- Hey people, welcome to the 16 Month Rogaine Update. In this video, I show you how my hair is recovering from discontinuing the use of rogaine for a few months. Watch my previous video to see what happened to my hair. Happy to say that my hair seems to be recovering! I'll share what my hair looks like, a bit more about my journey, and the routine and products I use to help with my hair recovery journey.

Bendge watching all these vids. Hair started thinning just over a year into TRT. Now I’m 2 years in and it’s gotten to where I can no longer ignore it. I’m going all in: DHT Shampoo, minoxidil and finasteride.

Im 17 and my hair is thinning (has been since I was 15) quiet a lot, both of my grandparents are bald so it makes sence. I started Minixodil 2 months ago and your videos make give me hope that it will all get better, so thank you for posting them
Bro, just don't forget that you probably should talk to a trichologist and, possible, to start taking Finasteride from the age of 18, because Minoxidil alone isn't enough in a long term

Same situation. I have been losing hair since I was 15 also. I will start foam minoxidil and finasteride in 100 days when I turn 18.
Before you start using finasteride, I'd reccomend testing if you already have high estrogen. High estrogen causes gyno. If you do have high estrogen, I reccomend letrozole which is an estrogen blocker.
@@vitalii-dan Minoxidil alone does work for some men with diffuse hair and I have diffuse hair loss and I get goid reapone to it since I never use other things

Have you ever used Nioxin hair treatment? Had the thickest hair for the first few months but started noticing further loss. Unsure if due to the Nioxin or not.

@KVON your results are really good similar to mine I started the journey the same time as you and started getting lazy around the 5-7 month mark and have jumped back on and it’s been about 2 months now aswell and it’s crazy cause my hair looks the exact same as yours right now. Mine is probably a little bit thinner but keep up the good work 👌🏼👍🏼

@@mtkk1682 yes I take 1mmg of finasteride daily which blocks 70% of DHT and use special shampoo which blocks the remaining 30% along with taking saw palmetto too

I'm starting this week. I watched your earlier video and have to say you're at least lucky that you look really good bald. I have shaved my head once years ago and discovered that this is a face that definitely needs hair lol.

You gotta add rosemary oil to increase the chances of getting more hairs back. I feel like it’ll replace the spots. I’m curious what your results turns out to be after including that in!
You’re pretty much on the same exact routine and products I use down to the pill cutter lol. I use pur a dor shampoo which is very similar to your shampoo between nizoral usage. I use a scalp massager but I may have to buy one for when I apply minoxodil.

Are you considering using oral minoxidil? it's a lot easier to do, just pop a pill. I'm on oral minoxidil (2.5mg/day) and dutasteride. It's a great combo

Hello mate. Are you still using minoxidil twice a day? Because I have some friends recommended me that after three months to do a break and use it once dialy for three months and again after three months twice daily.

How many times do u apply this a day? Is it every morning and every night? Do u leave this on overnight? Or how does this work? Thanks!
Add pumpkin seed oil to your regime it's a natural DHT reducer. You can either take it in pill form (at least 4000mg a day) or apply it directly to your hair leave in for 3-4 hours then wash out. If you do it the oil way apply 3 times a week. It's great after you dermaroll too.

Hey Kvon, do you think your hair loss was due to using devacurl. There was a big lawsuit because it was causing hairloss.
I heard one of the side effects of using it is increase in hair loss because it throws out thinner/weaker hair before the stronger/thicker comes out. And like you said as well you noticed the shedding as well in first few months. What if i apply it on a shaved head and shave it again 2nd time after a month while applying the foam version, Will my hairs still be falling (i mean will my scalp become smoother/flat like there is no hair or remain shaved like state where I can feel the hair on my finger tips) in those months because of Rogaine Minoxidil Foam? Will it(shaving the head 2 times in 1 or 2 months gap) help me against that (shedding) phase.
So I’ve been applying topical minoxidil and taking finasteride everyday for about 3 months. I have not had (or noticed) a shedding phase yet. I also keep my hair very tight…shaving it bald with a razor every 5 days or so. Do you think it might not be working for me?

That derma rolled sucks. Get the 192 needle ones where you can see each individual needle. Try Aufgeld if that brand is available in the US? I’m in the UK so I don’t know
You should buy Minoxidil enhanced with retinoic acid to potentially double results or more combined with deems rolling and finasteride and the keto shampoo you are using. I’m using the Dualgen 5R from minoxidilmax but I also know there’s nanoxidil from ds laboratories.
Bro I sure like the progress but finasteride can be taken in even lower doses ..and every other day... quarter of a pill supress dht by 54% which is enough ,while also lowering side effects.Looking forward to your next update.

I am using minoxidil and it's almost 6 months ..the hairfall had stopped however after six months it has started again ..is it normal ??
You should use a dermapen to micro-needle bro, it helped quite a lot to recover my mild scalp .
I don't like the microneedle roller, it causes bad tears on my scalp, with the dermapen is a little bit expensive , but it is faster!!
I haven’t had any issues with tearrs. I’m not looking to make my head bleed.

minoxidl will take time to work. You should see 5 to 8 months before seeing the results. The shedding you are seeing is the bad desheveled hair that are falling out. I would say, stay on it.

Hey man, How do you remove minoxidil buildup from scalp ? I am struggling with this a lot.
I use a comb or one of those shower brushes, and brush my scalp with it atleast once a week.
Do you rinse off the monoxodil after application? Or is it just like putting in hair product and then you go about your day with no shower after. Thnx

Live your day normally, leave minoxidil on your *scalp* for at least 4 hours, you don’t have to have a shower

Using once a day is ok u know I also use it once a day before going to sleep at night(it is recommended by my doctor)
