Great recipe. Here’s a trick to get laser straight cuts: freeze the whole tray until almost frozen, then flip the entire thing onto a cutting board and cut with a large kitchen knife (guillotine style). Perfect bars
Recently I've decided to include meal replacement bars into my diet. The ingredients are shocking, because we all assume these bars, which in all honesty don't always taste so good, are healthy. I found your channel and I appreciate it so much. I already make my own granola. I'll now make my own bars. Thank you!
Just started doing more baking, as I have the time, and wanted to make granola bars. Tried this recipe, and it's awesome! Easy to to adapt ingredients to your own taste and really easy to make. Thank you.
I made these with oats, almonds, cranberries, honey, peanut butter, and vanilla. That's all I had. They came out great. I ate one for breakfast and a cup of coffee and was full for a while. Thanks!
Ok, so I did these yesterday and ... OMG they are delicious and not super sweet, left a little a longer as recommened since I wanted them crunchy and that worked. I did cut into squares, but some fell apart only slightly, I'd like to keep them whole, this recipe is a keeper for sure 😍
I’ve made these a bunch of times and I add a cup of coconut, because I love coconut and I add 1/2 maple syrup 1/2 honey comes out sooo good! I like them crunchy so I put them in 9x13 baking pan till golden brown! Also cause I love cinnamon I put 1 tsp of each cinnamon and Ceylon cinnamon 🤩 thanks for this wonderful recipe!
I’m a cook but not a baker and due to medical reasons I’ve needed to change my diet and was looking for a healthier snack. Was just going to order such bars but they are stupidly expensive! This is a perfect recipe or base recipe as u can add all sorts of things like dried fruit, seeds, and nuts. Thanks!
Thanks so much for this recipe. I made the granola bars today 3.18.23; and my mom loves them. Now I can eat oats in a healthy way. I don't like oatmeal; so this is great for me. So delicious and yummy. I added chocolate sprinkles to this recipe.
Since I found this recipe about 2 months ago I have made these at least 8 times. They are delicious and easy to make and perfect with my morning coffee
Today was my second time making this using my own homemade peanut butter and it is just delicious. I love it, my sister and mom love it, my wife and her sister love it and they are from Ivory Coast/West Africa so they don’t eat bull crap but they eat this healthy snack up. Great recipe!
This would be a really good recipe for those who likes crunchy granola. I tried 10 mins for a chewy texture, it was undercooked, but the crispy edges on the outside was perfect. I tried to bake it for an additional 5 mins, still undercooked, but became crispy. Tasted good, my only complaint is that the peanut butter starts to become burnt tasting after 15 mins
Hello from Egypt 👋 I have made this receipe so many times. I go often hiking with my friends and every time I make a really big batch for all of them and they love them. Thank you very much🙏❤️
Love the way you demonstrated everything in your video - simple, listed all ingredients, straight to the point without having to si through a 10 minute video & simple to understand how to go about making them - love your work & have subscribed to your site - being a Vegan, this will be my go to daily snack when I go to work as a Landscaper - a big thank you
OMG These are so good! I'm making them for the second time in 4 days because I gave some away (and everybody loved them!) I used almond butter instead of peanut butter. I love your presentation and explanation for the reasons you do it the way you do. Just subscribed! Thank you!
This is hands down the best granola bar recipe. particularly if like me, you dislike no-bake and date based recipes. Obviously, you will want to avoid this recipe if you are allergic to nuts or any of the ingredients. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Looks amazing I will try them. Also something about you seems so kind and nice. I was thinking heaven must be a place of people like you always smiling and talking kindly. Thank you!
Thanks for the recipe I’ve made these for my two three year olds they won’t eat anything wet so here’s hoping I can get them to eat these added loads of nuts and seeds and more peanut butter than honey fingers crossed it’s a winner😊
I made these today, so looking forward to trying them! Only problem was I forgot to take them out of the oven. Cinders! Can't wait to try again tomorrow 😢😢😢
I just made these for the first time and they are excellent! I need to cut down on sugar and salt for my health. I eliminated the salt and they still are delicious!
Macadamias Almonds Pecans Pumpkin seeds Coconut Pineapple a bit of real honey think crunchy style peanut butter that has peanut chunks in it i've loaded these up with fruits and berries and even added whey to the mix.
After seeing this I went to the store and bought all the things you said we need to make your granola bars , its really good wish I had seen this sooner thanks.
Thanks for your video I was looking for a way to make myself and your video was first and I like what you put in and I'm very active on the go and always something to do living out in the country with fishing and hunting and everything I don't like to stop at gas stations so I try to make things for on the go your video was very helpful
I need to make this I"ve always wanted to make the bars. I needed something SIMPLE! And this is it! Love it and love your video and your kitchen I need a NEW kitchen.
I’ve made these four times now and they are delicious. One batch was made with maple syrup as I wanted them vegan but they didn’t hold together.. my problem is I can’t stop eating them!
I made tonight following exactly. I cooked 23 min bcz I wanted them crunchier. My bars after cooking were on the crumbly side and barely hold together. They're very delicate and break into pieces really easily. I'm thinking it may have needed more honey/peanut butter to bind it together? Or less oats/nuts. Do u think making it again using a bit more honey/PB will help bind them more?
I made them and they were perfect! You were right, the chocolate chips would melt away completely if you add them even if it’s little warmer. I should have added at the end as toppings and gently pressed it. I mixed it before transferring the mixture to the baking tray , and it was a bit warm. My chocolate chips are all disappeared at the end 😂 anyways good taste and a lesson learnt! Thanks for the recipe
I wish there were a granola bar recipe for diabetics. This recipe is great for healthy people only! Oats and honey will spike the blood sugar up through the roof!
also try home made fresh trail mix of nuts, raisins, seeds, prunes mixed with apples, pears, etc., cut up. place in a small plastic pouch. less calories, just as nutritious.
This recipe looks amazing. Is it possible to use maple syrup rather than honey? I love the combination of cranberries and orange so I will add some dehydrated powdered organic orange rind.
The last 15 min baking won’t make everything overcooked? I read some recipe calls for refrigerating after everything mixed instead of baking… I am wondering about the differences? Thanks!
$3/bar is insane. I found some that were decent for $..50/bar but they were a little small but the box CLAIMED it had 10 g of protein per bar. Not sure I'm buying that but anyway... most of them I've eaten tasted like cardboard or you pay too much for basically oatmeal, rice crispies and peanuts. Definitely going to make a batch of my own the SIZE I WANT and with the stuff I want. Blended raw almonds, old fashioned oatmeal and I still will put a layer of chocolate on the bottom. Time to research the basic how to of this starting here!

I love to bake and have been intimidated by granola bars, but no more thanks to your sweet, straightforward recipe. 🎉

What is the best way to store them after you make them?
What's the best way to store these? Fridge? Or just a sealed container on the counter?

I love bull crap. The secret is to toast it in the oven at 325F for 10-15 minutes. It makes all the difference in the world!
Tip wet your parchment paper same for paper towels in the microwave the towel stays moist and no mess in the microwave lol❤
Fantastic sharing wow
I just made these and they came out great! I added more nuts and less peanut butter than the recipe and they still stuck together just fine :)

Yay! Thank you!
It is really hard to listen when the music is so loud. I would eliminate the music. You have a nice voice and your instructions are precise.
I'm going to be so glad when YouTubbers discover that putting music under an instructional video is annoying, distracting and stupid.
I totally agree and I don't understand why it's taking so long
Best comment 😂!!
Very annoying indeed!
Yep. Not watching because of this.
Well stated, they just will not listen,
These are wonderful. I only had agave honey but it was a nice add. They stay together well. Thank you.

2 weeks in the fridge is good.
If longer, just freeze them in a ziplock bag 💼
Is there an alternative for peanut butter fir those with allergies or don't like it ?
so delicious food
Those look wonderful! I would love to see a recipe for healthy Caramel, Almond & sea salt bars...
They sound delish.

I wish I could show you. I thought the same but gave them the benefit of the doubt and put in the oven for 15 mins at 180’. Came out black🤦♀
