    I recommend switching allulose and perhaps monk fruit in for the agave. Agave is higher in fructose than high fructose corn syrup. This stuff will give you fatty liver faster than anything. That said, if you are already eating healthy and have no metabolic issues, then go with what you want.

    I substituted cottage cheese for the yogurt,almond flour for the oat flour and used a zero calorie sweetener. I blitzed the cottage cheese in the blender then added all the other ingredients except the blueberries. (I added @ 2 tsp vanilla extract) Added the blueberries at the end and just stirred them in. Baked in a 9” square pan for 45 minutes (wasn’t done at 30 min) It was better cold I think. Made a good breakfast. I’m bleary eyed in the morning and if I have to think about what to make it won’t happen! I like something I can just grab out of the fridge without thinking. 🙃

    I cycle between keto and low carb. I made this with coconut flour and nutmeg for a fattier version, and then today with rolled oats for my low carb week. Really, really delicious. I added gingerbread spices and Wholesome Yum brown sugar substitute. It was great slightly warm, but also so good when I had some cold with a coffee this afternoon.

      Hi SW-dm3qr, if your Mom is Diabetic, stay away from the agave. It has an average of 16 carbs per 1 tablespoon and the equivalent of four teaspoons of sugar per tablespoon of agave. Just because it's natural, doesn't make it healthy. @Angelanderson9515 made a great suggestion regarding the lemon/and or lemon rind and @Michellewalkerwebb made an excellent point about the sugar free maple syrup. I just made it. Came out very good only I needed about 40min on 340F bc at 30min it was still too wet/jiggly.
    Also I wanna try and play around with the oat flour maybe increasing it by a tbsp see if it holds a little more firm? Overall it was very good tho thank you.

      Thanks! I think adding 2-3 more tablespoons of oat flour will make it thick enough, or you can even use some non-liquid sweetener to reduce the amount of moisture in the recipe.

    How to make it with less carbs? Will using almond or other nut flours work?

  • @AriThecraftydragon
    @AriThecraftydragon 24 дні тому

    That's a decent protein to carb ratio.

    I had low fat greek yoghurt and coconut flour so I made it with those, as well as maple syrup. it was very easy to make and I like the taste, but mine took a long time to bake and came out a weird consistency - a bit juicy, not as firm as in the video. I wonder if it's because of the low fat yoghurt, the coconut flour, or both?

    • @HowToCookSmarter
      @HowToCookSmarter  18 годин тому +1

      I guess both might be the reason why the consistency was different, next time try to change at least one of these.
