and muscles. I have slight patches on my beard so considering this minoxidil for the patches. I'm 27 almost 28 so patches ain't gonna grow haha
I've used minoxidil 5% for 8 months with no results I added oral finasteride for almost a year with no results (continued loosing a lot of hair) I shaved my head and i liked it a lot and helped with my confidence BUT BUT I DON'T LIKE LOSING SO I bought minoxidil 15% with azelaic acid, caffeine, retinol and vitamin complex LET'S SEE HOW IT GOES WISH ME LUCK
If you already shave your head and you like it, try SMP. It's cheaper on the long term and less invasive. Read everything you can about it and then you can decide. I've been bald since I was 22 and I simply shaved my head and accepted it. 6 years later I discovered SMP and since I already shave every other day, why not have a hairline and a very short "haircut"? If you go to the right clinic and specialist, it will look 100% natural as long as you don't get one of those super straight hairlines. Although the straight hairline can actually look good depending on your ethnicity. Cheers.
I saw someone in the comment section brought up erectile dysfunction. Correct me if i am wrong but i have never heard of erectile dysfunction or any sexual side effect from Rogaine or Minoxidil. I think that's finasteride or other medication you take by mouth. Right?
Correct. In a small number of people, finasteride causes some nasty side effects that go away once you stop taking it. It's worth it to try. Finasteride actually works a little and it works for more people than minoxidil does. Minoxidil does nothing for the vast majority of us. In the end these things are just temporary. They'll only delay your baldness and they'll never give you the hair of someone who doesn't have balding genes.
Dani F defiantly finasteride yes!! The supplements I used never had any negative side effects on me! 🙌🏼 but I may have just been lucky.. www.hairlosshater.com
I hate when people say "Ill look like a 40 year old"...Im 50 and have a full head of (LONG) hair and grey only in beard not on head (except for a few strands). So lets not generalize.
Ok? It is just common for older men to be bald than younger people. Thats perfectly true and okay to say. When you bald it does make you look older than you are just like having a beard makes you look older. You have a head full of hair, why do you complain?!? Can you not sympathize with the younger folks that are balding at the age of 17-25 and have to go through this. Your complaint is so bland next to theirs lmao
Ive been using it for 4 years, and I still have hair, ive been losing some hair in the last year but it could be for my shitty genes, but im pretty sure the baldness would be even worst without Rogaine
@Savage i'm very intrigued by this argument, i'm strongly considering finasteride and like many.. i fear the side effects, i'm going to give rogaine a try first and see how that goes. u seem to be really confident in finasteride which gives me hope.
@Savage i agree finasteride is very convenient, but i'm still worried about the risk, even if it's only 0.01% chance. i hope rogaine can help me regain some density back, i look at before and after pics online and it seems some ppl have luck with it, finasteride will probably be my last option..
@Savage Totally agree, I take dutasteride everyday with zero side effects. People who are scared of it are the same people that are scared of covid-19 lol. Weak minded sheeple
I went through it it lasted like 2 maybe 3 weeks but it really wasnt all that bad because once the hair started getting thicker it looked sooo much better
Thank you for this video it was very helpful. Last time I got my hair cut I was told I'm starting to thin. I looked in the mirror and freaked out. Granted I'm 44 still I don't want to go bald!
It’s the barber’s job to make you feel confident and build you up, I hope you get a new barber because people like that really fuck with a guy’s confidence. I mean unless it looked terrible, but still, must have sucked to hear.
Well I first started to notice I was balding in my mid 20's and then progressively overtime my hair became thinner and more scalp was showing. I'm 41 now and have suffered hair loss at the crown of my head and at the centre of my scalp. So over 3 months I've been using a mixture of essential oils with a hair thickening shampoo and my hair appears slightly thicker. I've purchased a 3 month supply of Rogaine, but haven't started using it yet and will only use it as a last resort and only if I my hair loss becomes worse.
Broooo people think I'm 35-40 when I only just turned 20 hahaha I started using it 2 years ago but stopped after 2 months, now I'm disappointed because even just last year I had noticeably more hair. I'm starting again today and gonna do it right.
My face looks like crap!. It got onto the pillow and went on my face. I tried to wrap my head in various fabrics but still it went all over my face. I did grow hair but at the expense of looking like crap. As soon as I stopped the hair fell out like they were on a Kamikaze mission. Now I am sat here with a bald ass head and my face still looks like crap. Why me?
Scalp messages saved the last of my hair from psoriasis dermatitis and reversed my horrible skin disease. As you get older, your scalp gets tighter and the blood flow is cut off, this cuts the oxygen off too. I spent several hours a day messaging the blood back into my scalp and couldn't feel better.. unless I could get my hair back.
Also, not everyone sees similar results. Some people see results from castor oils, biotin and other stuff and some don't. Its different from person to person
using it since july 2018. it has grown nearly all thinning hairs. side effects were chest discomfort. but now its not much. after a year of using once daily. planning to continue life long once a day evrry alternate days. you give nice explanation. also I experienced irritation in eyes. but now it's not much. I think I crossed that side Effects phase of using the product
I’m 16 and I’m balding really fast because it’s been a trend in my family. It started way earlier for me. I just started using romaine hopefully it works
I guess I never look at the back of my head & one day I went to get a haircut and the girl tried to sell me some shampoo to regrow hair and I was like what? Am I balding? She didn’t know what to say, and once I actually looked at the back of my head and realized I had a 2 inch bald spot I was embarrassed that I had no idea. I just bought some rogaine hoping it’s not too late for me
I am a hairdresser and I worked mainly in a college area so when I started seeing my young clients losing hair .I would just tell them to start using it before you see any scalp spots .A coworker had told me how he saved his hair and that this was a lifetime commitment .It takes 4 months to work to the point you see baby hairs coming in .If you stop using it your new hair will fall out and if you stop using it 20 years later you are going to lose what you would of lost gradually over the 20 years in a few months .My brother used it for 25 years and now he is 60 but he has glacoma and has had to stop using it ,his hair is thinning a whole lot but when he was young he had his hair . Eyesight first any sign of raised eye pressure stop it right away .
Is there side effect? People are saying you get headaches, erectile dysfunctions, and etc. I mean I guess it makes sense to lose back all the hair you gained if you stop using the product because the product is the one that's keeping the hair.
I’m 25 and I ve been using rogaine for the past 2 months. Mostly on my thinning receding hairline, my hairloss isn’t that bad. I m starting to see minor results which is good. It’s gonna take another 2 to 4 months before i Really see good results.! I m happy it’s working.!
I'm 3 months in, trying to fix my receding hairline. I am seeing hairs but god it takes forever to properly work. I used it on my beard 2 years ago and it worked wonders but it takes a long time to properly work, at least 6 months. A painful wait but worth it in the end.
I use a derma stamper 1mm then I apply diluted rosemary oil , I use a scalp massager & rub in into my scalp , leave it for 30 mins and then wash it out with dht blocker shampoo & conditioner, I wait 24 hours for my scalp to heal then I apply monoxidil foam twice daily morning and night , do not use monoxidil right after stamping due to side effects from open pores always wait 24 hours after, also drink 3 cups of coffee a day for caffeine its great for thickening hair, and eat plenty of protein thats also great for your hair too
This just confirms that I'm glad I didn't mess with this stuff. I started losing my hair in my 20s, tried this stuff for a little bit but realized it wasn't worth the trouble. Now I'm almost 40, have a bald spot on the top of my head, but overall am glad I didn't end up obsessing over putting this messy shit in my hair twice a day for almost 2 decades.
It’s not that difficult to do. Twice a day for full head of hair? Looks require maintenance. It’s not messy and actual gives hair a mousses like quality .
Hair transplants have gotten amazing. I did 3. Best investments I ever made in myself. Minimal down time expensive. But worth every penny. After 6 months use minoxidil, That’s the real way to do this. From experience.
Yes, but only when done by an experienced doctor or clinic, you don't want to end up like this guy after a hair transplant ua-cam.com/video/jDg_mor9rlc/v-deo.html
Hello, I want to start a course with Minoxidil for beard thickening. I decided to use the detergent in the form of foam, but I do not know which brand to choose. I see that the brands Rogaine, Kirkland and Foligain are most often mentioned. Judging by the price, Rogaine should be the best of the three, but I suspect that this may be a purely commercial trick. So my question is, is it worth paying a significantly higher price, or buying cheaper alternatives?
i was in 12th my class mates always asked me about my hair routine and it was pretty good 1) wear a cap in dusty and noon 2) shampoo 3/week and wash hair daily 3) oil hair daily 4)avoid blow dry, gel abd any other hair product 5) always use organic and natural products but when i went to college i think the change in water causes me hairfall and i also got a lot of acne my acne is gone but hairfall is still there

I am guessing It did not work for Prince William. I used it way back when it first came out in 1985 and then you needed a Prescription. For me it did not work so well. I had transplants but was badly scarred and disfigured. I have battled Hair loss for decades but did have corrective surgery. I still look balding but have thin hair. For me I am now in my 50s but the problem has been forever. Now with the scar tissue from surgery I am on a program from Dr Robert Nettles. It is early but seems to be working and I see a bit more thickening. Too soon to tell- However this is the best Program I have been on. Will know more late in 2019 if It will bring more hair in for me.
Himanshu Gupta I’m going to try derma rolling without minoxidil first because I’m trying to avoid chemicals. From what I’ve read, you don’t put on minoxidil before dermarolling or within 24 hours after. This is because it will make the minoxidil absorb too much into the body and possibly causing side effects. Hope this helps. Good luck! 🍀
In 2011 I started to feel the air blow through my scalp more than before in the cold. I was 42/43. I plucked up the courage to look, with a second mirror, at my hair on top to face reality (over the years I'd receeded at the front a bit, well since my 21st with an inch or so of recession, I'd try other things from a younger age to help my hair lifespan). But I was thinning on top & had uncles who were bald, so the DHT issue was something I found I had, after understanding what DHT was. I paid £2k to a clinic in London that had me on an alcohol based minoxidil fluid with a dropper, a laser head canopy like the old hair saloon dryers and a supplement. The laser head canopy was for 25 minutes twice a week to once a fortnight for 25 mins at the end of the 3 month paid therapy. My hair strength and volume seemed to improve. But after the therapy, what should I do when it stops? So I bought a Hairmax lasercomb, supplements containing saw palmetto, other combined vitamins supplements and Regaine (or other similar foam sprays as mentioned) and found my hair growth still improved. The front hairline and temple area also came forward about half an inch, as well as feeling thicker. I'm now 50 and the image in my profile is about 18 months ago. 90 Plus % is my hair colour too with nothing there to colour it, with a few grey hair strands here and there. These are the elements to improve or protect against hair loss I believe too. Ok, I paid 2k in London, but didn't know about what to use until after. If I did, I could have saved some money! Today, I'm fighting the effects of DHT daily and weekly, I use Lipogaine at the moment as well as vitamins and mineral supplements I've taken for years with my sport interests (eg Quest Super Once A Day) - and whatever product choice, doing something will improve or better your hairline. I thought nothing could help. I'm very pleased I seem to be keeping my hair at my age with these disciplines. Quick tip: Reduce the DHT build up in the blood supply vessels by the scalp and the blood reaches the hair follicles and improvements begin, which is how minoxidil works towards. Look up the right nutrition for that too. Best of luck to all!
@@PSXuploads look up DHT prevention supplements (ie & eg saw palmetto). Minoxidil also helps reduce that. Then provide good nutrition supplements to the blood. PS - I've used the dermastamp in the last year, it's a bit painful in the beginning, but it has also assisted in reducing hair loss and thickened up the hair strands

High Tide I’m not understanding you? What is nioxin
He didn’t describe the method of action for Minoxidil. It’s a vaso-dialator, and increases blood flow & oxygen to the hair follicle. That’s why it grows healthier & longer. And yes, it works.
@Mysteries within I’ve been using it nearly 20 yrs. Stick with it for sure.

@@xnova5 Yeah, that crossed my mind. He did say some valuable things but I got the impression he was repeating to fill up the 10 minutes.

Right?
correct

It depends much on the organism, on the right side of my forehead per example it started to grow much hair. On my balded crown it is taking time.

What type of hair transplants did you do?
What medications do you have to take to maintain your transplant?
Thank you man. But good stand up, full head of scalp

David B. Thanks for sharing your experience. Could you elaborate about the program?
I’m 18 and notice my hair falling out, I’m starting to use this. I’m worried y’all wish me luck
I have used it every day for 22 years and looking back I wasted my money , has not stopped my hair loss. My advice save your money !
????
@@ondrejgahura5152 it didn't work for me
@@charliestewart8620 if it didn't work why use it for 22 years? And i've heard that it only works for a couple of years and then it stops working.
actually never stops working. Keeps your hair forever it just that people stop using it.
@@finalfrontier001 how do you know ?
Adding derma roller increases the results by 4xs according to a study done in 2013
Himanshu Gupta I’m going to try derma rolling without minoxidil first because I’m trying to avoid chemicals. From what I’ve read, you don’t put on minoxidil before dermarolling or within 24 hours after. This is because it will make the minoxidil absorb too much into the body and possibly causing side effects. Hope this helps. Good luck! 🍀
Picture looks unreal 🤔
It's not him
I've been using it for a month and a half and it seems like it's working
Gregorio please don’t lie. Does it really works? Cause i’m 19 and i’m loosing my hair so much: (
@@nishh3804 yeah bro I would say it works
Best of luck to all!
how do I reduce the DHT build up in the blood supply?
@@PSXuploads look up DHT prevention supplements (ie & eg saw palmetto). Minoxidil also helps reduce that. Then provide good nutrition supplements to the blood. PS - I've used the dermastamp in the last year, it's a bit painful in the beginning, but it has also assisted in reducing hair loss and thickened up the hair strands
