I'm delighted to hear a discussion about virtue signalling versus taking substantive action. I have an apprentice program in Africa teaching digital skills to youth. Dealing with Africa is challenging; it's costing me money and a huge amount of time. But it's also rewarding because the youth I train are immensely appreciative. Tommy's documentary (which he was ordered not to show) highlights the real story and all the government "involvement" in that case. As for Piers' interviews with Tommy... that's just Piers' general attitude in debates. Mostly attacking, talking over them, without actually discussing points with them... but all in all, yes - Piers definitely owes Tommy a major apology in my opinion. I'm delighted to hear a discussion about virtue signalling versus taking substantive action. I have an apprentice program in Africa teaching digital skills to youth. Dealing with Africa is challenging; it's costing me money and a huge amount of time. But it's also rewarding because the youth I train are immensely appreciative.

Tommy's documentary (which he was ordered not to show) highlights the real story and all the government "involvement" in that case. As for Piers' interviews with Tommy... that's just Piers' general attitude in debates. Mostly attacking, talking over them, without actually discussing points with them... but all in all, yes - Piers definitely owes Tommy a major apology in my opinion.
