Many thanks. I trust a fluffy dog is not a prerequisite for power yoga. (I grew up in America with 10 Briards). On an upper floor in a 1600’s building of Old Rome, a dog might be too happy. The old dog who is writing is quite happy with the concentration and awareness of body you convey even 80 steps above the ground floor. The warrior 3 is do-able but the blocks are a good idea. When I reached 79 I couldn’t do Dhanurah or handstands any more, but maybe my instructors were right as they told me I was “precipitoso” in my Asanas. Perhaps a new attitude will help me regain those poses.
TIM!! How have you been? I have been doing this series for over a month. When I started I was STRUGGLING with some of the flow(mainly the one where we go from modified lunge to Warrior 3 repeatedly) and thus I was determined to repeat this series until it wasn't so hard. Now, I can do all of these videos with relative ease. I have been with you since last year and boy has my body changed thanks to your teachings. Thank you so much for all the encouraging words you give in every video, your jokes and how considerate you are. Always pointing out how proportions matter and how we all work at a different level. Again, thank you for everything, I'll keep doing your UA-cam videos till the one day comes when I'll join your community and MAYBE even go on a retreat with you.
This is the best yoga class I’ve ever done. It was difficult, but the instructions were so clear and the adjustments made the poses feel so right. Plus, when said balance your head on top of your body it made me laugh. I always just figured it was balanced up there! Thank you and Namaste
The Power Yoga that I had before was really non-stop high intensity all the way but this is a totally different one which is calming, and relaxing at the same time strengthening and improving flexibility...Thank you TIM!

Wow! I can't believe how much my strength and stability have improved over just 5 days!! Have always struggled with the chaturanga push ups but it feels much better now and I can hold longer without shaking. Feeling amazing all over. Thanks ever so much Tim!
Loved those Pilates inspired supine exercises. Managed to make it through Savasana even with a 9ry old doing laps on a hoverboard around me and a border collie mix demanding fetch! The breathwork will def help my lap swimming later today.

Such a great class. I began it 3 different times and finally finished the 3rd time. It was conveniently a great scaffolding exercise because I got further each time before needing to stop for kids.
And today you randomly switched to metric. I loved this class - balancing, arm balancing, pranayama, mindful ab work, slow pace, it had all the things! Thank you.

Twisted standing poses remain the most challenging poses for me but thanks to you, I know how to be patient, allow my body to work and grow in these poses and I don't feel (too) frustrated anymore when I practice them. Thanks Tim, really enjoyed the class! Any advice for super tight hip flexors? When doing multiple ab exercises in a row, my right hip flexor seems to cramp up. Appreciate it and looking forward to the next one!
Hey Corey, as a fellow tight hipflexor yogi, i found that working on stretching the hip flexors dynamically and statically, helped a lot, however, the real improvement for me was actually realising that it was my weak (lazy) glute med muscles which was causing my hipflexor to over compensate. What helped me was lots of supine bridge holds and pulses, along with single leg bridge lifts and holds, (make sure you do the left and the right). When your glute med gets less lazy, you may find over time that your hip flexors won't have to work as hard. Hope this helps. Oh and also another tip for doing bridge hold with two feet on the ground is to place a block in between your knees/legs. In doing this, you will be activating the glute med and adductors (inner leg) correctly. Until you can consciously make sure your legs stay in hip alignment, your knees may splay out while in the bridge pose, and then glute max tends to take over, which isn't the aim. X

I'm currently going to Physical Therapy for my hips and sacrum. This practice was exactly what I needed. Thank you! Also, I was apart of your Monday live class. I used many of the elements from the class when I taught a Hot Vinyasa the following day. I had a ton of compliments. I am constantly sharing what I learn from you with my students, especially about core stability.
Thanks as always Tim! The things I liked about this video: a nice warmup, then the class is slow but strong. I feel like I am building strength but can keep up with the pace. Some of the prompts that really helped were extending from behind the ears in the flat back position, and moving the elbow toward the sky in the twist. Things like that can really change the way you do a pose!

Thanks as always Tim! The things I liked about this video: a nice warmup, then the class is slow but strong. I feel like I am building strength but can keep up with the pace. Some of the prompts that really helped were extending from behind the ears in the flat back position, and moving the elbow toward the sky in the twist. Things like that can really change the way you do a pose!

Hey! Tim, thank you for all of your work. This is such a generous gift to the world. I practicing yoga for a couple years occasionally. Today was my first time standing downward facing dog with feet on the mat and I finaly found the release in it. That is amazing!

I’m a day behind yet really enjoying this challenge and particularly liked this class. My straight leg push ups are stronger and I’m finding I can hold my poses longer as well. The breathing exercise at the end was a nice cap. I’m ready to face the day! Thank you Tim. Namaste.
