@@albertawheat6832 I politely disagree. if only people were more exposed to the curriculum that was taught, let's say, even in the Renaissance (let's say, just the basic grammar school material such as trivium) arguably they would be able to have more skills to think clearly and critically. we need a point of reference of the method, i.e. 'how to think', and people just so happen to be the transfers of these methods. so one isn't necessarily in trouble if they need people to teach them how to think. Aristotle, Cicero, Kant... they were all people who taught other people how to think.

the reason this interview went so smoothly and that Pierce never once talked over his guest was because Ms. Peterson was the epitome of politeness, respectfulness and humility. she exuded confidence yet was genuinely humble and both Pierce and the audience felt that. all this made the atmosphere of the interview calm, allowing the free-flowing of ideas. it also helped that Pierce had a good experience interviewing her father beforehand. kudos to both for a successful interview.

Love what your family has had the courage to openly speak about. I may not agree with everything Jordan says but know that he is a hero to humanity. Anyone who bashes him has obviously never even listened to him. I discovered him at the same time I discovered Christopher Hitchens (around 2016) and both have been integral to tickling my curiosity about absolutely everything.
