    This is DEFINITELY the best scone recipe that I have ever used. I used a Stevia calorie free sweetener in place of sugar for both the scone recipe and the glaze using a granular for the scone recipe and a confectioner's Stevia for the glaze. I have tried "numerous" scone recipes using a Keto Almond and/or Coconut flour and never did really find one that appealed to me. I a DONE researching scone recipes after trying this one. THIS is IT ! Thank You !

      Hi Wally! Wonderful to hear? Which keto flour did you use? I’d love to try it and recommend to viewers! Thanks for the very helpful feedback - I have lots of viewers asking for lower carb and lower sugar versions of baked goods 😊, Marie

      Hi Yolande! So glad you like them! Keep in mind you can add other fruits like peaches or blueberries in the spring and summer. Or white chocolate chips and dried cranberries! Lots of ways to have fun with this recipe. ❤️, Marie

    I wanted to make these for breakfast this morning but it seemed like too much work for morning 😂 So what I did was put all the dry ingredients together last night then this morning added the diced apple and heavy cream and vanilla and made the dough, cut them up and baked them. So good!! 👍🏼👍🏼

      You’re genius! 🙌🏼 Measuring out dry ingredients is a bit of a hassle 😩 So smart of you to break it up. And I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed them today! They really are so good, and the apple cinnamon combo makes me ready for fall! Thanks for watching and for taking time to leave a note - I always love to hear from viewers 😊 Stay tuned for more new recipes coming soon! Hugs, Marie

    ❤Hi there, what difference would adding an egg to this make. There are recipes for scones that do use eggs for richness. What would that do the texture, and would that make them rise the same❤ Thank you for your Channel,l am from the U.K.

    • @marieskitchen
      @marieskitchen  3 місяці тому

      Hi Patricia! Thanks for watching 😊 I love the idea of adding an egg for richness. The only issue is that the dough would probably be too wet, and you might have to spoon them onto the parchment like drop biscuits, which is not necessarily a bad thing ☺️ The rise should be the same either way. Let me know if you try it and I’ll do the same! Big hugs, Marie

    What kind of vanilla do you use?

    • @marieskitchen
      @marieskitchen  7 місяців тому

      Hi Virginia! I love a Mexican vanilla called La Vencedora. I buy it in a big jar in Amazon. However a viewer recently informed me that the product contains some artificial vanilla in addition to pure vanilla, so please be aware before purchasing ❤️, Marie

    Would grating the apple also be ok? if one wants the flavor without the chunks?

    • @marieskitchen

      @@marieskitchen Can I use milk instead of cream?

    • @Lilliancooks
      @Lilliancooks 2 роки тому +1

      @@marieskitchen just tried these and they were a big hit. I didn’t have heavy cream so I made a mixture of ricotta, water and a tablespoon of melted butter...it worked fine, but I had to add about an extra 1/4 cup of flour...and I only used 1 cup of the ricotta/water mixture. Love how easy this is to make. Thanks for posting😀👍
