Similar results here and I have only been on the carnivore diet for 5 weeks! I am 57 and my wife and I started noticing results after only 1 week. All aches and pains in my body, joints, back ache, etc. all disappeared during the 2nd week! All stomach issues like bloating, gas, reflux, IBS gone by week 2. I feel younger and can jump out of bed or get up from a chair right away now where before it took me a minute because I was sore. I was not too overweight btw. I am 6'1 and was fluctuating between 190 and 200lbs, but had high BP, cholesterol and problems with my stomach, many foods bothered me, arthritis settling in, etc. so I went carnivore purely for health reasons and get off the BP and Statin meds (of 16 years) which were messing me up with their side effects. Also I had noticed my fasting glucose was 90 or higher when it used to be 75, and my doc told me I was pre-diabetic, plus a chest CT scan showed mild arterial calcification/plaque. Also had a Upper GI which showed advanced gastritis.. I was a mess and had to do something. Now I am down 11lbs to 179 after 5 weeks and feeling better, looking better, and started walking 1.5-2 miles at a fast pace 3x/week and gradually increasing the distance. I could not walk 1 mile at a regular pace before. I plan on lifting some weights too so that the protein has somewhere to go.. My wife lost 12 pounds and feeling better and wants to lose 20-25 more to get to the 120's to see if she might be able to get off the Thyroid meds down the road. I got off the statin (zocor) when I started the carnivore diet and had blood tests 2 weeks after just to have a baseline and compare to blood work I intend to have done in 2-3 months.

As a physician I heard you speak of the Carnivore and I heard your daughter speak. I researched the subject and decided to try myself a little over two years ago. As I recommend to my patients, what I have seen is that their chronic illnesses fell away as did their need for medicines. Once you realize that the cholesterol -heart hypothesis is garbage. The American Nutritional Guidelines are also wrong and dangerous. Medicine is dictated by Big Pharm. Our food has changed over the last 100 years so much so that I believe this is the cause of most chronic illness, cancers, autoimmune disorders. As humans we did not eat significant amounts of vegetables or fruits or nuts as today’s nutritional gurus would have us believe. Carnivore diet is the ultimate elimination diet while actually ingestion essential nutrients. I am a devoted Carnivore and can argue for this diet with any nay sayer. Whoever is interviewing you doesn’t know what he doesn’t know. He is locked into his indoctrination and how we treat diabetics is insane. @@brittalbach416 I'm on the high fat carnivore journey. For a week I ate three meals a day with added butter 110g a day, a tin of sardines with every meals and fatty steak. I was STUFFED. I believe I have burn out and adrenal fatigue and saturated fats replenish the hormones. My eating has settled down to two meals a day now, although I still try to eat breakfast on stress days and I'm also lifting heavy and slow at the gym to bring stress levels down. Somedays I know I'm in ketosis because I'm buzzing with energy from head to toe, yet I'm calm and alert, the world is a brighter place and I'm at peace inside. Best feeling every! I didn't fully realise how sick I have been. Yet I went to the doctor for burn out and she told me to stop eating red meat. I have done the opposite. My issue now is to become consistent and not compromise my health and well being for fear of offending others. I add mct oil and coconut oil to coffee or sometimes I add butter instead. At work if there's only milk I'll add my mct oil to that and try to stick to just one cup of milk coffee. It seems okay for me right now, but as I continue I will need a carnivore doctor's help in the future and I may have to stop drinking coffee. The general advice is to have black coffee but add butter.

@@kcc879 thank you very muh, Kathy, for all this information. So you did not go on the carnivore diet for weight loss ? Very interesting what you say about hormone replenishing and burnout. And that you felt a lot better psychologically too.
I am interested especially because I cannot lose weight. I always switch around between keto and vegan because meat makes you gain weight and vegans are so skinny but I never get full on vegan diets.
However when I have tried to eat proteins and no carbs I always fall off the wagon (I love meat) and then I eat carbs and get fatter than before.
Ethically I always feel bad eating animals but I cannot live without meat completely. I did notice that one has more energy without the sugar and carbs but to eat only meat when you live with others who cook and serve good food is very hard.
Thank you again, maybe I will try carnivore like you do too

Same here! The migraines and headaches were gone after 1 week (!) and also all aches & pains in my body! Also no gas, reflux, no bloating, etc. All gone by the end of week 2 and brain fog has diminished greatly. I went carnivore 5 weeks ago for purely health reasons, but I don't mind the weight loss. I was 6'1 190 to 195 lbs and could lose a few but it was not my main concern, but rather my high BP, high triglycerides, low HDL, joint pain/arthritis, stomach issues and rising fasting glucose. Now I a down to 179, and most people can afford to lose a few pounds anyway. My wife and I have more energy and feel younger too. We both lost 11 pounds after 4 weeks and now we are down 12-13 in the 5th week. We are rarely hungry now and have no cravings. We eat 2 meals/day: 3-4 eggs with bacon or sausage in the morning around 9-10am and then steak, burgers with hard cheese (usually grated parmesan), or fish at 5-6pm after work (we both work from home). Occasionally we 'll have pork chops or chicken legs, but beef is the most nutritious and best to repair your body of any ailments and get your immune system back into shape, according to all the doctors here on YT that are eating and promoting the carnivore diet to fix your health issues. We do take vitamin C supplements and may start taking Folate which is another vitamin some carnivore doctors recommend, as that is hard to get the RDA from just meats, fish or eggs.

We pay less than before for groceries when we were eating all the processed crap, like chips/cookies/crackers, ice cream, bread, pasta, and cake. It is so good now to just walk into the store and buy meat/fish, butter, bacon and eggs, and we buy the slightly more expensive grass-fed beef (steaks & ground beef) and pastured eggs. We are in and out in 15 min. Meal planning and shopping is so much simpler now. We figured out we spend about $175/wk now, $200 max, for the 2 of us, when before we spent $250-275/wk with all the junk food, and well over $300 when we ate out. We still ate out twice in 5 weeks because friends invited us due to special occasions (father's day,, etc) and we just order seafood. Salmon or seafood combo which comes with enough different fish is usually best to order and most filling, or a big steak when eating out.

My N=1 story, to help get the message out there:
During the extreme lockdown here in the Philippines, January 2021 I was obese type 2 with pre-diabetes and high blood pressure. I was suffering from metabolic syndrome. I understood the comorbidity I had as a 58 year old would greatly affect me if I contracted the Rona. I had to lose fat, reverse hypertension, reverse my NAFLD and reduce my HbA1c.
Sitting in my armchair at the beginning of lockdown I saw that the keto/ketovore/carnivore diet claimed it could ‘cure’ my ailments. I watched a bunch of videos and tried to make sense of the linked papers supporting the claims. End result was that it simply made a lot of sense to me.
8 months later, whilst still sitting in my armchair (most of the time). I had lost the 30kg/66lbs of fat that was required to get me down to a ‘normal’ BMI, I GREATLY improved my blood pressure to the point it raised my wife’s eyebrows, she’s a First Responder. My blood sugar was well back in to the ‘normal’ range. I vastly reduced inflammation.
I also reversed IBS that had controlled my life for 40 years (I lost jobs because of it), got rid of decades long debilitating heartburn, my Testosterone went up drastically and I stopped snoring … my wife is happy 🤓 I was ‘foggy’ & forgetful, possible early stage MCI, I sometimes also slurred my words and forgot what I was talking about mid sentence, this has completely reversed! Undiagnosed but recognised by my family I got out of a bad case of lockdown depression.
A few months ago I further decided to cut out most vegetables from my meat heavy Keto WOE, only adding a little onion, garlic, green peppers and tomato for some flavour. Improvements are continuing with a pace with better mental health, blood markers, skin condition etc.
Simply eating nutrient dense meat, HEAVY in animal fat, single ingredient real food is all it took …
Whilst cutting out processed food, sugar/carbohydrates and seed/‘vegetable’ oils.
We THRIVE when eating our evolved, species specific Proper Human Diet with some intermittent fasting to mimic the way our ancestors survived.
I’m sure there are thousands upon thousands of people that have similar N=1 stories to tell … Please tell them … get the message out there!

I wish I'd started earlier, although I'd been reading about it for some time I was very sceptical. My friends and family clearly think I'm mad, despite seeing my change I can tell they don't believe it. This diet approach could help so many people. Hope it gains greater acceptance into the mainstream.

I think the reason this works is (a) blood sugar and insulin kept at a very low average level which reduces inflammation. (b) All the vitamins minerals and micro nutrition are over 95 % bio available on a meat diet. (b)Hormone levels are optimized because of the fats which in turn optimizes body composition. (c)Protein intake on this diet is at a level that would accommodate an elite athletes requirements. (d)All inflammatory food are de-facto excluded. (e) Evolutionary this was the main source of human nutrition.

In the US, most beef is grain fed, and most of this grain is of the gmo variety. This is an unnatural diet for cows. Also, most of our beef gets an ample dose of hormones. I wonder how this might affect a carnivore diet? Perhaps Canadian beef is more of the free-range type. I'm very particular about the meat I consume for that reason. But inspite of it all, a carnivore diet is probably much less processed (implying less inflammatory) than boxed or canned or pre-prepared food that most people have become accustomed to eat.

You were vitamin and nutrient deficient. They destroy all the nutrients in our foods by radiating it to stop bacteria growth but it kills the healthy microbes and nutrients. Seed oils are omega 6 and cause inflammation. Oxalates found in spinach and other leafy greens is also toxic but can be balanced if you eat hard cheeses with it. Grass-fed/finished beef is high in K2 and has omega 3 which is anti inflammatory but corn fed loses all that. Chickens that eat grain lose all K2. so the egss are depleted of this. Lack of K2 is what is leading to insulin residence, calcification of the arteries arthritis, osteopenia, osteoporosis, tooth decay, gum disease and a wide range of other problems. They only recently discovered that this vitamin is the most important one you can have but needs to work with vitamin D3 which is also found in meat. So its easy to see the connection as to why carnivore is so successful. You need animal fats, you need that cholesterol for healthy brain function, A,E,D,K2, Omega 3 all found in all natural meat is why everyone is responding so well.

I developed psoriasis 6 years ago, went into a strict vegan diet for 2 months and after a sauna on a cold night my skin was burnt, the old skin fell entirely in the course of about 2 weeks and there was no trace of psoriasis, I felt amazing.
4 months after complete healing I went back into my old ways of drinking, chain smoking, eating fast foods and other shit, psoriasis came back with a mighty vengeance.
I was being in denial of my condition having heard how it’s incurable, how it will always come back, how the disappearing of the skin condition is anecdotal and how people have to deal with it all their lives long but I just knew deep down inside of me there was a way to cure it, not only because I’ve lived it after suffering for over a year and seeing complete healing for 4 months, but there was always this faith inside of me that I knew if I spent some time researching and discipline myself I would find the way to cure this nightmare of a disease which simply steals the life out of you.
People often think psoriasis is just a skin condition and that it’s only because of a matter of aesthetics that people wish they could get rid of it. It’s true on the social aspect of things, particularly when you hit your 30s but even in your 20s as a male or female adult, but no, it’s not just the outside aspect of it, it literally steals all mental clarity off of you, you feel lethargic all the time, you have insomnias because the inflammation is usually spread out all over your body and your brain (scalp psoriasis), and so besides the sufferer most symptoms cannot be seen, they are only felt, and in 99% of the time simply denied entirely, you begin to think having constant brain fog is the way life works, that for every and anything you gotta do, it being a challenge and an immense effort to put is also the way of life, and it cannot be further from the truth.
When you are healthy life is a just a sweet little ride, you have many desires, you’ve got many needs to make it an ever living joy, but when you are diseased, particularly when you do not know how to heal or are confused as to where it comes from, then life simply resembles a curse, a think you wish could end quickly.
Usually you look back and think “I’ve had many good things before after all”, and so you begin to have the “victim” mentality, where you simply accept the obvious inequity.
Anyways, 5 years later, september 2022, I decided it was enough suffering and that I had to go to war with this thing and make it my goal in life to find the cure, so I went back into a strict vegan diet initially, but the shocker was that after 3 weeks on the diet I just knew something was wrong, the inflammation response to fibers was so painful that I knew right away the previous way I healed through only eating vegetables and grains wasn’t gonna save me this time, so I made my researches and jumped head on into a keto diet, still eating vegetables, salads, carrots, semolina, salmon, broccoli, and lots and lots of sardines and anchovies.
Still, I knew something was wrong, every time I would eat, 5-10 minutes later I would begin to feel intense irritation of the areas where I had psoriatic plaques and drops. I kept going despite the side effects and some areas (armpit and legs) cleared completely without me noticing. One thing I noticed quickly though is that some vegetables would immediately cause me pain so I eliminated broccoli, Brussel sprouts, celeri and spinach, these were the worst and I knew they were not helping at all but on the contrary worsening everything and keeping high levels of inflammation. For 4 months I could barely sleep, I would only find relief in total exhaustion, so I couldn’t keep a normal cycle and the fatigue caused by it just prevents you from exercising or do anything physical.
I followed the ketogenic diet for about 4 months with little improvement like I’m saying, and so having heard about the carnivore diet I decided to give it a try.
Probably the most daunting of all diet, a total shocker to think about only eating beef and nothing else, almost unthinkable, and it took me a few weeks before deciding to jump.
It’s simple : 3 days after only eating ribeye steaks (3 across 72hours literally) everything changed. I felt levels of energy that of which I had not felt but only in my early 20s, felt asleep very easily, little to no sign of inflammation that I usually had after a meal and I was convinced to go through the week to see what happens. To my shocker I just kept getting better day after day and I said to myself this is the way to go, for every time I would eat my steak, I would feel no pain whatsoever, for the first time in decades I could have a normal sleeping cycle and I just knew this was it.
I began cooking with butter and felt a very mild inflammation response at the end of my butt after each meal, just very slightly but still present and after a few weeks I knew this was the issue so I came about eliminating butter from the diet, no inflammation was felt ever since after eating a ribeye steak.
I was craving some eggs so I made myself scrabbled eggs about a month into the diet, 48hours later I woke up with 2 psoriatic drops on my cheek and I knew immediately I developed sensitivity towards eggs as well so I eliminated eggs from the diet as well.
Tried some sardines, no inflammatory response. Tried bonebroth (strictly lamb and beef bones, no herb, no veg into the broth), no inflammatory response.
I’ve been on the carnivore diet only eating ribeye steaks for close to 3 months now with almost no cheating although I ate some chocolate on occasions, but with no real side effect.
Last week, I was craving some fruit, I wanted to try eating fruit after so many months, I wanted some blueberries, it threw me off completely, I had insomnia all week long, I couldn’t sleep, I experienced stomach pains, had diarrhea the whole week and having eaten nothing else but my daily ribeye steak I knew what caused the issue right away.
Since September I have to note I was doing saunas twice a week which felt nice, especially for smoothing plaques, far more efficient than any cream, and today, today as I’m writing this, next week it will be 3 months since I’m into the beef diet, some areas are beginning to clear very rapidly, last week it was still pinky but today my normal skin coloration is taking over and in this particular area (testicules) that’s where the inflammation and irritation had been the most violent and itchy.
I’m clearly seeing signs of remission, I gave myself 3 months initially, then realised it would take a lot longer to heal lesions done on my GI walls.
Oh yes, psoriasis is 100% gastrointestinal related, there is no doubt about any skin issue finding it’s root within the GI tract and that this diet is the healer itself.
I want to note something important. It is that the psoriasis I still have today is not that which resembled the psoriasis I had before healing the first time. The first time the plaques felt as though they were under the skin and not above or on the same level as the skin, this one is like the superior version, so I’m wondering if there are two types of psoriasis actually.
I know many people healed following an alkaline/vegan diet, I was one, but when the psoriasis came back stronger with a vengeance i knew it couldn’t be treated the same way again.
The carnivore diet is no joke, it truly works, no cheating, if you have psoriasis or any other skin condition try it, give it 3 months, and if you see improvements like I do, just keep going to heal fully

@@lavenderface9875 oh man this disease is the worst thing to live with, leading many people to develop cancers or other very complicated issues after developing psoriasis first.
And so if my testimony can help them believe doing the carni diet is not a joke for treating psoriasis and putting it into remission against all the falsehood told by the medical industry, then I win.
If the truth is spread it overtakes everybody and brings peace to the world, but if lies and confusion lingers, it’s only suffering we’re gonna live with.
People need to know the truth, it is time.
I could and probably should have made it lengthier to explain it all with more details, especially on how I do not eat chicken nor pork, not for superstitious reasons but because any type of lectin is harmful to the GI walls, and many chicken have been genetically modified now containing lectins in their flesh (chickens are fed soja and other grains containing harmful toxins to them, and basically we eat sick animals afterwards, no wonder why people develop issues there after) and in the case of pork, it contains a lectin in its flesh since the beginning of time.
All lectins are pro inflammatory, one may not have the sensitivity to feel it, but overtime the toxin accumulates in the body leading to diseases.
Food is the #1 cause of disease 100%, and the same way in reste is peut the food is also the healer itself, and the scientific and medical industries are just keeping the truth for themselves convincing the mass that what they sell is what one needs, they basically live off the suffering of people, even telling people lies that placebo pills or antibiotics lead to healing, it’s falsehood, one will heal through proper nutrition and fasting, when the cells activate themselves into ketosis basically cleaning themselves up.
This normal function of the body comes without consciousness, when one is sick the individual will naturally not crave any food, that’s the body naturally putting itself into ketosis for you, that’s how you heal, but doctors will tell you that they antibiotics will do the trick. What the antibiotic will do is weaken your immune system little by little, and basically the next time you’re gonna have an issue you’re gonna be weaker to fight it naturally.
Along with nightshades like potatoes, bell peppers and these sort of vegs, they contain lectins and are super toxic, by all means you should never have them if you have any type of skin disease, but I don’t believe it is healthy for any healthy individual either…
I believe all skin diseases have the same root of being lesions done to the GI walls that’s for sure, and therefore can be treated and put into remission the same way (Diseases like eczema, dermititis, vitiligo, even Crohns and possibly all names diseases can be treated the same way)
People with psoriasis simply develop a very hardcore sensitivity towards pretty much everything else other than beef, and that one should be extremely watchful about the effect of eating something else, because sometimes an inflammatory response can take days to appear though it usually stands in a 48hour window tops in my experience, that’s why only eating meat is the perfect elimination diet, better than any scientific test done on stools or urine, and you totally get all nutrients in beef (vitamin a, b, even c yes, d and d3 with grass fed, zinc, iron) and one naturally needs water for electrolytes anyways.
It is important that the sufferer does not deny any sign or symptom of inflammation. It is easier said than done when confused and feeling very fatigued, especially after being told lies his whole life believing one needs to eat everything, it’s a lie, but if you keep eating food that just maintain any sort of inflammation the healing may not happen or take longer because of it, that’s why cutting it down to just beef, salt and water is essential.
I’m a testimony for it, I’ve only eaten beef for 3 months, I’m alive and better than ever before, amazing deep sleep, no more brain fog ever, lots of energy, better mood, a sharp mind, and the list of positives just seems endless.
Never was a coffee drinker, and I’ve heard many people not healing on the diet, and I know it’s because they kept the eggs, they keep the bacon and keep the coffee or add other things to the diet, but if you try to heal will applying harmful substances it won’t happen, you gotta clear everything that’s a potential harmful substance, this includes smoking and sugar.
May be hard for the smokers but go ahead and vape my friend, it’s far less harmful than the combustion of fire !
Just keep it beef salt and water it’s very important, and one should not restrict the amount of beef, if you are hungry at anyone point, just make a patty steak or two instead and do not cheat. If it takes you 3 pounds of beef a day to feel satiated then so be it, but don’t restrict the hunger and don’t add anything else.
I believe if you cannot afford a big 2 pound or 800g of ribeye steak a day that ground beef will work the same way, but if you can afford the piece then have it. (Tbh here in France a ribeye steak is like 3hours worth of work per day, about 30€ for a nice 2 pound of grass fed beef)
And because a life is so precious, and when you are threaten, by all means give yourself the best chance to heal by eating the healthiest thing you can afford, it doesn’t matter if you have to cut on the social aspect, “friends” and family will more than likely push you into thorn bushes indulging into drinking and eating other bad stuff for you, just don’t give in, even against medical odds I should say at this point because I listened to doctors in the beginning, I had the creams the first time around but even then, even as a kid I always had a deep sense of doubt towards “doctors”, and my uncle is a cancerologist at the CHU of Bordeaux, now retired but he had Crohn’s disease and was treating cancer patients…. Like, heal yourself first and then you can help others, but stop pretending you are a doctor. Folks have been doctors for decades, and all they did was being salesmen for the pharmaceutical industry never helping others cure, just treating symptoms putting one into an endless cycle of suffering.
I also drink a lot of water, about 2,5L a day, sometimes 3 on sauna days.
Took me time to figure out what was the appropriate time when to eat as well, if i eat my ribeye steak at dinner I won’t be able to sleep, it would put me into a jet lag cycle of sleep where I would feel super sleepy during the day and energized at night and now I actually eat very early morning, just a couple hours after waking up which is around 7 am, sometimes a bit earlier, but one big piece of meat is usually more than enough for me to go through the day and going to bed for sunset around 9pm this time of the year (June). I don’t feel hunger for a full 24hours after my at least 700g of beef.
I try to get myself some nice grison at the butchers for snacking, it’s basically dried beef, super delicious and I’m not getting any inflammatory response but it’s not a habit, if they have some I will get some, if they don’t then I don’t care and on occasions if I feel hungry during the day I will just make myself a patty steak of 15% fat.
If people have more questions I’m willing to answer them no problem.

All carbs turn to glucose (in other words sugars) after ingestion in the body.
Simply put, the world is addicted to sugars.
Sugars are just as addictive as heroin or nicotine.
This is the cause of the health epidemics virtually everyone faces through their indoctrinated diets from so called health agencies ( think food pyramids here).

There’s no need to change a diet to pure meat. Eat like any other ape and you’ll be fine. In fact it’s beneficial.
The biggest perk of going carnivore is it forces the person to cut out processed foods and sugars. Just do that and continue to eat fruits and vegetables too. They have vitamins & minerals and fibre that meat doesn’t.

There is no difference between any form of carbohydrates regardless of if they are processed or from natural such as fruits or sweet potatoes. It all turns to glucose in your body when digested which impacts insulin, inflammatory and diabetes issues.
I'm not saying don't eat carbs, but they need to be limited. You don't need any carbs to live at all as your bodies energy source for fuel can be easily switched from glucose to fat and your body can produce sufficient glucose for brain fuel itself.
We don't need any exogenous carbohydrates at all to survive.

People's biggest enemy is combining too much fat and sugar at the same time.

Why people act so surprised that meat is our primary food source and that we can thrive on eating meat exclusively. We have DNA of our ancestors from times when they split from other primates. They couldn’t hunt yet and they couldn’t eat grass either. With help of some sticks they could take meat from other animals or they ate leftovers of killed animals. This period lasted 2-3 million of years and evolutionary adaptation is irreversible. Then came hunting. They had no reason to eat any plants. For over 5 million years humans ate meat. Agriculture started only 15k years ago. We need another 2-3 million years to adapt to eating carbohydrates. Stop acting surprised. Once you understand who we are and where we came from, eating meat only makes perfect sense.

Great video - so many good points. I dabbled in low carb for most of 2022 - only reducing sugar and my preferred carbs (bread, pasta. potatoes, rice) - with limited success due to still having cravings. Just before Christmas, I went cold turkey over my two weeks holidays (great time to do as not at work where there was always so many food temptations round the photocopier!), and started losing heaps of weight/totally lost all cravings - as long as I'm satiated with meat/diary/fat. Have now lost about 18kg in 5.5mths. I think I was probably pre-diabetic, always tired in afternoons. My husband loves that I barely snore now, my knee pain from old sports injury is much improved, my skin is much clearer, and I just have so much less brain fog and more energy. I've started dabbling now in carnivore, and loving all the great personal accounts of improved health and Carnivore doctors information on UA-cam. It is just such a shame that so many people are suffering with ill-health because they are following the conventional food pyramid advice.

Anyhow, even going half into low carb, my life also has changed. I retired four years ago and have lost 30 lbs. and am back to where I have been most of my adult life. Arthritis - gone. Psoriasis - gone. Energy level - high. All lipid levels better... Pre-keto, I retired four years ago, thinking that my career is over. I was extremely tired and overweight. Now, I've started a business and my life has completely turned around. I'm in the oil and ga business and often inspect petroleum storage tanks - lots of climbing. The other day, the youngsters working with me asked me to slow down... I'm now very active and keep getting hired by new clients. My income is double what it was last year at this time. My doctor, who had two overweight nurses working for him, first told me that keto was "dangerous." Now, he says to "keep doing what I am doing" and his two nurses are a lot slimmer..... I know they have gone keto.

The issue with people changing from the standard American diet is the healing crisis. Its like fixing an old rusted car, the body parts have got to be broken down before they can be fixed. People just don't have the patience or strength and panic when the fruit starts stripping the body of mucus and inferior dead cells built on cooked foods. Make no mistake over time the cooked meat is going to play havoc with your system because you cannot regenerate eating dead cells. In the short term it is a wonderful approach.

I have been on and off carnivore diet for a few years now. When I'm on it, I lose body fat, gain muscle, and feel amazing. When I'm off it, I gain weight and feel hungry and tired all the time.
I keep getting knocked off the diet by my own hubris. I think "oh it's my birthday, I can have some icecream" or "it's mother's day, I can take my mom to chinese food". Then I eat some carbs and that's it. the addiction takes over and before I know it, it's been 3 months and I've gained 20 pounds and I've got a Snickers bar in my hands.
I've got to get myself back on the diet and stick to it. No cheating. No special occasions. Carb addiction is very real and I honestly believe it is one of, if not the most difficult addiction to beat. How could it not be when its all your body has known for 40+ years?

Reward yourself differently. Clothes, jewelry, new house decoration, hiking, a peaceful walk through a flower garden. Those who celebrate with you are also imbibing the unhealthy food with you. Make the change and be the change for them if you really love yourself and others.👍😉

Thomas Delauer did a video on an academic research study about increasing protein in the diet, and it was found that increasing protein causes muscle mass retention & weight loss. I think it’s because theres a lot of enzymes and stuff in meat that improve digestion & processing of all the food we intake, so everything is more efficient and used properly, instead of endlessly storing excess fat and disrupting metabolic function.

I’ve been following a plant based diet for over two years now on the advice of my family doctor. I’m 72 and am height and weight proportionate, good BMI. I have to say all the things that Peterson is describing in his diet are the same results I’m experiencing. I just can’t understand where he’s getting other vitamins and micronutrients if all he eats is meats. Unless he’s supplementing.
The other issue is the quality of the meat he’s eating. Are we to presume it’s strictly grass feed ,hormone and antibiotics free? Because so much meat out there is not free of those substances.
The same can be said of a plant based diet which could contain pesticides ,be GMO etc.
It’s a case of consumer be aware. Quite frankly this whole subject needs to be properly teased out and better explained by actual dietary specialists and nutritionists . Mr Peterson and his wife and daughter obviously are happy with their choice but I would advise others to do their research before rushing headfirst into a meat only diet. Humans since the dawn of time have actually been more omnivorous not carnivorous .

Yes on this I feel his diet choices have a lot of ignorance to them, he works long hours I doubt he has really gone into this properly.. meat only diet is almost impossible to go into a calorie surplus on, you get sick of eating it and your body does not feel like eating more... this keeps you full for longer also. So this provides the consistency of a calorie deficit. JP was quite chubby in old videos he is referring to, again a consistent form of calorie surplus over time which probably has consequences... too much fat = health problems.. I gain a lot of fat in my late 20s early 30s and health problems came along with Psoriasis..my meat diet helped the symptoms but I lost a lot of fat also... but I noticed psoriasis was inconsistent... but the less fat I have the better my condition is.. sometimes I wake up after alot of carb eating and it has reduced... I think a lot of his problems can be related to stress...he works long hours and is constantly under stress. I think stress and fat are 2 deadly combinations and this leads to problems. Japan shoves rice down their throats like it is going out of fashion and are the one of the healthiest nations around...so I cannot fully accept his premise.

I tried ketogenic diets for years, off and on. At first, I would lose weight on them, but then it would stall and eventually I would fall off the wagon. I think a large part of the failure was that all the keto cookbooks and online recipes were for foods that were meant as substitutes for standard American diet (SAD) foods. Keto pizza! Keto dessert! And, of course, they didn't taste as good as the real thing. Ultimately, you begin to resent that and to miss the genuine versions. So you cheat. And then it's over.
Now I'm on carnivore. It isn't a substitute version of anything. It's easy to stick to -- I'm never hungry. I sometimes skip a day of eating because I just forget, and my stomach doesn't remind me. I feel great and all my old ailments are gone. The weight is melting off -- much faster than it ever did with a keto diet -- I weigh less than I have in decades.
It's easy to understand why this works. It's a species-appropriate way of eating. Becoming carnivorous is what separated our ancestors from the rest of the great apes. It both allowed and required development of our larger brains. This is the way we were always meant to eat.
