    Now that you walked me through the set-up, my numbers make more sense. Before it looked like I was getting 300% protein and very little fat. Now the fat I eat is better allotted.

    I didn't know how to optimally use it, so I never did. I'm going to have to watch this video several times, but I think I can do this. I can't seem to change the time on my fitbit! So yes, I am challenged when it comes to electronics. It would help me sooooo much if I could track. 😁

    Hi Joe and Rachel, again!!! I just wanted to tell you I've been using Cronometer since you two have talked so much about it and after you made this video, I was much better able to understand it! Thank you DEARLY!! I have now SUBSCRIBED to it! I LOVE this App!!! I am at my goal weight, but sometimes I can fluctuate, and I find it VERY interesting to learn what nutrients are in the foods I eat, what the BEST foods to eat are, and why some days I feel better than others just by scrolling back and reading what I did or did not eat! I LOVE this app so much, yes, I had to subscribe to it! I LOVE the foods are verified, or most brand name foods are verified! No other app can say that! I've learned a LOT, and I want to learn even MORE! Today I took the plunge! I'm excited to share this with you, so I had to! Thank you SO MUCH for this video, I've watched it several times, and can easily see how it will continue to be helpful for me, a veteran at Ketovore for 5+ years even!
    You two are GOLDEN!!! If it weren't for you two using this particular app, and for showing us the 'how-to' of using it, I may not have gotten the hang of it! One of my favorite things about it is when I am in the store and say I am comparing Pork Rinds! SOME Pork Rinds are higher in protein rather than FAT!!! Whoa!!! I NEVER would have known that had I not had that app! I want my fat to be higher than my protein, of course! Now I CAN fine-tune it even better!
    I HAVE reversed two auto-immune diseases during the time I've been on Keto, most recently was Sjogren's Syndrome! I had severe dry mouth, and Joe, like you, I've lost almost ALL of my own teeth due to the SAD diet! Saliva keeps our teeth healthy! With the lack of it, I had no clue, I just adjusted to it without even knowing it, except for the part where I knew I was always thirsty!!! Wow!! Hated that part!!! Ohhhhh, if ONLY we had known about this HEALTHY lifestyle of eating from birth! Anyway, Sjogren's HAS REVERSED itself on me! Now I have funny stories to tell about my excess saliva! Lololol!!! I'll catch myself drooling, NOT kidding! Lololol!!! This has JUST been happening over the last 3 or 4 months! Or, I'll sometimes choke on my own saliva, I'm just not used to having it!!! I WISH I had ALL my OWN teeth!! I WISH I COULD make the money to get implants, but sadly I do have a very rare neurological muscle disease called Stiff Person Syndrome, and I am not able to work due to it, so I just do not have the money to invest in transplants, but what i would GIVE to get them!!! I ENVY YOU!! I DO!!!! It's SO WORTH IT!!! You've made a super WISE choice because with dentures or other appliances to fill in the areas where we don't have teeth, it SUCKS!!! Yes, we DO LOSE TASTE due to them! Foods just don't have the 'authentic' taste they SHOULD have . . . I'm stuck like this for the rest of my life . . . but everything was out of my control back then. No one knew what caused Sjogren's! No one knew it CAN be reversed! I certainly did not! Plus it took continuing to live Keto/Carnivore for OVER 5+ years before my body gave it up! This IS an "optimize your health" lifestyle of eating", NOT any type of weight loss diet! Sure! The weight DOES come off naturally, and is easily sustainable to keep it off! HOORAY there!!! At this point, regardless of ALL the benefits of this lifestyle of eating, I just cannot EVER go back to the OLD way of eating the SAD diet! And I'm PROUD to say that!! I wish you continued success with your teeth transplants, and I'm right there with you during the good and the bad of it because I KNOW!!! Maybeeeee one day I'll get to be able to? You never know!! I keep thinking positively about it! This last weekend I went camping with a TON of wonderful friends!!! NO ONE knows about my teeth! I had to HIDE the fact they are not MINE!!! Luckily I had my own private tent! Phew!!!!! I COULD hide the fact and clean what I needed to overnight! Phew!! Another hard part about it, holding down what is not yours in your mouth! NEVER allowing others to see or notice you DO have or DID have dental issues and still in a way suffer from them! Yes, my gums get SO inflamed After 3 nights of ONLY getting to brush them, that 4th night of HIDING and taking them OUT felt amazinggggg to be able to do it! But it took WORK!!! Making sure ALL my tent flaps were UP so I did have complete privacy! In the long run, ALL the issues you are going through now, they WILL pay off!!! Again, I DO keep hoping one day I AM ABLE to do what ou are doing now!
    My 2nds autoimmune reversal happened quite quickly~ Pre-Diabetes!!! GONE!!! YAYAYAY!!! Every blood draw, by A1C level is a consistent 5.4!!! HOORAY!!!!!
    I hope to get that even lower now with the help of Cronometer!!!! Plus, it's FUN to use! FUN and HELPFUL to even look back for those times when I need to!

    I was only half paying attention (because I was playing with the app while your video was running). I can't wait to go back and rewatch. I figured out you can use the "add note" to create meal "headers" in the free version so you can organize your food rather than just having a long list, and you can copy them (the notes) to another day, just like you can your foods. I'll probably go with the paid version of Cronometer after my Healthi subscription expires.

    If I looked at the calories, I would not get enough calories and my metabolism would tank (because the calories limit is so low). I eat way more calories than the 1653 calories the program allows and I still lose. Last week Iost 4 lbs....and that is for a 56 yr old, post menopausal woman. I let it count my exercise calories because it sort of freaks me out when I look and there are no calories left for dinner, LOL. I do ADF, so that may be it, but I was losing even without ADF, just slower. For me, I look at the protein and aim for at least 140, but prefer to be around 170. I keep my fat the same or slightly more than the protein. I keep carbs under 20, but look more at net to be under 10. Started tracking with your first Cronometer video and I really love it. I thought I had been in a stall, but when I started tracking, it showed the weight loss was slow and steady...that was before ADF, when I was recovering from a knee injury. One other thing Cronometer proved to me is that I am getting more than sufficient nutrients from a 98% carnivore diet.

    I found the phone different than the desk top. For instance I don’t have a designated “breakfast “, “lunch”, “dinner”. It just lists the food (I don’t mind that though) I don’t see anywhere to list my water. I see the water included in the food. It lists goals in grams? I think? Not ounces or cups & it won’t let you change (I add it in notes) I also get bar graphs & not circles. Plus I couldn’t eliminate seeing the graph for calories. All in all I like it. I just need to get used to it. I still have to figure out adding favorites & copy paste the day because I too am like Rachel & eat the same things most days. Thank you both for doing this. It’s very helpful and generous of you.

      If you don't see categories, you probably have the free version. You get to break out the foods by categories with the paid Gold version.

    I’ve used MFP for several years but all my favorite Keto UA-camrs recommend Chronometer. I downloaded it and am planning to switch to the paid version when my MFP subscription runs out. This video was so thorough! Thank you so much. One question: When setting up my goals how do I determine my goal weight? I’ve been overweight so long I have no idea what I should target. Everything I’ve found online mention BMI but I’ve heard many people say the BMI scale isn’t a good thing to go by. Do you have a recommendation on how to set this goal?

    after seeing this, I really think I want to switch to Chronometer but hate losing my 'consecutive days' in MFP - 3345 days or 9.16 years!! I'm also sure if I switch, I would want to do GOLD and not sure I should add that to my spending right now but considering it

    I can friend request but after I get my friend I don't know how to get their recipes. I love this but it will take me a while to figure it out. The phone is different from the desktop.

      The recipes will show up when you type in the name of recipe in a diary entry. You can also go to foods and hit custom recipes

    Help 🙂 I've added my breakfast and morning hot beverage in Chronometer. I want to keep track of the percentages of fat and protein as I'm trying out 80/20 Carnivore. I've changed the Macronutrient settings from fixed values to macro ratios and vice versa. Carb target is zero. In the fixed values setting, the protein is 49%, carbs 14% and fat 48%. When I change it to macro ratio settings, the protein is 36%, carbs 0% and fat 76%. Why would the percentages change? Please help me understand. If I want to track how much fat and protein I'm getting per meal, should I be using the fixed value setting?

      Only use fixed values that you enter. None of these calculators are good at figuring out macros. Here is a good estimate. 100 grams of protein and 180 grams of fat is 80/20 fat to protein. With that said, We dont advise eating to any macros. This is just another way of counting calories.

    I have the Gold and my screens do not look like yours. You went too fast through each item. You should have taken each section a little slower. It was hard to keep up. Too much info at once. You should have made this into several smaller videos.

    @2krazyketos or anyone HELP please I’m so confused. I want to maintain my weight at 118lbs but when i follow the instructions of carb/fat combo SHOULD equal my weight it is waaaay off! Using the recommended macro calculator (ketogains) it says my Carbs should be 20 and Fats should be 141! Those totals = 161 How can this be right?! Entering ALL my measurements and such they even recommended I just maintain my 118lb and these two numbers added up is a far cry from that SOOO I’m confused
