@@dale2283 yeah lets watch 1 hr a day of videos about how to be productive, instead of just spending that hour actually being productive. Makes tons of sense lol.
I had no idea what dopamine detox really was, but I took advice to do nofap, wake up early, cold showers, meditate, it felt SO NICE. Gonna start tomorrow
Thats so true, videogames aint really that fun. Id rather be living the dream life and have that dream body, just like anyone would. 6:48 is so true, its like a drug and u need more to keep up with the bad habits
People literally spend too much time on small pleasures such as gaming and drinking, but they don't look at the long term stuff like ive seen ppl be on tik tok for like 10-12 hours a day which is such a waste. they should work on somethin that would benefit them in the future and would have a greater amount of happiness than a video that you slide up for.
@@CrashDummyShawty ive noticed increade in discipline, an insane decrease in acne, possible muscle recovery from it but i have no way of measuring this, and a feeling of gratefulness and happiness after the shower is ended. Do u take cold showers crashdummies?
4:24 had me rolling 😅 watched the whole video tho great points. I’ve been trying to start a dopamine detox but i started with the sunday 24 hour and i’m definitely switching over to the daily lifestyle it makes more sense.
I think watching videos like hamzas are very beneficial and aren’t as addictive . Maybe stick to 1-3hrs a day or a few times a week. Aslong as we are journaling these things down , then we won’t be as addicted to dopamine
Hamza please im desperate, my elbows have tendonitis and now my shoulders are fucked to i dont wanna stop lifting it was my life everything has gone to shit. What do i do
the one thing i struggle with my dopamine detox is deciding if i should listen to music? I know its dopamine and its bad. Now the problem is, that i spendm WAY too much time on changing the song. The whole time of changing the song combined would be AT LEAST 45m. So any recomendations?
I will just leave the dopamine consumption at the end of the day so I start doing the things I should do and look forward to the end my day to get my reward

@Alejandro I can attest to reading manga on the phone being addictive, just yesterday i spent 7 hours reading manga, since i couldn't do any of the other habits i compensated by over indulging on this.

I’m sorry but this seems like a sad existence u can be productive and still enjoy life
I know netflix is bad but can i still watch documentaries in them? Liek the boring ones
as long as it doesn't constantly wear off dopamine then sure
So hanging out with your friends is better than instant gratification?
(Clean hangouts btw)
But other than that be productive?

???
I started my journey last week and I feel more motivated to do stuff. I feel like killing a deer and skinning it. And then cooking it in a stew
Im guessing things like cannabis arent allowed then?
Pretty sure its not. Kind of hard to lay off once you’re on it, I’ll go a couple months and start again
But only weekends would be fine I suppose?
Make it a treat with the boys a few times a year is usually what Hamza preaches
Once a year or none is good because then you only experience the positives
does playing a instrument counts as delayed gratification?
No it's passion , only stop doing stuff that are harmful
