HEALTHY YOGURT BAKE RECIPE
Ingredients:
1.5 cups Greek yogurt (375g)
4 eggs
3 tbsp maple syrup or agave
2 tbsp oat flour, or processed rolled oats
1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen (150g)
NUTRITIONAL INFO (per serving):
190 calories, fat 5.1g, carb 20.3g, protein 16g
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C). Grease or line an 8x8 inch (20x20cm) baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, eggs, chosen sweetener (maple syrup or agave), and oat flour. Whisk together until smooth and well incorporated.
Gently fold in the blueberries until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is set and golden brown on the edges.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy this delightful and nutritious yogurt bake!
I recommend switching allulose and perhaps monk fruit in for the agave. Agave is higher in fructose than high fructose corn syrup. This stuff will give you fatty liver faster than anything. That said, if you are already eating healthy and have no metabolic issues, then go with what you want.
just making some at 8pm in the evening. when is done I'll put it in the fridge and have it for breakfast tomorrow
Hope it worked for you, I enjoy it cold even more.
how was it?
How was it? How long does it last before it goes bad?
I substituted cottage cheese for the yogurt, almond flour for the oat flour and used a zero calorie sweetener. I blitzed the cottage cheese in the blender then added all the other ingredients except the blueberries. (I added @ 2 tsp vanilla extract) Added the blueberries at the end and just stirred them in. Baked in a 9” square pan for 45 minutes (wasn’t done at 30 min) It was better cold I think. Made a good breakfast. I’m bleary eyed in the morning and if I have to think about what to make it won’t happen! I like something I can just grab out of the fridge without thinking. 🙃
Hi Marianne! That's really great combo, glad it worked out for you, I appreciate your wonderful feedback!
@@HowToCookSmarter I didn’t mean to say there was anything wrong with your original recipe,I’m just a Keto newbie so I cut carbs where I can. Those little buggers seem to sneak into everything! 🙃
I'd sub coconut flour instead but ya. Good substitutions!
Can use ricotta if you want to cut back on the high sodium of cottage cheese.
@@marianneodell7637 I am a diabetic. 20grams of carbs is a killer for me. I will use almond flour as well. Thanks
I tried several of your recipes . Love them all. Easy and healthy.
Thanks for your feedback!
Just made a half portion of this with 2 eggs and added some vanilla protein powder. Delicious!
Thanks for trying it out!
I'd add vanilla and/or cinnamon to that recipe to avoid the eggy taste that this recipe would probably have without them.
Or lemon zest and and some lemon juice!💛
Sure, adding some vanilla would be great.
thank you for this, I tried this dessert with vanilla and cinnamon and it tastes really good! a new dessert in my cook book :)
I cycle between keto and low carb. I made this with coconut flour and nutmeg for a fattier version, and then today with rolled oats for my low carb week. Really, really delicious. I added gingerbread spices and Wholesome Yum brown sugar substitute. It was great slightly warm, but also so good when I had some cold with a coffee this afternoon.
Both keto and lowcarb is BS and unscoentific. You need a good hard stare at your life and whatever happens in little brain of urs
Glad this recipe worked for you! I appreciate your feedback!

@@HowToCookSmarter Thanks! I have made my first batch, and it made the kitchen smell nice while it baked. The aroma reminded me of cheesecake. I will try it again, but with lemon juice and vanilla added. It might also be nice to try it with cinnamon mixed in. This could be tried with all kinds of variations. :)
Hi Saha, this is very similar to a recipe like to make (with apples instead of the blueberries) and it is delicious. I must try this version too. As ever, TFS and have a great week! 👍💖
Hi Hazel, glad you like this simple dessert, I bet the apple one is great too. Thanks for your lovely feedback, as always, enjoy your week, take care!

Amazing recipe! 😊
Thanks!
This is amazing I have been looking for something easy n less calories. Thank you
Thanks, glad you like the recipe!
Looks great and so easy! Going to try this plant-based as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and the lead and choline in eggs. Thanks for sharing
Hi! Hope this recipe will work for your plant-based version. Let me know about it.
Wonderful. I used goose eggs, hazelnut flour and raw organic honey and real vanilla.
Amazing, thanks for trying it out!
YES!!
This is so funny and serendipitous. I'm in my food journal making plans for meals while listening to something entirely unrelated on youtube. My hand accidentally hits this video! Perfect! Putting these recipes in the recipe notebook now!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
That actually looks quite nice!
Hope you'll give it a try!
Thank you from Jerusalem! Perfect for upcoming holiday of Passover! Love all your work! Been with you since very beginning-you’re terrific! Wishing you continued success and wellbeing, Sasha! 🙏🌿🌷🌿🖖
Hi there, it's great to have you here and I'm super grateful for all of your support! Happy holidays!
This is awesome looking. I will make it and give it to my dad for breakfast. He loves sweets, but he doesn't need processed foods and refined sugar. Of course he could use the protein, and he'll like the berry taste. Thanks.
Hope he'll enjoy this kind of breakfast!
Ďakujem za recept,mega dobré
Thanks for watching!
looks delicious. i will try that
Hope you'll enjoy it!
I have cooked it and it is sooooooo yummy Sasha. Sorry I forgot to take a pic to share with you but I will make sure to do it next time.
By the way, I have tried it with Egyptian yogurt ( we call it Baladi yogurt) and it worked perfectly and so yummy.
That's great news, glad this recipe worked for you, thanks for letting me know about it. Take care!
This looks delicious
Thanks Ingrid!
Looks awesome
Thanks!
Wow thanks!!
You're so welcome!
I will try that ASAP
Happy baking!
Thank you much sir ❤️
You're very welcome!
i love your channel!
Thanks for watching!
I'm always looking for a healthy dessert for my mom who has diabetes...this has a good amount of protein and I will try stevia or other for her. I wonder if you could add lemon? On another note, I've made your greek yogurt bagels so many times...I recommend everyone try them...surprisingly easy!❤
I think lemon or lemon rind would make it that much better
If your Mom has diabetes you can purchase Sugar Free Maple Syrup to add for taste or sweetness for many things
Adding different type of sweetner would be just fine, and for the lemon... I think it would be better to go with mixed berries if you want to add a bit of tang to it.
Hi SW-dm3qr, if your Mom is Diabetic, stay away from the agave. It has an average of 16 carbs per 1 tablespoon and the equivalent of four teaspoons of sugar per tablespoon of agave. Just because it's natural, doesn't make it healthy. @Angelanderson9515 made a great suggestion regarding the lemon/and or lemon rind and @Michellewalkerwebb made an excellent point about the sugar free maple syrup. All the best to you and your Mom!
Use real sugar like honey or maple syrup. I’m a diabetic. Sugar free things contain more chemicals that wreck havoc on ur body.
Just wow
Thanks!
That’s a nice dessert I like that recipe👍😋🌺
Thanks for stopping by!
Mmmm! Very nice. It's a bit like a cheese cake recipe without the base. Thanks! ❤
That's right, glad you like it!
I made this recipe today, I like it
Does it taste eggy a lot?
@@veesubramanian5533 no, only a little bit.
Thanks for trying it out and sending your feedback!
Will try....
Happy baking!
thanks this genuinely looks like one of the best ones. so easy I think I can remember off the top of my head. I wonder if instead of directly adding sugar, one were to mix the sugar with the berries overnight and draw out the sweetness. Would it be too wet?
Yes, I just love the easy ones:) Soaking berries overnight will bring lots of moisture to the mixture, I wouldn't recommend that, rather add some other toppings that will boost the flavor.
Great idea
Glad you like it!
Wow 30 g of protein for 400 calories is pretty good macro for a dessert . Gona try this week ! Thank for sharing this recipe 🙏🏻❤️
Glad you like the recipe, hope you'll find it delicious!
Thank you
You're so welcome!
Going to get some berries. Making it tomorrow morning. Thanks!
Hope you enjoyed this quick yogurt bake.
Wow incredible recipe thank you. I’m a bodybuilder I need this so much 😂❤
You're very welcome! Enjoy the recipe!
Hey! Thank you for the recipe! Looks really good! Why do you use agave?
Thanks! Well, for my baked goods I prefer using maple syrup, but when I'm out of it agave works just well, I use it in same amounts, it's GI is quite low. But for non-baked goods, honey is my first option.
Agave is not a good choice
it looks good! Instead of Agave syrup, I ll use some low carb substitute!
Sure, go for it
Bravo majstore
Hvala Mario na podršci! Pozz!
This looks so good! Almost like Clafouti. Could almond meal replace the oat flour? Just wondering.
Yes, something like that, but with a boost of protein... Not sure about the almond meal, would it be able to soak up some of the moisture and create creaminess, almond flour be a better option.
Nice ❤
delicious! Thank you, do you have any recipe with mangos?
Hi, not really, but you can use mangos in most of my recipes, just dice them up and use instead of blueberries, strawberries...
@@HowToCookSmarter ok thank you
I like this recipe I will make it with two eggs 🥚 I do not eat lots eggs. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Yes, that will work too, may be more creamy.
That a yogurt cake. I wonder if you can put an oatmeal crumble/granola-type topping on it as is done with cinnamon swirl coffee cake.
Lemon juice and zest would lean towards a cheesecake flavor, and blueberry and lemon flavors marry well. They make each other very happy !
Have you looked through his channel?
Sure, adding some granola on top would work great... but adding lemon is not something I would do, this yogurt bake is not too sweet at all...
I make it with lemon flavored Greek yogurt. The recipe I have didn't say anything about adding fruit, so I am going to try that. I think I will use strawberry Greek yogurt and add fresh strawberries. Also, the recipe I have calls for four tablespoons of cornstarch instead of the flour. That works for me because I always have cornstarch.
Yes, there are so many different combinations you can try with this simple recipe.
YES another great recipe ..
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Heading into the kitchen right now to make this healthy high protein dessert. You just saved me from having a handful of storebought one bite brownies.
Hope you enjoyed the recipe!
Looks great. Don't need to add any oil to grease the glass baking pan?
Glad you like it! I actually spread a thin layer of butter at the bottom of the pan, but parchment paper will do the work too.
I just made it. Came out very good only I needed about 40min on 340F bc at 30min it was still too wet/jiggly.
Also I wanna try and play around with the oat flour maybe increasing it by a tbsp see if it holds a little more firm? Overall it was very good tho thank you.
Thanks Mark, I appreciate your feedback, you're right there're definitely more variations to explore with this recipe!
Looks great. If I want to use normal Youghurt how can I adjust the Other ingridients?
Thanks! I think adding 2-3 more tablespoons of oat flour will make it thick enough, or you can even use some non-liquid sweetener to reduce the amount of moisture in the recipe.
I made this it’s really good. Next time I’m gonna add strawberries.
That's great, thanks for your feedback!
You should get into the protein bar business with that carb to protein ratio
Yummmm
super recept! jesi borovnice otopio prije pečenja ili si ih direktno umjesio u smjesu?
Drago mi je da ti se sviđa! Nisam, smrznute borovnice direktno u smjesu i na pečenje.
@@HowToCookSmarter super, hvala ti
Would regular yogurt work for this recipe? Thank you.
Yes, but I would double the amount of flour in that case.
Strain it by putting it in a piece of cloth or just put a paper towel over it with edges hanging out.
is it possible to make this a keto friendly and glueten free version ?
I think it would be more keto if you use almond flour and your prefered keto sweetener.
Looks delish cn diabetics eat this
It's definitely not too sweet, so I would say yes.
Lep recept i izgleda ukusno. Pozz :)
Hvala puno Ivana, nadam se da ćeš ga isprobati! Pozz iz Osijeka!
I have some frozen mango that might go well with this recipe!
Sure, go with the mango.
Oh it looks delicious!!!! but I don't have an oven, I was watching the recipe wishing it could be made in the microwave 😅. thanks anyway! 😁
why not, you can give it a try in your microwave, you can make 1/4 of the recipe, make sure you use the lowest power setting on your microwave
@@HowToCookSmarter Ohh okey! I'll try it in my microwave then, thanks for the tip!!! 😉
I made It yesterday (with vanille) as dessert and had It as breakfast. It is deliscious!!! but a bit to much egg taste. Can I use less eggs and more flour?
Hi, thanks for trying it out, and yes, you can add a bit more flour and also the yogurt.
Kplus Greek yogurt?
Hrvatska?
Thank You 🥰
Pozz iz Osijeka!
Any substitutes for eggs ? Amazing recipe btw.
It would be pretty hard to substitute eggs in this recipe, maybe aquafaba, but haven't tried it.
How to make it with less carbs? Will using almond or other nut flours work?
Almond flour would be just great
@@HowToCookSmarter thanks
That's a decent protein to carb ratio.
I would add an extra egg to try to get to 20 g of protein for metabolism. Maybe some almonds on the side?
Why not, you can sprinkle some almond flakes on top.
Will this work with nondairy yogurt? I cannot have milk products.
Sure, just make sure it's creamy type of yogurt.
How much yogurt or any type of liquid would I have to use with coconut flour?
Not sure about it, definitely more liquid, or less coconut flour.
Can I use All purpose flour or whole wheat white flour to replace Oat flour?
Hi Julia, using whole wheat flour would be just fine (and all-purpose, but I would go with whole wheat).
@@HowToCookSmarter Thanks!
I had low fat greek yoghurt and coconut flour so I made it with those, as well as maple syrup. it was very easy to make and I like the taste, but mine took a long time to bake and came out a weird consistency - a bit juicy, not as firm as in the video. I wonder if it's because of the low fat yoghurt, the coconut flour, or both?
I guess both might be the reason why the consistency was different, next time try to change at least one of these.
Love it
Glad you like it!
