1) Spending time with family
2) Being in nature
3) Reading
4) Small Craft work
5) My University work
how are u doing 2 years later my friend i failed after 3 weeks hahaha
Just wanna thank you for sharing your experience with us
We are truly on a path most people nowaday wouldn't even think about because this digital world really createt weak-minded people.
And it's truly an honor to understand that you can have control over your mind throug understanding these instant gratification activities are actually harming ones ability to live a truly happy live
Thank you and stay strong❤️
You’re welcome. It’s a hard path, you fall off and you’re back into the normal world where it feels so hard to come back here. The digital world has been carefully designed to be as addictive as possible simply because of profits. But that comes at the cost of our individual mental health.
This lifestyle is the cure to many of the symptoms the majority of people are feeling today but it is a difficult process to abandon ones addictions, especially when they revolve around the ‘social’ life someone has and the fact that we’re addicted to something we keep on us/next to us literally 24/7.
thanks man you always put me in a positive mindset, your optimism is contagious
I love watching your videos and I am truly grateful to have found your Chanel
The nature sounds were amazing. Great message Hamza.
This video is influence for my self development journey. Thank you for making these vids
Very nice to see your growth Hamza!
Beginning is the hardest part definitely.
When you start doing something hard, first you need to have a mentality of steel, then as you progress it gets sm easier.
old gold videos, the real hamza i found now
this video deserves more views
I am doing dopamine detox and it's amazing to know that im not alone😀🙏

The happiness on his face is just making me happy too ❤️
Great video, I discovered you on Reddit and I am glad I clicked on it.
That means a lot, thank you. I hope you find some benefit to the knowledge I share and make sure you do the hard work to implement the methods in your life
I liked the video. It made me feel good :).
heavily agree! today is the first day of my dopamine detox and I'm glad to see it's going well for you. Even if I become remotely like you, I'd call it a W
Major W, what we miss out on 'normal' aspects of a social life in modern times, we gain in long term progress and success, therefore creating happiness and true fulfilment which are the two major goals anyway. I hope you find great benefits from your hard work in the detox. Welcome to the club 🤝 I'm grateful you commented.
Hi Hamza, do you have an email? I would like YOU to be my first recipient as part of my gratitude letter. I’ve been watching your videos from time to time, and there is so much I strongly connect with.
Hamza97ahmed@gmail.com that means a lot, thank you. I’m happy it seems like my videos have helped you
Ill watch this one tomorrow
Hamza I am seeing a great power and energy within you and greatly inspired with your video so I am going to do a dopamine detox I am completely stay away from all social media and phone now I will only study.
I have a fear to get depressed. But as you say that I will find happiness in little work so I will try I will mention if I feel any improvement in my lifestyle.
Love from India.
How r things goin'?
Im really surprised that there's not as many views on any of these videos in the dopamine detox playlist
Still watching man, this is so eye opening tbh
I’m one year into the dopamine detox now, it’s been truly life changing. Are you doing one?
I started a week ago, and this has been the most productive I've been in a long time. But I haven't gone into it fully so there's still social media just drastically reduced...
Good man! Major progress came for me when I turned off my phones notifications and also kept it on do not disturb mode, I hope that helps you
your videos teach me a lot im really gratelull👍💪
I’m really glad you find some benefit from them. Make sure to use whatever knowledge you remember practically to aid your self improvement. I’m grateful for your comments today 🤝
Masterpiece vid
thank you !
Ive actully been doing gratidude journaling (15 things) meditation for 30min and going out in nature everyday (because its winter break) and I feel like, in only 2 weeks my life has changed. I got a video on that in my youtube channel, about mental health being crisis. These three things absolutly, with working out and reading great books is litrelly what you need for self improvment
dope video
love real contents like this. Love from 2024
It gives me a giggle about when he says people have clicked of I have been gyming cycling and cooking with it on in the background lad
From now I am starting it
hey hamza, great video. One question, when you say you are doing a sustainable dopamine detox, are you still checking like social media or some messages but only for a very limited time?
Yes I’m checking messages and comments. I wanted to reduce my pointless scrolling which was wasting time but definitely want to keep the conversations I have with friends and comments on my videos for channel growth and sharing/learning knowledge.
I also use Reddit to share these videos and that means I have to be a little bit active on there too. I try to keep them at a minimum but honestly sometimes I find it difficult. As soon as I go on Instagram to message (1 friend who we speak in Instagram DMs) it’s like my eyes and my attention gets spiked and I actually find it hard to remain concentrated. Same with Reddit. I go on to share my videos and end up quickly reading whatever posts are right in front of me. I actually have to put some effort in to take my eyes off the screen and focus on why I’m on that platform.
Scary stuff when that’s happening to me and I’m putting in so much effort for it to not happen. I can truly understand how people feel addicted to these sites.
Nice work man, you deserve more subs some real talk going on. Keep grinding and you will get there.
Trust the process 🤝 thank you my bro
keep it up dear
You can tell this video is a big video. ( Hamzas voice gets deeper )
Inspired
Amazing and useful video really helped, thanks bro
You’re welcome my man, thank you for commenting and letting me know
What can I teach to you? Languages for sure cuz I am a poliglot 😉
Bless you from an ex-greek colony bro (south italy)
Great video, and BTW, I love the " Special Content " after the ~15 min where the "elite gang" stays to watch the video. That in itself can become one of your unique things for the culture of this channel.
I also HIGHLY suggest you watch some of Alex Becker's video ( Great Entrepreneur), and his strategy to retain people's attention, pretty original, good to implement it here perhaps.
I also predict that if you keep the consistency, your channel will become big by a year's time dude, KEEP IT UP Brother!
I'm really glad I thought of that, once only the people really interested in this topic are viewing, I may as well talk with 100% honesty and be unfiltered in what I say. I will continue doing so for all of my long videos so watch out for that :)
I have watched a few of Alex's videos previously, I'll take your advice and make some notes of his tactics.
I believe so too, I set a performance (not results) focused goal on sticking to a schedule of 3 videos a week for the rest of 2020, uploading on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So far I've been crushing it and seeing some major growth with so many new people to discuss these interesting concepts with in the comments, like you 🤝 I'm grateful for all of your recent comments. Cheers
@@Hamza97 Hell Yeah Brother!
Great comment thanks for the advice!
What does IF/HP mean on the habit tracker
Keep going bro 📈
Just a little comment for the UA-cam algorithm.
Is anxiety part of it? My heart rate is hard to control but it’s getting better
Quit added sugar and reduce breads too
What do you do in your spare time
Watched the whole thing. Good shit. And yes I think you need a bigger neck and traps. you look like a normal guy when it's neck up but the rest of your body is obviously bigger and in shape!
Thank you for watching all of it mate, I hope my experience and knowledge can help you in your path.
Completely agreed, I somewhat neglected traps (3 sets a week) and started neck training just one year ago but I have been infrequent with that also. In the last two months I've added a much bigger focus onto these areas so we'll look out for the progress. I'll be sure to include a little clip of that in upcoming fitness related videos.
I gotta say, its so nice that I'm not getting influenced or wasting time on instagram anymore, its just me and my thoughts, fighting my fat belly till I too can see a six pack
He is such a sweet boy. 😊
Hey Hamza, what do you think about limited video games but where you are actually playing with your friends and laughing? I know this is an old video but I'm really trying to do better, but video games are the hardest part because I always play with my friends and I ACTUALLY enjoy it.
if you like it and it doesn't interfere with your commitments, you can play with your friends, always in moderation
Aye my birthday is may 12, cheers
How is it now?
❤️

Who else is watching Hamza's old videos in 2022?

I enjoy movies tho, good movies, like Parasite for example

I decided to start dopamine detox. Drastically reduce all my bad habits ( youtube watching, pointless talking online) and drastically increase delayed gratifications.
I'll note in 2 weeks my results
Here we go, I have no choice
how you holdin up?
@@theomte8227 I have never been as productive. My mental health improved instantly. Now there is only me and my goal
@@paradox7830 All the same. Working on my earnings
ok my turn
How it's going
I did 3 months of it then i just got sucked into it again. I lost focus. I learned that no matter how long I'm doing it, i can easily be addicted to it in no time
I see what you mean but I assume at that point in your life the delayed gratification activities halted or your circumstances changed because if you no longer have anything to replace these bad habits then it will be way easier to relapse. Hope you are back on the grind of detoxing and self-improvement... and if you are not right now, then use this comment as motivation to begin doing so.
It's hard when you're surrounded with temptations. I still am on my delayed gratification journey but the longer i do it the farther i set my distance from my friends
I dont know if i should change friends or just keep them off for now
i have a question in dopamine detox is it ok to watch yt?
no
11:35😂😂🤌
I have played and played many games for hours yet I still can't be good enough. I guess gaming is just not for me😔
9 months without social networks (I only used UA-cam about 3 hours a day, I must improve it), I feel much better since then and I don't think I will use them again for at least another year, or maybe never again, I don't know, yes still don't try this I recommend it

I've never done a dopamine detox but wanna try it. Great insights Hamza! Actually started a UA-cam channel and been posting a few videos on life optimization and finding happiness. Would be awesome to hear your honest feedback! Thanks! 🙏
Give it a try my man you might find some major benefits from it. You have some excellent content, smart knowledge mixed with entertaining video edits. I got a Matt D'Avella / minimalist vibe from it. Can I ask how you make the whiteboard animations? I subscribed and expect major growth in your channel 🤝
If attention spans were that short these days podcasts wouldn’t be so popular I think🤷🏻♀️ Also, thats really cool you’ve been self-improving for 6 years, what are the main things you did?
That’s a good point I didn’t consider. I’m 23, I started weightlifting and focusing on positive progress when I turned 17. I spent a whole lot of time researching and implementing methods to improve my confidence, self-esteem, happiness and physical attractiveness for a few years.
In the last year or so I started levelling this up massively. I spent a great deal of time learning to create online businesses. One is profitable to this day. I worked on improving my mental health and found out that the major thing I needed was to become more mindful. So I started meditating around 1 year ago but didn’t become consistent until this detox on May 12th.
I take online courses in courseara which I did not mention on the video but highly recommend because that’s where I learnt a lot of knowledge on the real scientific research on what makes people happier. Turns out none of the conventional things actually do and the biggest factors are internal, mainly mindfulness and gratitude. So I doubled down on those.
The main thing has been solidifying a progressive mindset. That all originated from lifting weights.
Hamza niice, thats really interesting, good luck with progressing further👍

I really like you and can relate to you but I do feel you are a little narcisstic or into yourself which is slightly off putting. I think it’s okay to feel that way about yourself but realise it’s never a likeable trait. Good stuff though
This video is pure gold. I feel bad for people who are missing out
Man you are so inspiring. I am grateful to have you as mentor. I am taking action nearly with everything you recommend. It’s just insane! 🤍🤍 Thanks, Hamza.
