I have made this twice. I live alone and mostly make food for myself, so I cut the recipe in half. Turned out great! It's really delicious and my grandson agreed. Also, the least effort possible for any recipe is my goal. Instead of pressing mixture into a pan and having to cut into bars I pressed them into a silicone muffin cupcake pan!! Just push up after refrigeration and out they come!! I made them again today and used a mini muffin nonstick pan that I purchased recently to make fun appetizers. Sometimes I just want a bite or two to see me through until the next meal. Or I can have 2 or 3 for breakfast, etc.!! Any way you end up serving them you will definitely find them delicious and super easy and fast to make. Thank you April!!
I just made them and they are delicious. I used a combination of honey and maple syrup. I used 1/4-cup instead of 1/2-cup of sweetener. Thanks for this wonderful recipe.
Do try parchment paper to line instead of foil. It will lift just as good, and you won't risk aluminum consumption. Also, rip a piece and use it to top your mixture as you tamper down. : )
If you don't use... vegetable spray... rub some of that coconut oil on the scoop before you pour the honey in. Or, use the same measuring cup for both, coconut oil first. I bake with honey and coconut oil in SO many recipies. using that coconut oil to coat the cup saves lots if not all the honey in your measuring cup.
GIRL, OMG... I did use the honey and dark chocolate chips and wax paper. This was the best, and easiest recipe. I happen to have everything I needed to make without having to go out. I am not really into these kind of things because everything always seems to sweet for me, but you had me at oatmeal and peanut butter. I also think when you buy stuff like this at the store they have way too much fiber in them. So I know this is about 3 years late, but you hit the nail on the head. Thanks...
Why oh why did I ever stumble upon this recipe? It is so delicious and so addictive I can’t believe it. I look for any excuse to break off a piece of a bar… Early morning pick me up, afternoon pick me up, after dinner with a cuppa tea, I’ve tried it all...😄 I used less honey. And mixed in some dried Cranberries with semi sweet chips. OMG is all I can say! So much for my New Year’s resolutions… But hey, they are good for you, right?
Oh my! I just made these, and they are the most delicious I have found/made to date. I only had crunchy peanut butter, but I followed everything as indicated, and I can't believe how delicious they are. I made some last weekend from another UA-camr...they were "ok" (recipe only called for oats, coconut milk and PB. These, on the other hand, are the best...thank you so much!
love this~ going to make them tomorrow for a church game night. I am just like you. chocolate without peanut butter is nearly a sin. :) thanks for the recipe.
I just made a batch in minutes and added some cinnoman powder too and they are scrumptious! cant wait to take them to work for a snack and maybe share! :)
My grandson and I made these today. We added dark chocolate chips, dried cranberries and hemp seeds to the mix. They taste GREAT! Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Hey! Thanks for this awesome 👏🏼 recipe! I did however use the “stir” natural peanut butter- and it was just fine. No issues at all. Always add more oats or flax meal to make it thicker. I added so many dried fruits and nuts I had to add a little more coconut oil. But- turned out so good;) what a great basic snack idea for any one. Next time I will try an almond butter or sunflower 🌻 butter 🧈. Thank you! Salude!
Just made a batch and put it in the refrigerator. Looking forward to having some tomorrow morning and after workout. Btw I reduced honey and added a small handful of raisins as well as a pinch of ground cinnamon :) a good recipe, thank you.
Hi! I actually used quite natural runny peanut butter and didn't heat it. I didn't heat the honey either as I think it'd better not be heated. The mixing process turned out pretty well, I added a splash of almond milk btw
Thanks! The recipe was great and easy. They taste good also. Watching you made me feel like I was talking to a friend. I did use parchment paper though. I saw it in the comments.
Just what I've been looking for. I don't have much time in the morning to make breakfast before I cycle to work so this is just the ticket. Thanks very much 😉
I just found this recipe here and made them in 5 minutes! They are delicious! I used canola oil and a mix of honey and maple syrup. I mixed in craisins ans chocolate chips. I put them in air tight container in the fridge
Thanks for the great recipe. It went together really well and it was delicious! I cut the amount of oats and added more cranberries. Next time I will try chocolate chips.
I made this but only had Jiff PB. So I only used about 1/3 C honey. Even after refrigerating them for about an hour, they crumbled a little. I really pressed them in the pan too but maybe reducing the honey had something to do with it. The flavor is good though.
Looks good, I'll have to give them a try. Confused by the flax seed on your work surface but you didn't add them to the recipe. Unless you had mixed them in the oats and forgot to tell us 🤔
I have pcod and i literally always carve for something sweet, i just made it amd it turned out amazing(i just used quick oats because only that was available with me rn, and used ghee)
I’ve made them before I’ve used almond cinnamon and I’ve used pecans crunched up I can’t use walnuts I’m allergic. I’ve used cranberries along with the other items; it really taste good. I’ve never use coconut oil in it though, I’ll have to try it.
looks delicious, I'm going to make this, my granddaughter Sophya loves peanut butter and chocolate. thank you April I'm looking forward for more your recipes with peanut butter and chocolate...I love little Debbie's nutty buddy, I'm want a recipe using nutty buddy..
Looks so delish! I may just try this even though my body doesn’t process sugar very well. Hoping because of natural sugar of honey that maybe it won’t bother me. Even if I hAve to eat this one mouthful a day! Lol
Hey April... watched your video last night and then ended up making a batch following the recipe to a tee. I have eaten several today and all I can say is they are delicious. I have been looking for a recipe that blended oats, peanut butter and a little bit of chocolate. My search is over! This one is a keeper for sure!! Thank you!!
I noticed this video is several years old, but I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes six weeks ago. I'm still trying to figure out what I can eat. Is this something that would be ok for me to have.
THIS LOOKS SO GOOD APRIL..YOU DO A GREAT DEMONSTRATION ON YOUR RECIPES..& SO SIMPLE & HEALTHY... I LOOK FORWARD TO TRYING YOUR NO BAKE OATMEAL CHOCOLATE COOKIES.
These look really great. My only concern is microwaving the honey. honey loses its benefits in heat, I am not sure the exact temperature. Maybe it would make sense to warm up peanut butter and oil and add. honey later when it's warm but not hot?
If you blend to a powder consistency the oatmeal with shredded coconut flakes to a 1 to 1 cup of oatmeal to flakes and then you use'em for this recipe, you'll see how delicious this bars are
I’m 11 and made these at 6 am in the morning and it was so easy to make, plus I also really loved it because you don’t need to bake it!
Bless you ,little one :)
Dear little sweetheart. Enjoy baking
🌞😊🌞
Awwww soooo sweet!!

I made some of these today and I added cranberries almonds and raisins. They were absolutely delicious. Thanks for the recipe. ❤👍

Great idea
I just made them, instead of chocolate chips i put almonds and nuts, it was delicius.
Thank´s for the recipie, i will watch more of your videos.
Unless it was all eaten as soon as it was ready, how did you save the rest and for how long?
I'm going to use chopped dates...
Made about ten batches at this point. LOVE them.
I just put the honey in hot water... it cleans easily... or I let my beagle do the pre-wash.
This is what I am looking for and perfect for what I only have here in the house while having our ECQ. thanks for sharing.
Thank you!! I made them!! They are wonderful!
Lol I was searching for something quick to fix because I am breastfeeding my twins. Thank you this is awesome
Way to go Deanna!!

Did you use butter or coaconut oil
@@emeryfieldsjr2461 she used coconut oil
I wonder if I can leave out the coconut oil? Not a fan of any oils like this since natural peanut butter has some in it already?
K. LaBorde YES, check out Clean and Delicious UA-cam channel, she has a recipe for these with no oil and they are DELICIOUS as well!
Agreed on no oil. No need. Plenty of fat. If anything you coukd add TB or two of applesauce
Made these with dark chocolate chip came out GREAT!
I would add pumpkin seeds and pumpkin pie spice to the oats! So manny add ins!! Happy snacking!
April I am just like you I love peanut butter and oatmeal. I can't wait to try it!

How much cinnamon?
@@rachelking7002 I would guess 1/2-teaspoon; however, to taste.
Do they have to be stored in the refrigerator or freezer?
@@mariebridge266 in the fridge 👌
@@aymztube4409 thanks

Yuchen Cai are we supposed to heat up the ingredients, whether it's boiled or microwaved?
Hi! I actually used quite natural runny peanut butter and didn't heat it. I didn't heat the honey either as I think it'd better not be heated. The mixing process turned out pretty well, I added a splash of almond milk btw
Definitely a keeper, very good and easy. My three year liked it...
What a bunch of narcissistic comments!!!! Thank you for sharing your recipe.
I agree people just don't have grace anymore. It's her kitchen her way she said she like the ingredients that she is using.
Definitely gonna do this recipe. Except, I'll be baking it as I like the taste of oats when they are browned. Thx for your video.
Rosemarie Chibi , for how long do you bake it?
Raisins and peanuts makes this dish addictive!😋
Looks good and very healthy. Thanks so much
I tried this with Maple Syrup instead of Honey it tasted wonderful
Thanks for the maple syrup idea.
I man perfect! I was wondering if you could use it since I don’t eat honey! Thanks!
Same..not a big fan of honey. Tried it with maple syrup..delicious
can u tell me the quantity of maple syrup if i use it instead of honey..
or golden syrup
Excellent, thank you, I will try it your way!! Thank you for your time and for sharing.
I look forward to your next one!!
I try it but i use quick oats instead of regular oats. It came out pretty good.
M T, I was just wondering about that. Thanks 😊

Research canola oil.
I made these today and they taste delicious. I couldn't get them to stay perfectly together but they still taste great. Practice makes perfect, maybe.
Add roasted pecans or honey roasted peanuts to these also. So good.
