Again Dr Ekberg proves himself to be a knowledgable but always modest man. And a pleasure to listen to that gentle voice - after so many strident and hectoring ones nowadays!

Great interview. Over the past 3 years I’ve learned so much from Dr. Ekberg. He truly has changed my life. I’m 68 and feel better than I did when I was 30. Currently on zero medications and maintaining my ideal weight.

People claim not optimal. But why?
The more carnivores seem to go strict carnivore, such as the lion diet, the more they seem to be like OMG, this is amazing.
People also like to say the disclaimer, “I don’t think it is for everyone”. Why do that? It like some group think attempt to have some sort of out, like saying “I’m not one of those crazy carnivores, I mean like if it works for some people that’s great but like not for everyone right?” It’s such an odd unsupported friendly face word salad declaration.
It’s all pretty simple. Carnivore diet is great for humans. That’s it. Do it yourself for 90 days. One of the best ways to understand is to do it yourself. That’s why people call carnivores a religion, we’re trying to wake people up to the storage food industry lies that have backed our medical education for their own benefit.

It's a noncommital answer. They say it's good but if they say it's the best and should be the only diet, then you have all the vegans and vegetarians grabbing pitchforks and calling for your cancelation. Not only vegans and vegetarians, so many people still believe that red meat is bad for your health. They think cholesterol is going to kill you. They think fat makes you fat. All myths. But they'll argue til they're blue in the face that they're right.

It's actually the opposite. Fiber used to make my poops so bulky that I'd end up constipated. Without fiber they come out smooth and less frequently and don't clog my fucking toilet every other dump.

you re probably American, right? Americans usually think they are the only human beings on Earth. It s not because Wallmart and McDonald provide you with Junk food that it means that the solution is to eat like hunters. Why would the hunters from a certain era be the best informed about the right food? It s only a religion indeed. Look at OTHER cultures and you will see how better Looking AND Healthier they are: and they don t eat red Meat or butter :)))

Neither. You should do both. It's like saying are stocks or bonds better? Do both. Balance, like Mr. Miyagi says. Mediterranean diet/DASH are best.
