In the HUB Essentials Checklist you listed it did not support "Deep Sleep can be Disable" I am currently using a MSI 321URX monitor and in settings you can change the power button to "Standby" which makes the power button only turn off the panel and backlight instead of the default setting OFF which turn off the whole monitor including the KVM switch. I consider this a useful feature on this monitor especially for OLED monitor to be able to turn of the screen without having to reposition things on Windows and also not having my keyboard and mouse on the KVM switch turn off when the monitor is off.

Thanks for the review. I was so hyped while waiting for OLED, but the risk of burn-in is a no-go for me. What 32" monitor would you recommend for multipurpose use? I'll be using it for 7 hours of work and 6 hours of gaming.
¥217,800 here in Japan. This is compared to the Alienware which is ¥159,800 a ¥60,000 (approx. $400 USD) difference. I just got my 27” AW OLED Monitor and am very happy with it
Really baffling that they're basically charging scalper prices outside of the US. Dell isn't but they only sell to some countries, with no option to ship abroad.
Looks like a top monitor, but the UK price is also massively inflated vs the USA - £1299 to pre-order 😑 Here's hoping the competitive market for OLED monitors forces price drops over the next few months.
MSI has already mentioned that turning off OLED care features would lead to voiding burn-in specific warranty. How come these features are turned off by default? Has MSI changed their view on this?
Should have tested the HDR400 mode as well. 10% APL doesn't represent the whole picture. TFT Central has discovered that the accuracy of these OLED monitor suffers significantly on larger APLs, especially so in HDR1000 modes.
6k PLN in Poland. 4k PLN for the LG 42C3. If you can fit the TV on your desk and sit around 80-90 cm from it (eyes - screen distance), don’t bother with the 32-inchers IMO, unless you care about competitive FPS gaming.
my biggest gripe with the latest MSI QD-OLED monitors is no G Sync compatibility. Their adaptive sync sucks with an Nvidia GPU. I keep getting flickering whenever I have it enabled. Had the 360HZ 1440p monitor and exchanged it for the this monitor and it still does the same thing. Probably going to get rid of it and pay the extra cost for the Asus one as at least theirs is G Sync compatible certified.

And whrn i disable HDR in windows it will go in sRGB mode, and when i turn on HDR in Windows it will switch to the HDR mode ? Am i missing something ? Amazing monitor that I'd love to try, but the price difference in Europe destroys it competitively. In Spain I've seen it available for 1399€, while the Asus costs 1499€... kinda crazy to be honest. Price to performance a M32U feels hard to beat 😅
You recommended the PG27AQDM and now I'm stuck with it and I can't return it because there are no defects in it . This terrible monitor, kicks in the ABL every time a flash appears when I'm playing STREET FIGHTER 6 (game has a lot of flashing with hits and moves) , game is almost unplayable with how brightness keeps going up and down
@@cellanjones28I "downgraded" from the LG 32GQ950. That monitor was bright and never had these issues. This oled already dim at 100% brightness because stages in SF6 are all bright and sunny. Dimming it further will force me to always play in the dark in order to see 😐
MSI/ASUS prices are really messed up in Europe. It's hard to justify not getting Alienware for 1120e. I hope the MSI 950$ MRSP will be reflected in EU prices soon.
I never understand EU prices either. The monitors are probably made in China so shipping them to either Europe or the US is the same. The only thing that's left then is sales tax (VAT) which is 20% $950 x 1.2 = $1140 which is €1050 But in Europe it's around €1450 So where does the extra €400 go to?
Great review! Just ordered mine. Does the HDR cause any increase in input or system latency? I'm wanting to know if I should have it on when I play high competitive FPS games. Thanks!
I thought the reason other monitors were more bulky is because they had more cooling of the display. If this is is so thin is this going to burn in faster or not get nearly as bright over time?
How come the msi logo is shown on the front at around 3:50 but not anywhere else? Is it lit somehow or how is it not visible elsewhere so far in the video?
May I ask if you could add recommendation to hybrid users ( gaming and productivity)? Things like how text look like, and burn in for someone using word or excel or coding. In that regard would you recommend oled monitors? or should I seek for a IPS-Black or another type of panel for the best quality in gaming and media posible?
Curious if you could comment on the anti-burn in features that might of popped up during the testing of these 3rd Gen 32" 240 OLED displays? How disruptive might any on-screen pops ups been etc?
Every 4 hours, or 16 if you change it in the OSD. And it took long enough for me to just walk away and eat dinner... Don't know how long it takes yet. By brightness levels are only HDR400 which peaks at 450 nid for me, peak 1000 is beautiful, but too bright for me. With the brightness of my usual usage, I'll probably turn on the 16 hour mode
£1300/1400 EUR = $950 (no tax, but US tax is tiny). MSI has fked the pricing in Europe. Alienware is >£300 cheaper, lol.

I want this one because it's the only one with a peel to protect it from scratching in shipping but they're only in stock for 2 minutes.
This "cheap" screen in France is at the same price as the PG32UCDM. I don't get it.
It's almost as if different regions have different prices. Who would have thought?!
@@DrakonR What's the point of your comment beside being mean for no reason ? The MPG is cheaper than the PG32 therefore it should be cheaper everywhere. It's cheaper because it's the same panel but with less features. So selling it at the same price doesn't make any financial sense.
@@jonathaningram8157 you need to rub two brain cells together and understand that different regions have different economies. Just because X costs Y in one region, doesn't mean it should cost Y in another region.

@@DrakonR Ok so you just want to be an a-hole. I'm sure your friends love you a lot. bye.
Great video as usual and thanks for all the information on these new Oled monitors, you guys are the best. Oh are you guys going to review the fo32u2p with dp2.1 soon? since I heard it’s to release in March. Thank you again.
STOP PUTTING SILVER BEZELS ON MONITORS
Looks fine
This monitor is $1500 in Poland. XDXDXD WOLEDs comming this year are better though. Much brighter! :) LG realased 1440p variant a few weeks ago already and it costs 1/3 less. At least in Europe.
Edit: It's not really confirmed if its a new gen panel but it got soome pretty big improvements.
The GS? Yeah it's a refresh of GR with a new gen panel.
Too bad that all of the WOLED monitors have matte finish...
Great review as always. As i'm in Europe then its a real shame MSI are not are implementing the same pricing strategy, which means I'd be more tempted to go for the Asus model at a slight premium. To buy the MSI at the same cost considering the US/Europe disparity feels like a bit of a raw deal otherwise. However, I'm keen to see upcming reviews of the 27" 360Hz variants before I finally make up my mind on which size OD-OLED to buy.
No buy unless it has DV IQ. This is an absolute game changer which makes scenes look very watchable even in a sunlit room.
Prices in Europe for those monitors are really weird right now.
For example, the Alienware AW2725DF costs 889€ on Dell's website but the lowest price I could find for the MSI MPG 271QRX was 999€ which doesn't make any sense.
And it's the same thing for the AW3225QF which costs 1120€ vs 1350€ for the MSI MPG 321URX.
I'm looking forward to the roundup once all the monitors with this panel have been reviewed. Might finally update my 2008 Samsung Syncmaster T240s
16:10 Thanks for that info. This is a make or break between MSI vs ROG.
I like how the Asus has DV Toggle and allows you to make the display 27inch or 24 inch for competitive use. No other QD OLED monitor has this feature
@@Kapono5150now that you mentioned a 27", I would prefer this 32" come in a 27".
@@0x8badbeef Awe man that would look crispy as hell. I’m currently using 27 inch so I’m actually wanting a 32 inch. I’m just gonna continue to wait for the Asus as the AW has a fan.
Hopefully an Alienware AW3225QF review is in the works
Managed to pickup G9 OLED for about $760 off amz warehouse; might be too much real estate moving from a 21:9 but nothing close to that price thats better
Can't wait for the 480Hz OLEDs
LG already has one
Really appreciate the in depth analysis!
I will wait for the other brands/models that will be launched,
so I can compare them.
Really appreciate the burn-in background information. My primary use will be for sim racing, so I'm assuming I have very little to worry about with the added benefit of the 3-year warranty if I opt to purchase this particular monitor.
Just got my 27 360hz 1440p, can't wait for you to review it and maybe help me tweak it a tiny bit. I'm very satisfied with it and really can't complain about anything. If someone wants to know something about it I'm all ears.
i have it too! i really dont like how green it looks like on DCI-P3 tho
@@akacaali yeah the color profiles are not the greatest, especially the white for me, but I tweaked it in nvidia control panel to my liking, and it's good at least for content consumption with colors that pop that I expected from it. Maybe something that can be fixed in future firmware updates. And that’s why I'm looking forward to the reviews of it that could help me tweak it even more.
This page is so fun I’m not even in the market for a monitor lol
Are you planing to review LG 27gs95qe? I already got one from preorder and the are no real reviews, just some first impresions from a few small channels. I got mine for 800 euro so around 675 dollars + VAT tax. It was preorder deal btw
Can you review the MAG321UP it's a cheaper 144 hz version of the UPX
the amount of technical stuff tim talks about that i dont understand is amazing xd what is more amazing is that i keep watching anyways 😂
Thanks for the review. I was so hyped while waiting for OLED, but the risk of burn-in is a no-go for me. What 32" monitor would you recommend for multipurpose use? I'll be using it for 7 hours of work and 6 hours of gaming.
Guess it's time I finally upgrade to 4K. Been with the ROG PG278Q since 2015.
Dell isn't but they only sell to some countries, with no option to ship abroad.
any chance for a dell 32 4k review? here in germany its the only one with decent pricing
Looks like a top monitor, but the UK price is also massively inflated vs the USA - £1299 to pre-order 😑
Here's hoping the competitive market for OLED monitors forces price drops over the next few months.
Thank you so much for this indepth review. 5/5. When and where will this be available to order?
Probably going to get rid of it and pay the extra cost for the Asus one as at least theirs is G Sync compatible certified.
hi, thank you so much for the review
This will be my 1st OLEd and 1st HDR monitor and i am a bit lost with what i have to do.
For what i understand :
-Turn on all brun-in protections
-Activate sRGB profile
-THEN turn on HDR
-Chose the 1000nit peak brighteness setting
And then i'm good to go ? And whrn i disable HDR in windows it will go in sRGB mode, and when i turn on HDR in Windows it will switch to the HDR mode ?
Am i missing something ?
Also, is there any good reason to use the Gaming Intelligence software besides just having easier control of the options ?
Thanks
When will they be in Best Buy for purchase anyone know??
They have already sold out on Best Buy.
@@業傑克 really I didn’t see it online?
Great review. Hoping you'll get a chance to review PG38UQ.
€1399 in the Netherlands, fuck these price markups.
Thank you. This Video was exactly what I searched. I like your very analitical Style a lot. The Price Tag of the MSI Monitor is somthing that make me wait until Summer or autumn.
Will you be reviewing the Alienware qd-oleds?
Honestly wish they would just do a whole box design on the back for better cooling and we all know it would look better then the massive box
Can the white LED at the bottom of display be turned off?
i read in a review elsewhere that you can’t. maybe tape something over it?
Amazing monitor that I'd love to try, but the price difference in Europe destroys it competitively. In Spain I've seen it available for 1399€, while the Asus costs 1499€... kinda crazy to be honest. Price to performance a M32U feels hard to beat 😅
Thank you for the review MUB!
You recommended the PG27AQDM and now I'm stuck with it and I can't return it because there are no defects in it . This terrible monitor, kicks in the ABL every time a flash appears when I'm playing STREET FIGHTER 6 (game has a lot of flashing with hits and moves) , game is almost unplayable with how brightness keeps going up and down
Can't you turn it down in game ?
@@cellanjones28 I'm playing on max brightness. Should I turn on protection features like screen saver?
@@ZiZo34344 I would lower it by the sounds.
@@cellanjones28I "downgraded" from the LG 32GQ950. That monitor was bright and never had these issues. This oled already dim at 100% brightness because stages in SF6 are all bright and sunny. Dimming it further will force me to always play in the dark in order to see 😐
@@ZiZo34344 try the In game settings.
In Europe the price are 1400 / 1500 € , super expensive for just a monitor for gaming
MSI/ASUS prices are really messed up in Europe. It's hard to justify not getting Alienware for 1120e. I hope the MSI 950$ MRSP will be reflected in EU prices soon.
@@dfasdfgdsfdf588 yeah the price its a big NO for just a monitor
I never understand EU prices either. The monitors are probably made in China so shipping them to either Europe or the US is the same. The only thing that's left then is sales tax (VAT) which is 20%
$950 x 1.2 = $1140 which is €1050
But in Europe it's around €1450
So where does the extra €400 go to?
@@Ni5ei Go to their pockets, nah too expensive, years waiting and they put overpriced for the Oled hype

@Monitors Unboxed, would you please add some test on how it performs with a Mac especially on the text quality side, thanks
Great review! Just ordered mine. Does the HDR cause any increase in input or system latency? I'm wanting to know if I should have it on when I play high competitive FPS games. Thanks!
That isn’t a problem on oled displays. Only on mini leds.
Are you planning an reviewing the 27" version? Or may we simply expect similar results?
I thought the reason other monitors were more bulky is because they had more cooling of the display. If this is is so thin is this going to burn in faster or not get nearly as bright over time?
I can't unsee the power led under the screen.
Hi, would you review some KTC monitors as well in the futures? They look promising
